Xenoblade Chronicles X, about 50 hours in and I'm roughly halfway through the main story. Also a bit of Fast RMX.

Started strong with MK World, followed by 20 minutes of tedium as they showed game chat and the console itself, which we had already seen in the previous announcement.

The games shown in the second half were a decent selection, but nothing there for me personally. Definitely won't be buying day one, but I wasn't planning to anyway, so nothing has changed there.

Was away for a training course all week, I spent every available free minute in my hotel room on Xenoblade Chronicles X. Hopefully will have time to play more this weekend.

Currently torn between Totodile, my fave gen 2 starter, and Tepig, which I've never used before.

@IceClimbersMain thats fair, nostalgia is a powerful thing. Personally I don't have nostalgia for any platformers, it's a genre I got into in more recent years.

@IceClimbersMain agreed. In fact I'd say its better than any of the 3D Mario games.

Been an Ys fan since the PSP days. Mostly a solid list, but I'd rate Ys X a bit lower and Monstrum Nox higher.

Playing through Ys X currently on PS5, and finding it a bit underwhelming tbh. Combat and exploration both feel weaker than earlier entries, though I'm only about halfway, so that could change. Also we need Ys Seven on the Switch.

Seems I haven't spent much time on my Switch this year. 160 hours compared to 570+ on PS5. The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero was my most played, I'll be playing Trails to Azure next year sometime.

Picked up Doom Eternal in the recent sale but can't seem to get in to it. I've put it aside for the moment and have started Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS. I've been wanting to play it since the PS2 days so I hope it's worth the wait.

I play on PS5, have just finished the Stormblood expansion. Probably my all time favourite game and I'd love it to reach as many platforms as possible.

For an MMO the size of the player base is very important for continued growth and success.

Picked up Doom Eternal Complete bundle for less than £15.

Acquire by name, and now acquired by nature.

Waiting for my physical import copy to arrive.

Seems I haven't spent much time on my Switch this year. Total of 170 hours with Pokémon Scarlet my most played at 30 hours.

In comparison I've spent 300 hours on just Final Fantasy 14 on PS5.

@Chapapa you may have the data permissions disabled for your account. That seems the most likely reason.

Playing through Pokemon Sword with an entirely bug type team. Beat the last gym a couple of nights ago, now I'm training up for the championship.

Great game. I have it on PS4, it's one of the few platinum trophies I have.

It's my birthday this weekend so I'll be playing Tears of the Kingdom on my new Zelda OLED Switch.

I haven't played Ryza 2 yet. Perhaps I'll try to get through that before Tears of the Kingdom comes out.

Never played a Metroid Prime, so I will definitely be getting this. At least I will if I find somewhere the physical edition isn't already sold out.

@Ralizah Glad to hear it. It's been on my backlog for years. I'm planning to play it soon.

Been looking forward to this, but I won't be buying it immediately. I have quite a few strategy RPGs in my backlog, including Fire Emblem Echoes on 3DS. I'll work on finishing some of those first.

I'll be playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC on my very old laptop, as the second step towards eventually playing through the whole series.

On the side it'll be Pokemon HeartGold.

I'm planning to finish the last few levels of Door to Phantomile from Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series. I've also been playing Pokemon HeartGold on and off the last 2 months and now that I'm done with Scarlet it's getting more attention.

If I can find the time I may also start The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC as part of my attempt to play through them all and eventually catch up with the series.

I'm disappointed about missing out on the physical release, as I would have had FF 1-10 physical on Switch. Its not the end of the world though.

I've never played 3/5 so I'm looking forward to them the most. Will likely replay 4/6 at some point.

Pokemon Scarlet on Switch and Dragon's Crown Pro on PS4.

It's my wife's turn to choose, and she chose Violet, so I am playing Scarlet.

Truth is Nintendo has never been top dog in the UK when it comes to home consoles. Sega was more successful in the early days because they actually went to the trouble of releasing all of their best games in the UK. So many great NES/SNES games never came to here. Then PlayStation became the market leader, with Xbox not far behind.

I've never played Mega Man Battle Network, but this really catches my attention. Will keep an eye on it.

I have the next week off work and I am planning to start Nier Automata tomorrow night.

I'm planning an all nighter fueled by curry and microwaveable burgers, but chances are ill be asleep by 2 a.m. since I rarely get further than that when I try an all nighter these days.

I'll be buying this day one to show my support for the continued localisation of the series, but I won't be playing until I've played Trails in the Sky 2 and 3.

Dipping in to the Splatfest whenever I get the chance. Also planning to play more Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

I'm currently playing and enjoying XC2, so will be a while before I get around to this one, but I'm glad it's turned out so well.

So its a direct sequel to a game that is not on Switch, and a cloud release?

I have a feeling this won't sell well.

Planning to tackle the end of Trials of Mana. Some Diablo 3 co-op with the wife and I'd like to try the Klonoa demo.

The two previous games are brilliant. This is definitely on my list.

I couldn't care less. I'm quite happy to save a few quid this way.

I've decided to start playing through the Legend of Heroes series. Unfortunately my PSP went kaput a while ago so I've dusted off my old laptop to play Trails in the Sky.

Aside from that I'm also playing Pokemon Ultra Sun on 2DS and Star Wars: Republic Commando on Switch.

Played it on PS4. One of the few games I consider a perfect 10.

I'm working a lot this weekend but when I get the chance I'll be on Pokemon Legends Arceus. Managed about 30 hours last week, which is good going for me.

I'll be starting Pokemon Legends Arceus tonight.

I've no interest myself, but I'll probably get it for my kids at some point.

Seems a bit sus, if you ask me.

As much Shin Megami Tensei V as I possibly can. Partly because I'm enjoying it so much, and also so that I can finish it before Pokemon Legends Arceus releases.

Fantastic game. Its one of the few games I have the platinum trophy for.

It was an absolute joy to play, one of those games I was sad to finish as I enjoyed my time with it so much.

One of my most anticipated games for 2022, probably second only to The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero.

Probably nothing, as I've got four evening shifts, Fri-Mon, and a very persistent head cold that just won't sod off!
