Yup, looks a bit too repetitive for my taste. But i'm still sightly interested so i might pick it up at some point.

Not this month of course, i'm already saving money for a lot of games:

Persona Q2, Mario Maker 2, Crash Team Racing and Bloodstained.

This one will have to wait.

@Paraka Yeah i was wondering the same, it's not like there is any other good alternatives.

For other platforms is even worse since they don't have Mario Kart, they only have this one and Crash to look forward.

@ilikeike From what i watched on the stream, it seems to be local wireless with up to 4 players (they play together during the stream but each one on their own Switch).

@Bigmuc God Eater feels more fast paced so you might enjoy it more than MH.

@Morrow The anime only covers like 1/3 of the first game story, let alone the Burst arc.

@Bigmuc Well, Monster Hunter (on the Switch) is a 3DS port while God Eater 3 is a PS4/PC port.

You might actually like God Eater if you want a game with more story compared to MH. You should check the demo (once it's released) if you get the chance, it might be up your alley.

I still think MH does hunting better but God Eater is pretty good on it's own.

Already played the first game, it's a fun dungeon crawler. Definitely looking forward to play the sequel.

I know Q1 had the same type DLC but i was still hoping wouldn't be the case for the twins in Q2.

Well that's too bad, i was hoping at least this one would be included in the game since Q2 is more centered around P5.

Since i'm in a tight budget will just settle with the base game.

Not sure if it's actually exploitable but it seems to use some outdated version of mruby with known public vulnerabilities. Unless he backported the fixes himself.

As long it supports the Pro Controller this time around i'm happy. I play mostly docked these days.

@NinjaWaddleDee They release a new game every year since the PS2. This year we had 2 which is Nelke and Lulua.

Nice new features (some kinda of late), the zoom is particularly pretty good for people with bad eyesight (not me but nice to see accessibility options being added).

Now if they could include folders and themes it would be nice, it's pretty much all i want as far UI design is concerned.

They are charging double the price compared to the mobile version.

As much trash talk people give to the 2DS, it was actually pretty popular among kids and people with tight budget. As a gamer from a third world country i can relate with this.

I'm a late adopter (2017) so i still have a lot of 3DS games to play and that's not even counting the DS games.

Totally worth it.

I'm just hoping there is no "exclusives" and the current model can still play all future games.

As for the cheaper model, it could sell pretty well if the price is right. Consoles costs an arm and leg where i live so cheap models like the 2DS are pretty popular around here.

I found to the game to be very hard. Not soul crushing but still hard and fun.

Not sure why people expected an easier version, Xbox players didn't have a problem playing it so i don't see why Switch players should be treated different.

I know you guys need clicks for revenue but damn, at least try to make an effort.

Looks ok for the price, i might pick it up in the future. At least it does look better than most Kemco games.

Borderlands 2 is a really good game. But it's published by 2K so it'll probably cost $60...

@GloryQuestor Hopefully they'll find a way to bring the series to the Switch. I love the Etrian games so much that i hope it we don't see the last of the series on the 3DS.

I know it'll be hard to adapt to a single screen but it would be nice if they manage to do it.

I'm just happy this is getting localized, can't wait to play this!

Hopefully we'll be able to play this in english soon.

My next purchase is Persona Q2, it'll probably be the final game i'll be buying for my 3DS unless they announce something good for the system.

I think i pretty much got everything i wanted for my 3DS but i still only halfway through my backlog. It'll probably take me a few years to play everything...

@sikthvash Same here, i play mostly docked so having the dock to support external HDD would be nice for me.

1TB or 2TB USB HDD are pretty cheap where i live.

Not really, if they want a cheaper Switch lite then it's better to drop the dock and the detachable joy con.

Leave the game card slot alone.

This game is free on Android by the way. If you reeeally want to play this then just download for your phone.

But honestly there is better alternatives out there, like Octopath and Romancing Saga 2.

Alliance Alive is a good game but i don't think i will be double dipping since i just recently played it on my 3DS.

@Zach777 Danganronpa Trilogy as well, both series are from the same developer (Spike Chunsoft). They should really release Danganronpa and the Nonary games for the Switch.

400GB sd cards are costing the same as a 2DS in my country, i might get one for me. 1TB will probably cost an arm and a leg with all the import taxes we have here.

I wish the dock supported external HDD, it would be way cheaper for me since i play mostly at home.

Well, what i can expect from the company that killed Heroes of the Storm development and was sad that "only made $500 million" during BO4 first week (which was more than Avengers Infinity War).

Dreaming about being Seiken Densetsu Collection in the west but most likely just the release date for FF7.

Unlikely to be KH related, you guys are waaay too optimistic.

I prefer the Collection over the 3D remake, i hope they finally bring it to the west.

Since i own a gaming PC i'm only buying exclusives and local co-op games (to play with my family). But even so there is a lot of games for the Switch.

I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I recently gifted my niece and nephew a 2DS for each of them. They are loving it.

Being cheap and having a huge library of games helps a lot. They never had one so now they have plenty of games to play. It'll be a few years before they get tired of it.

You mean "Generations Ultimate", which is called Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) in Japan.

Monster Hunter "Generations" was only released for the 3DS and sold 4.3 million units.

Pretty design but not worth when you can buy the Hori case which can hold 24 games.

Also my Switch case already holds 8 games alongside my Switch.

Doesn't matter to me, i'm still getting it. I actually like japanese VO in most JRPGs.

But i understand the frustration of some people here, not everyone likes playing with japanase dub after all. For me it's fine though.

Depending on the price it could take the place of the 3DS as a "good birthday/christmas" gift for kids as well.

I personally wouldn't mind buying one for my nephew and niece if the price is right. I gave them a 2DS last year and they're loving it. A cheap Switch mini would be next in the list for them in the future.

The premium edition looks tempting, i'll probably get that one...

GPD Win 2 also costs $649. You can't really compare...

If you want to play every popular game you'll need to invest in more than one platform, like PS4 or PC.

I have a gaming PC alongside my Switch so i'm won't be missing games like this.

However i wouldn't be surprised if they make a "Cloud version" like RE7, not that i'm interested in cloud gaming...

Nice! This is the last game i wanted on my 3DS and as a Persona AND Etrian fan i didn't want to miss this one.

Hopefully it'll be localized this year...
