Re: UK Charts: Kirby Is Nowhere To Be Seen In A Quiet Week

ThatOneLevel

@TheWokesterGamer The "PSC" is a typo, it is supposed to be "PC". In the article it says "Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition has seen the biggest jump in numbers, going from 24th last week to 6th this week; most of those sales have come from the PC and PS5 versions, but the Switch 2 release has pulled in a solid 9% of sales."

There is a physical copy for PC, but only for the original, not the "Ultimate Edition" and I doubt the physical version still sells for new. Ultimate Edition on PC is the original game + Phantom Liberty. It was 50% off this week, so maybe that is why it saw a huge bump in sales

I don't know why it is counted for this week's chart since it is suppose to be physical only I thought.

Re: Nintendo Had No "Intention To Hinder Or Invalidate" Third-Party Docks For Switch 2

ThatOneLevel

I get that it is convenient to have multiple docks if you have multiple TVs and the official dock is expensive, but I just wouldn't risk buying a third party dock for a $449 or $499 console that could potentially get bricked.

I only got one dock and I just move my dock to the other TV if I want to use that TV. It is a pain with all the wires from my other consoles are all over the place, but it is what it is.

Re: Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted Rolls Out More Updates, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

@KoopaTheGamer I know bugs existed since the beginning of gaming, but you usually had to look for them. If you were just playing the game normally without trying to break it, you wouldn't run into major glitches unless you're playing Sonic 2006.
it just feels like devs release games before they are finished and then fix the bugs later just because they can. Instead of hiring game testers, they make the consumers the game testers.

Re: Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted Rolls Out More Updates, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

@Styledvinny79 The update isn't out on Switch 1/2 yet. The patch notes says the update released on PC November 3rd and consoles will get it in a few days. In the Switch section of the patch list, it says "We are aware that Switch patches have been lagging behind other platforms and taking longer than expected to release. This is due to certification timelines and we intend to release them as soon as possible. " So Switch 1/2 will get it later than other consoles.

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza's First DLC In-Game Event Kicks Off Next Week

ThatOneLevel

I finished Bananza last month, but I didn't get the DLC because of what you get for the price it is at, it doesn't seem worth it to me. $20 DLC in other games have a lot more to offer, so if there is ever a sale for the DLC that brings it down to $10 I might get it, though I don't remember if Nintendo ever does sales with their DLC....

Re: New Kirby amiibo Will Apparently Be Nintendo's "Most Expensive amiibo Ever"

ThatOneLevel

Excited for the game since I played the original Gamecube version a lot...But I wasn't planning on getting the amiibo, and definitely not doing it now with the price revealed. The game, DLC, and amiibo prices are just crazy this gen. Of course it isn't just Nintendo, as other companies are overpricing their games as well ($129.99 to get everything in the Borderlands 4 game??)

Re: Mario Kart World Wins "Best Nintendo Switch 2 Game" Of Gamescom 2025

ThatOneLevel

Best Gameplay: Donkey Kong...Best Game: Mario Kart World? Are these really experts deciding this? Mario Kart World has the best soundtrack no doubt compared to any title on the Switch 2, but even graphics wise I think both Mario Kart World and Bananza are about even, so what does Mario Kart World do better than Bananza other than soundtrack and...having an online mode I guess?

Re: Review: Chibi-Robo (GameCube) - A Charming Game About An Altruistic Robot Or A Shambolic Scavenger Hunt?

ThatOneLevel

I'd get chibi robo, but my gaming plans are packed since I already plan to get New Super Mario Bros Wii when it comes out next week. If Nintendo makes another chibi robo on the Wii or the rumored Wii 2 I might get the Gamecube one quicker as practice though. But Galaxy 2 is supposed to come out next year, so I doubt they would make another big 3d platformer for the Wii....Is what I would have said if I commented in 2009

Re: Random: Don't Worry Folks, Nintendo Says Mario And Peach Are Just "Good Friends"

ThatOneLevel

"Numerous games, alternate media, and supplemental material depict Mario and Peach as having mutual romantic affection for each other as well as a friendship. In Mario Party 5, Peach and Mario are called "Cutest Couple," and the official guide for Mario Party 8 states that Peach is the apple of Mario's eye. In the official guide of Yoshi's Island DS, the description for Baby Mario and Baby Peach: Dynamic Duo mentions the "romantic entanglements" in their adult lives, while the official Mario Kart: Double Dash!! guide reads, "Aw, isn’t that cute? Mario and Peach are together again." In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Peach calls Mario her "knight in shining armor," and in the first Paper Mario, one of the Toads tells Mario to take Peach on a date to Shooting Star Summit. In Super Princess Peach, after Peach rescues Mario, she enthusiastically calls and runs towards him and happily dances with him in celebration. Rosalina refers to Peach as Mario's "special one" in Super Mario Galaxy, with the two seen holding hands toward the ending of the game. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, Lubba and two other Lumas refer to Peach as Mario's "special one." Mario Power Tennis even goes as far as showing Mario himself telling Peach of his love for her in Peach's victory scene, which she responds to with a smile and a blown kiss. Also, in Mario's victory scene in Mario Power Tennis, Peach gives him a small kiss on his cheek."

Re: Pokémon Is Teasing Something Ahead Of Next Week's Showcase

ThatOneLevel

I really hope that if it is a next gen announcement, they don't release it until 2027 or later so that they can polish the game as much as possible. Pokemon Legends ZA is the only Pokemon game that should release this year, then maybe a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (or Explorers of Sky remake) or Lets Go gen 2 for 2026, nothing that takes too much resources from their next gen.

Re: The FBI Has Seized A Switch ROM Site As Part Of A 'Law Enforcement Operation'

ThatOneLevel

As much as I dislike people pirating games that are still being made either physical or able to buy digitally, especially indie devs that need every sale they can get to survive, it seems like a waste of resources to go after these sites when only a small percentage of gamers actually pirate. Taking down these sites aren't going to make pirates suddenly buy games, they will just wait for the next big site to come around.
