Gross, now we have people wanting to print boxes just to put on a shelf?. What Are you gonna put in it? Just have an empty case on the shelf? I guess physical is a disease.

@Tendogamerxxx what are you on about? There's always been a collection element to physical. That's why a lot of deluxe editions come in special cases or sleeves. In this case, if someone were inclined, they would put it in the case for Fire Emblem itself, swapping out the default one.

Ok I like the NA ones. I'm considering buying this physical if I can find the CE. The ost and the steelbook are way better than I expected.

I was out looking for the special edition today. No luck at all. Gamestop and Best Buy each only got two copies for preorders and Target didn't have them at all. None of them expected to get any more, either. Ended up buying the regular edition.

I really wanted that steelbook and CD. I'm not a collector per se, but I liked the steelbook, and FE always has good music.

@Ryu_Niiyama I do like the NA editions. Better than the standard cover. But that steelbook is real pretty.

Got it had to change my Region but got it now.

@JasmineDragon I got the Japan CE and BestBuy CE and Amazon CE version. Do you need ones from those?

If Gamefreak developed Fire Emblem 3 houses they would've just sold 3 separate versions

@iLikeUrAttitude : They had already done that with Fire Emblem Fates. In fact, buying Fates from the 3DS eShop only allows you to play one of the three campaigns when eventually prompted during gameplay, and the other two routes are unlocked by purchasing them as DLC.

I really don't get the appeal of these custom covers. I would never replace my professionally printed cover with one printed on consumer-grade paper from an inkjet printer. :/

@SwitchForce You have extra steelbooks?

@JasmineDragon I preorded from Amazon Japan fodra and BestBuy CE and Amazon EU because of the different extras they had weren't the same across the editions. So thought I mention it. I would've like if the CE were the same across the board that would make bying easier. I did also order standard at GameStop for the PINs wished all of them were the same.

@SwitchForce Wow, that is a lot of effort and expense. You must be a huge fan!

@JasmineDragon I am a fan of Fire Emblem since the 2DS and 3DS and had wished they made on package for everyone that had different extras that would sell and there be more for everyone as well. I'll wait til the Japan and EU version arrive and see how much funds I lost in the process. lol But they could've sold far more if they just said here is the version for everyone and if you want more this CE has more of this stuff or a higher CE has this so take your pick.
