I think it will be like the 3DS, it sold extremely well but it never surpassed the DS. It was still very successfully though.

Sorry but as an owner of both Luigi and DK games on the 3DS this is a hard sell for me. Might pick at some point with a good discount but not a full price.

It's a very fun action game, i beat first time with a friend and had a blast. Same with RE5.

But to be honest i also like the direction the remakes are going, i wouldn't mind a RE5/RE6 remake on the same style of RE2/3/4.

2ds was more comfortable to hold for me. Even with a n3dsxl i still come back to the 2ds sometimes..

I genuinely thought it was the John Wick skin coming back, not Alan Wake.

@BTB20 I never said it was going to sell more than Wonder though, but it will certainly sell pretty well unlike some people claim.

@samuelvictor I still think Sonic will sell pretty well, some people make it sound like it'll sell horrible or something.

Not everyone has a Switch, Sonic is also releasing in 5 other platforms, no?

I wish big companies had half of the commitment this indie dev has with his game.

After what people used to do with the miiverse i'm actually surprised they didn't expect this to happen.

I don't think people are buying Switch to play Call of Duty but currently having the largest install base of all current consoles i don't think it will sell badly neither (as long it's a good port).

For this price they should have included 4 and 5 as well, this is a hard sell for me even as a fan of the series.

I'll bite once it's $20 or less, otherwise i can live without it since i already own the entire series (except Drowned City) on the 3DS.

@Spider-Kev The Home Menu as a whole got updated, not the button itself. This sometimes can mean wording, text, functions or just behind the scene code changes that most people won't notice. We'll know for sure when more data is mined.

Thanks Nintendo, i was about to go crazy without my monthly dose of stability™.

Not on DS but i used codebreaker and gameshark on my PS2 extensively. Being able to skip grinding in jrpgs made me enjoy some games a lot more than i would if i played normally.

@ATaco He also worked as executive producer of Gunvolt 3, which is a good game in my opinion.

But still i understand people skepticism, some backers never got their 3DS/Vita copies of Might 9 (or any other alternative for it)

Where is Tofu? I can't believe freaking Piers made to the list but not Tofu. Honestly even characters that dies off-screen are better than Piers...

Got all the games i wanted years ago. I have yet to beat half of it though but i plan to finish them eventually...

I played it religiously for half a year, almost everyday. I still check my island from time to time, usually once a week. I personally think New Leaf was better but New Horizons was totally worth the money + more.

Depends on reviews and when we get more footage. Most of their games has good marketing material but at launch end up just being flat gameplay wise.

Still holding my final judgment until it's actually out but it's hard to not have doubts after being disappointed with their last 5 games

@LinktotheFuture Yellow and Crystal for the 3DS. It may come to the Switch NSO eventually but who knows who long it will take, even on the 3DS took a good while to be added.

4U is a must have, 3U is nice if you want more MH and Gen can be skipped if you have a Switch, just get GU there.

@steely_pete It's getting re-translated, that's for sure. You can compare the footage we got so far with the old DS version, a lot of the dialogue got changed.

Probably because Natsume did the old translation, which wasn't great to begin with it.

If it got removed from the Xbox store as well then it's probably because of the panties hunting quest. If that's the case then i'm actually surprised it got removed from the eshop, Nintendo is usually more open minded about that stuff.

I would sub in a heartbeat if they added expansion/DLC for every first party game, you know the IPs they own themselves.

Right now if you're not interested in the retro games it's still very lacking. I'm surprised they haven't added the stuff from FE games and Xenoblade 2/3.

Nope, i have been buying games only on discount in the last few years. I can wait if necessary, i have plenty of to play on my Switch and PC, heck even my 3DS still has a big backlog that i have to clear.

Some of these games got fan translation patches if someone is really interested in playing them, just a tip.

@JohnnyMind Do you know anything about romance? I really don't care about children units but i liked the romance aspects of the past few games.

I'm digital only on PC because... well, good luck finding a physical PC game, the few ones are just download codes anyway (or still requires online activation, which defeats the point).

Physical as much possible with consoles since a have the option. I don't pass on digital only games but if it has a physical version i'll try to get that version.

As a big fan of the series i'm still getting it but i'm keeping my expectations in check after the mixed reception.

RF5 has been looking more promising since the first reveal trailer, while i like both SoS and RF games i think RF5 has a higher chance of being the best of the two this generation.

This is not intended to be an upgrade for current owners, if you need the extra battery just get a reliable power bank.

For future new owners who are interested in the standard Switch instead of the Lite, this is a good treat.

Sounds like they will keep it as long it sells, doesn't mean it will get new games.

I don't see anything wrong with that, it doesn't affect the Switch in any way.

Will probably wait until everything is out before buying anything, not a fan of pre-ordering DLC one year before it's released. We don't even know much details.

DLC aside, i think Nintendo in the west has been doing a bad job marketing this game. You see a lot of japanese commercials and most new info we get is from translated japanese news outlets (they just got a 9 min long trailer detailing a lot of the game system).

It doesn't even look it's been released this month, it could use some more marketing in the west.

Really happy with this announcement but not digging the art style that much, the Doraemon SoS game looks way better. I think they could do better than this.

The environment looks cool but the characters model could use some work. Hopefully Rune Factory 5 will look decent.

Hoping for a western release.

I see it more as one complementing each other. It's easy to see someone owning a PS4 or PC alongside the Switch (like myself) instead of rivaling each other. The exclusives makes both platforms a good sell.

For that price i might as well buy the physical edition.

While i enjoy these games i wish they included Legend of Mana as well...

Can't wait to play this. As a fan of both Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey series i simply cannot overlook this game.

I'm curious about what they have been changing with these last updates...

I play on my N3DSXL regularly alongside my Switch, still have to finish half of my backlog. Can't wait for Persona Q2, it's probably the last quality title for the 3DS.
