I played for ten minutes or so, not enough to really give it a chance, but it was buggy and lackluster as a first impression. Unless a bunch of friends want to play together I think I'd rather play something else.

I played 13 games for a total of 406 hours, which is not that much really. My top three games were:
Tears of the Kingdom: 142 hours
Pokemon Violet: 71 hours
Final Fantasy VI: 63 hours

I haven't played a single one of these (although I have played the original Oregon Trail a long time ago).

I still prefer physical games so I would not buy a digital-only Switch. Also I need the Switch 2 to have backwards compatibility so if it can't play physical Switch games then that's also a no from me.

The Switch 2 absolutely needs backwards compatibility. There would be no excuse not to include it.

People aren't suing because their feelings were hurt or that they're disappointed in something. They paid money for something, didn't get the thing they paid money for, and didn't get a refund.

I'd love to be able to preorder amiibo but it's usually not possible. I got lucky and managed to preorder Zelda, but Ganondorf (and Noah and Mio) are unavailable everywhere I check. It's so annoying.

I haven't played this yet although I plan to. I watched a streamer play it, and my first thought was "this looks like unfun chaos, just uncontrollable madness" but after watching a few races I think there really is fun to be had. I look forward to giving it a try.

I bought the physical game from PlayAsia and then I also bought FFVI digitally on its own.

I wish the music from FFXVI was a free update since it's a mainline game, but then again people who paid for the season pass probably want to get their money's worth. I have the base game but I have not purchased any DLC. I'm tempted by the Chrono pack, but it's really not worth the price for a handful of songs.

The base game is great though, I like it. Buy it on sale if you're interested.

My forgotten game was an old DOS game I used to play with my brother. It was split screen game where two players each control a tank that can tunnel through the soil digdug style. You can restore fuel and health at your home base. The goal is to find and destroy the other player's tank but the world is enormous so it takes a while to find them (or their tunnels).

It was hard to find because there are tons of old school tank games. Eventually I did find it; it's called TUNNELER. It can run on a DOS emulator.

It's definitely "commercially accurate" because I was not surprised by the price at all. It's exactly the price I would expect it to have. Having said that I don't plan on buying it.

I can't explain why but I want the ""Harvest Moon"" games to succeed and be good games. I know they're not really Bokujou Monogatari but I want Harvest Moon to be good!

I played the 3DS games and they were extremely ok but not objectively terrible. Haven't played any of their Switch games.

FFVI doesn't need a remake but I'd love to see it. I used to hope for a DS remake like FFIII and FFIV got, but now I'm not sure. Honestly I think I'd prefer something 3D than the HD2D Octopath style. I'd also like to see the characters in their Amano designs.

I’m starting to finish up the main story quests but I’m nowhere close to being finished.

While I’m slightly disappointed that Animal Parade/Tree of Tranquility didn’t rank higher, most of the ones at the top deserve to be there, so I can’t complain.

My personal #1 is Animal Parade.

I preordered Maya. I already have Phoenix and Edgeworth.

I can’t wait to play FFVI again. I’ve been avoiding the Steam release waiting for it to be released on Switch. I’d love to get the physical version of the bundle but I doubt I’ll get it.

Hmm I have this game, I should probably start it up again.

I am beyond excited for Hades 2. It is now my most anticipated thing.

I would probably like all three of these.

I gave it a 7. It’s a good game, I’m enjoying it.

I got pokerus in Emerald; it was very exciting. Then in gen4 when you could trade online, it was no longer rare.

It was a neat thing but I don’t think the removal is a big deal.

I heard another reviewer say the game would be great if not for the performance issues. Hopefully there will be patches and updates, but Gamefreak really should do better.

Having said that I’m sorry but I’m still going to buy the game.

For me, this depends on how fun the cooking aspect is. The story and art look really nice, but I hope the cooking is fun and interesting.

Ace Attorney news? Either AA7 or 4-6 trilogy Switch release?

The rarest game I own is Cubivore for the GameCube and I’ve played it already. I wouldn’t have any problems playing it again if I wanted to.

I’m a big Rune Factory fan but I don’t know if I’m interested in this one. While it is a graphical upgrade to RF4, it doesn’t seem like it’s better in any way. Does anyone know if characters repeat the same dialogue every day? In RF4, characters would have something new to say almost every day and would have their own non-plot related gossip like an NPC winning an award and so on. This review doesn’t mention if the characters are any fun to interact with.

I did not choose between Meg and Than; Zag has two arms.

I hope they make a Meg figure too so I can have all three.

I don’t know… I already bought the DLC for Animal Crossing so now it feels like losing money if I get the expansion pass, you know?

I don’t expect Nintendo to try NFTs. They are extremely slow to adopt new technology even when people actually want it. With NFTs, not only does nobody want it except for the people financially invested in it, but it serves no function.

I loved this game when I played it on Steam. I probably won’t buy it again on Switch but I do recommend it to anyone who likes point and clicks and/or murder mysteries.

I ordered one. He will have a new home on my desk.

I did not play many video games this year but I rated the few that I did play: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Rise, New Pokémon Snap, and DBZ Kakarot.

I'm playing this now and I'm still pretty early in. So far I'm really enjoying it. If you're a fan of Dragonball and DBZ, it's really charming. There's a little jank but it's still fun. I like how it uses the music and narrator from the anime.

I have played a few of Natsume’s Harvest Moon games and they are bad but sometimes have a couple of things that make it fun, but this one and the previous one for Switch look terrible and they’re charging full price. As for Story of Seasons, I have been bored with the series for a long time. Rune Factory has interesting characters that talk about different things regularly but the Story of Seasons character have been flat and boring for a long time. Animal Parade was the last game to have good characters IMO.

Anyway I won’t be buying either game. Stardew Valley just updated and added new content.

My favourite Monster Hunter story was in Monster Hunter 3 where the plot was “a village is having problems because of nearby monsters so they hired a monster hunter to hunt the monsters” and that’s the whole plot.

Aside from Nina, none of the elderly characters die before the farmer who was presumably in his 20s at the start of the game.

I loved Skyward Sword when it first came out. The dungeons were amazing, some of the best in the series. But having played BotW, I don’t know if I can go back. It depends on whether or not they make quality of life changes and reduce the hand-holding.

They have nice official art but they don’t look nearly as nice in game IMO.

I enjoyed the first Fitness Boxing quite a bit, but I don’t think I’ll get the second one. It doesn’t sound like it really added anything.

I loved My Time in Portia so I look forward to playing this one.

I’m getting Niche. I always meant to play it on Steam but never got around to it.

I'm playing Summer in Mara now and I like it so far. It is definitely lacking in "Nintendo polish" but it's fun. I played for an hour before I realized I could run, so that helped my enjoyment when I finally figured that out. I think this game could have been really great if it had a bigger budget or was made by a big developer, but as it is right now, I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. Definitely not a 3/10 "Bad".

I’d like to have a physical copy of The Sexy Brutale but these limited releases are a little pricey so we’ll see.

@SquareOneMJ I'd recommend Sword/Shield. Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee are a lot of fun but Sw/Sh has a lot more content and it's perfectly newbie friendly.

I'm enjoying the game very much and I'm glad it's doing well.
