If I buy items with V-Bucks I pay for on Switch, will I be able to use those same items on other platforms that aren't Sony? I expect the V-Bucks themselves won't be usable outside of Switch but I'm hoping anything I buy with them will be.

No G-Darius sucks, but to my knowledge, there hasn't been proper arcade ports of the first two arcade games that retains all three screens to any console before now, so that's something.

To be fair, the people who got into this map and played in it are complicit too. They knew they were playing in unauthorized content and gave proof of themselves knowingly and willingly participating in the hacker's actions by releasing this video. If they want to come out of this unscathed, they should have exited the moment they saw what was happening. But they just showed they're as guilty as the people who "forced" them into this.

I'm hearing conflicting reports on whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, so I'm going to buy this game twice to spite both camps.

Local mods are fun and good. Even I made one once, replacing Ryu's voice in Smash Bros. with his voice from Street Fighter 1. I will port it to Ultimate the minute it becomes viable.

Clearly, those people are a very positive influence in the community and they ought to keep endangering jobs for their own sake. We all win when that happens.

Love that people are getting mad because they're not getting what they wanted because Nintendo is breaking promises they never made over something that was never announced.

Guilty Gear 1 on Switch, because they're not through dodging the question on getting Xrd on Switch yet. At this rate we'll have X, Isuka, Overture and even X Advance on Switch before we ever see Xrd.

@BensonUii For anyone motivated enough to import Japanese games, that wouldn't be an issue. The fact they can play it at all is the reason region freedom was such a big deal, and now they completely forget about it once they hit a game they can't read.

So what exactly was the point of making Nintendo Switch region-free if people weren't going to buy Japanese versions of games they wanted in the first place?

I can't help but think that releasing this as a Super Nintendo cartridge will undermine their goal of spreading their message as widely as possible. They're going to release the game in other accessible formats, right? Because if not the only party this will benefit most will be collectors.

@MH4 It's mildly disheartening to see that anyone can get thousands of retweets just by posting something that's easily found in other parts of the game.

@JaxonH I still can't think of any real reason Xrd "wouldn't fit on Switch." There's nothing about it that would prevent it from being on a handheld console except it potentially being built in Unreal Engine 3, but if that's the case then that verbiage is inaccurate.

The lesson to take away is this: If you're going to pirate, don't bother trying to justify it. Nobody cares why you do it or what moral high ground you can mentally gymnastic yourself into, just do it, you rebel, you.

I bought the Variety Set for myself because I like DIY stuff. So far I finished the RC Car and the House. All the positive reviews out there are true—the real strength in Labo is the satisfaction in constructing each kit step by step, and Nintendo absolutely did not skimp on the interactivity bits. They may be constrained in scope, but they do all they need to in order to show off what the Joy-Cons are actually capable of. They go very far with the concept and it shows in the presentation of everything within, and it's clear that they have a lot further to go before it's mined completely.
