With the upcoming rereleases of blue/red/yellow I am planning to play my way through all six generations of Pokemon. With the exception of Gen 1 I plan to use the remakes. Using the gen 1 originals as buying from eshop will be easier than hunting down the remakes.
Looking forward to it as gen 3 onwards will be new for me.
Voted for Crystal, Silver and Blue. Only played Gen 1 and 2 and I consider Crystal to be the point where the formula was perfected. Silver is almost as good, never played Gold. Blue was my first Pokemon game and my favoured Gen 1 game.
Can't wait to get Pokemon red. I haven't played the gen 1 games in nearly ten years as all my carts became lost in my parents attic or lost their battery saves.
Blue was my first and favourite but I'm going for red as I spent less time with it in the past. My wife is buying blue so I will have plenty of chance to trade for the blue exclusive Pokemon.
Looks good, although I kinda feel like I do when I get home from work and my wife has rearranged half the house. Looking forward to rating my games collection, and can't wait to see further changes.
In my town buying a Wii U game is simply impossible. It's a small town of about 4000 people and there is a single shop selling games, the local tesco. They typically carry FIFA, COD and Assassins Creed for the Sony/Xbox consoles and very little else.
I buy all my games online for this single reason. It's really depressing as I truly miss the act of browsing a video games section in a real shop but it is rarely worth travelling by bus for over an hour to reach my nearest Game store when their Nintendo offerings are so poor. A sign of the times I guess.
@Folkloner It's even worse in West Wales. I went to my nearest Game a couple of weeks ago, only to find less than two shelves of Wii U games and no consoles on display. Most of the games were preowned. The Wii section was more than three times the size.
1. Xenoblade Chronicles X, only 12 hours in but definitely my GOTY. 2. Splatoon, original and the only online shooter I've enjoyed in years. 3. Yoshi's Woolly World, excellent co-op fun. Just realised that I haven't played anything new on 3DS this year.

Re: The Pokémon Splatfest Results Have Been Confirmed
I would have chosen team blue if I hadn't been working all weekend. I still havent been in a single splatfest yet.
Re: Preview: Punching Pikachus in Pokkén Tournament
I have a feeling I know how Alex washes his trainers. He obviously doesn't buy them from Shoe Zone, or they'd fall apart.
Re: Video: Snazzy New Trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Shows Off Visuals and Features
It seems that hero mode turns it into the Legend of Dark Souls.

Re: Rumour: Star Fox Zero Facing Development Niggles, Another Delay Could Happen
@zool I swear your avatar has something against me. It only seems to blink when I can see it from the corner of my eye.
Re: Undertale Creator Open To Nintendo Port, But Wouldn't Be Able To Code It Himself
If it comes to Wii U I'll most likely give it a go.

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016
Looking forward to Dragon Quest 8. Missed out on the PS3 original so I can't wait for the 3DS release.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy May Arrive on the North American Wii U eShop on 24th December
Never owned a Wii, so I would like a chance to play this. If it ever comes to Europe with gamepad support I will give it a go.
Re: Terraria Still Planned for Wii U in 'Early 2016', as Greater Detail is Confirmed for 3DS Version
Will the Wii U have a retail version available from the start by any chance?
