I generally don't enjoy typical dating sims either. I like the dating mechanics in Stardew and Rune Factory 4 though (eerily similar games by the way). I'm actually working on an action-adventure / dating sim hybrid game myself

Actually, middling review scores on aggregate sites means there isn't a consensus at all. That's literally exactly what it means.

This isn't REALLY random considering Crypt of the NecroDancer was highly marketed as being playable with a DDR pad.

@suikoden That's too bad, considering it doesn't require any more advanced rhythm than, say, walking down the street xD What makes these games difficult is the split-second puzzle solving rather than any actually complicated rhythm

@FullbringIchigo When your games are only out of the top 10 a few days a year because your competitors are slashing 90% of their titles, I think you're safe to keep your games at full price xD

@FrowningCoach The Ni no Kuni english dub is generally excellent. It's like a very high quality dubbed anime (think the Studio Ghibli movies)

@SKTTR Hate to burst your bubble, but the protagonist's name in Okami is literally Ookami Amaterasu (via the official art book). The Ookami bit is not just a title, it's a name playing on the Japanese word for wolf.

@Tendogamerxxx "Rushed" is a word only people who don't understand how big budget games are made ever use.

A game's complete feature set is generally decided YEARS before launch, it's not like they just add things in piece by piece and release the game when they feel like it. Just because a feature you wanted doesn't make it into a game doesn't mean they didn't have time to put it in... it means it was never planned to be put in, in the first place.

@ALinkttPresent Except that there are still games on the site with a "12/31/19" release date that seem to be sorting properly (they just show up after all the 2019 games with release dates, which is what you'd expect if a game were releasing on a nonspecific 2019 date).

@Mando44646 Nah, Cloud appeared as a lead character in both Final Fantasy: Theatrythm games for 3DS and had a minor (but speaking) role in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on the GBA, so he's been on Nintendo systems.

Joker's new though, since his first appearance on a Nintendo system would have been the yet-to-be-released Persona Q2 for 3DS if not for Smash.

@IHateTombs Fun fact, EGttR is one of my favorite "games" this generation. The coordination of the story reveals and the gorgeous soundtrack had me replaying it multiple times, despite the goofily slow movement speed.

@BubbleMatrix82 The main difference IS the mascot lead character. Other than that, there are a handful of exclusive Pokemon to each version (Pikachu gets Sandshrew, Eevee gets Vulpix, etc etc). Also some props in the game world are different, and some NPC events are very slightly changed.

Art Academy?! Hell yeah! Thought that series would die with the 3DS.

??? Pokemon was always easy. There's never been a Pokemon game where you HAD to get max IV Pokemon in order to beat the game. The only way to make Pokemon a hard game is to not grind your Pokemon up to high enough levels. Let's Go just took the grinding away. Thank God and good riddance.
