In case you missed it, or are still on the fence about whether or not Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! is right for you, Nintendo recently uploaded a comprehensive overview trailer reintroducing the Kanto region, along with the new - and old - wonders that await.
The clip runs for close to six minutes and in that time covers wild Pokémon encounters, trading, battles and the local and online features. There's also a section of the overview towards the end that details the connectivity between Let's Go and Pokémon GO. Be aware though, there might be some minor spoilers throughout if you haven't played much of the game yet, or have gone out of your way to avoid online footage.
As a bonus, the famous Pokémon theme song (from the anime) has been uploaded by The Pokémon Company, using footage captured from the two new entries in the long-running series. Again, there may be spoilers throughout.
"Get ready for an all-new adventure with a familiar song, Trainers! Revisiting Kanto with Pikachu and Eevee has us feeling nostalgic, so we decided to take a walk down memory lane. Sing along if you know the words (who doesn’t?!) and get ready to team up with Pikachu or Eevee in Pokémon: Let’s Go."
So, when do we get a video based on the Pokémon rap?
How are you enjoying Pokémon: Let's Go so far? Did you learn anything new from the above trailers? Can you sing the theme song from start to finish? Tell us below.

Looks nice but waiting for their next game.
Can we have a Magikarp compilation with the Magikarp Song in the background?
It's a joy to play with the pokeball...but is there anyway you can change the button layout? Clicking the stick to select all the time is horrible! Would rather depress the top button.
Your partner Eevee can't evolve; so my bond with it has soured considerably haha.
Thank goodness I payed 11 bucks for it to ship on release day :> wait, the game came out yesterday?
Man I'm glad I was wrong about this game.
The graphics are adorable, heartwarming really. The wild encounters can be a little boring, but the Gym battles are nostalgic and have a nice feel to them.
( I LOVE the NPCs in Pokemon so seeing them again, but with updated graphics are pretty nice)
I'm still pretty hyped for Pokemon Gen 8, but his is a nice treat.
Did you guys watch the video of the American Pokémon anime opening being remade using Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee? It’s a hoot(hoot)!
@Franz Regardless of how I may, or may not, feel about the game. That theme song still gets me going.
Though, I prefer the original Jason Paige version, personally. Still good though.
@GrailUK
Yea the button irritates my finger
@Mgene15 Glad it's not just me. Stick-clicking is and always has been unwieldly and awkward.
@GrailUK This may not work for you, but I put the stick in that crease under my knuckle. It feels slightly less obnoxious.
Just made it to Lavender, so it’s time to rev up a ghost squad. I’ve still only seen 2 Abra and they teleported before I could touch them, so...go Psyduck...?
Ahhhh I was hoping for no music at all for memes to venture into my screen XD
It's a fantastic game! I am pleasantly surprised. My son has such a blast playing it and I am enjoying it too.
Having a wonderful time playing this with my friends. Sure it's being carried a LOT by nostalgia, but hey, if it works it works.
I've been watching a lot of gameplay of this lately and it definitely looks a bit better than I'd expected. I especially like what they did with Lavender Town and the Pokemon Mansion. It looks like a fun, simple, and chill RPG, although probably not one that I'm willing to lay down $60 for. If it's ever on sale, though, I'll be all over it!
Great game. Kids love it. 10/10
Love it, much better then i love to admit!
I've watched other trailers, this one hit a nostalgia itch.
@ilikeike or just wait and get it used when people stop trying to sell it slightly used for 5-10$ more then the retail price and instead lower it down about 10$
@HobbitGamer The Ghosts don't have the Levitate Ability in this game, so you can use Ground type attacks to clobber them, as well, not to mention the usual Dark type attacks.
Always catch pokemon but there is no Battle option. And no practice battle repeat quest. No battle from backward Level to earn more EXP.
@BulbasaurusRex It’s all good, I finally found the TM for Psychic and just wrecked the place with Mew and Golduck. Mostly Mew. And caught 28 Ghastly because I was watching TV 😂
