Blue Fire, Baldo, The Last Campfire and Faeria all look quite appealing to me.

Don't know much about Sky: Children of Light but as it's from thatgamescompany I'll most likely buy it. Journey and Flower remain two of my favourite games.

Damn, I think that roughly lines up with Trails of Cold Steel III.

I'm off work this weekend so I'll keep chipping away at Octopath Traveler, Doom II and Mystic Quest from the Collection of Mana

Will also play some Bubble Bobble 4 Friends with the kids. They'll be playing Math Land too, which they are really enjoying. I highly recommend it to any other parents looking for a decent education game on Switch.

Might play some more Degrees of Separation co-op with the wife, but she has just bought Rune Factory 4 and Two Point Hospital so may be busy with those.

Recently bought SteamWorld Heist on eshop sale but I'll happily grab a physical copy. One of my favourite Wii U games.

@Tandy255 I've been playing a lot of Rayman Legends recently, and Link a Pix Deluxe. Both good games if you haven't much time to spare.

Octopath Traveler. Bought it on release but put it aside as I wasn't in the right frame of mind to play such a slower paced game at the time.

Have now picked it up again and I'm enjoying a lot more. That'll probably be it as I'm working all weekend.

@Obitokamui64 just reached the sixth kingdom and I think it's very good so far, but not mind-blowing by any means. I think 3D world had tighter game design and was more challenging, but Odyssey has better level design.

I know it's highly regarded, but I wouldn't say it's the best platformer on Switch. Rayman Legends and Shovel Knight are better IMO. I prefer 2D platformers though, so I may be biased.

Also the lack of proper co-op is a real shame.

@crudfish FFIV is great. Played it on PSP years ago and it's still one of my favourite JRPGs. I had the complete collection so got to play Interlude and the After Years too.

Just got Super Mario Odyssey off the wife for valentine's Day so I'm slowly playing through that when I have the chance.

Just started Cadence of Hyrule. I'm not usually in to rogue-like/lite games but I'm enjoying so far. Also my wife just bought Ring Fit Adventure, so I'll try that out if I get the chance.

Digital only and the price means I'll be waiting for at least a 50% off sale.

I'm currently trying to play all the indie titles that have built up on my backlog. Just finished Salt and Sanctuary, Subsurface Circular and both OPUS games in rapid succession. Next is Transistor.

Wind Waker HD as I never got around to playing it on Wii U. Also would like to see Super Mario 3D World.

Played it on Wii U. It's a decent jrpg, although on the Switch it has a lot more competition and may struggle to stand out. Worth a punt if your into the genre but I won't be double dipping on this one.

Just bought Hyper Light Drifter and Blaster Master Zero 2. Also thinking of picking up Lumines Remastered as I've been enjoying a few puzzle games recently.

I picked up a few things off the eshop,

Subsurface Circular, Sparkle Unleashed, Sparkle 2,
Morphite and Cadence of Hyrule.

Also bought Lego World's for my boys who are both getting a Switch Lite for Xmas. It will be their first gaming system, kinda like my Gameboy Pocket back in the day.

Definitely interested in an remastered trilogy for Switch.

I've heard that Cyrus is a poor choice for beginners due to heavy reliance on MP usage early on. However I don't have the game yet so may be misinformed on this point.

Only Octopath Traveller appeals to me there, along with Ys VIII. Will be a quiet summer for me on the gaming front as I have a few things to focus on.

I already have something similar that works for my old Wii U pro controller.

Fast RMX for me.

Apparently this game offers the quickest platinum on PS4. It's also quite bad from what I heard, literally the only people who bought it were die hard trophy hunters.

Releases the same day as Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, do I'll happily wait for reviews and maybe pick it up later.

Mainly Persona 5, and likely a bit of Fire Emblem Heroes which I've started playing this week. Maybe a bit of Fast RMX too.

I'm a UK Switch owner, and only know 2 other owners in person. I showed the Switch to my workmates right after release. They were all impressed but none intended to buy one despite most of them being gamers. Nintendo needs to make a big marketing effort if they want the Switch to hit it's stride in the UK.

@TheMadPolarBear I'd argue that trend started with the GameCube. In my secondary school anyone who openly admitted to owning one was derided. It was the only thing that the PS2/Xbox crowds could agree on.

Well my 2DS Went kaput nearly a year ago so I won't be playing this. It's a shame as it looks worth a go.

Mainly playing Persona 5 at the moment, but if I get a chance I'll play a bit more Pokémon crystal and fast rmx.

Might not get the chance though as it's stocktake weekend in work.

@invictus4000 have you tried the project Octopath Traveller demo? It's well worth a look.

I wasn't sure about it at first. The first character, the knight, seemed a bit generic but later great on me. The second character, the dancer, was far more interesting and the final game will have 8 characters, all with their own story.

Given how uninspired I found the demo to be I'll give this a miss at that price point.

Completely forgot this was coming. Hands down my favourite Pokémon game, and in my opinion a high point that the series has failed to match since.

I might have to borrow the wife's 3ds and relive the old glory days.

So you have to pay for prime, and then pay again for the Pokémon channel? On top of that they can't even have a sensible sequence of seasons, such as 1-10, without a big gap in the middle? Hard pass.

Awful soundtrack. General dull appearance. A solid no for me.

Project Octopath Traveller, Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime 4 were my choices. Also fancy Hyrule Warriors, as I never picked it up on Wii U.

I plan on giving this a go. I've always had an interest in coding, this will hopefully give me the nudge I need.

My two eldest would love these.

@Pigeon so I've heard. I don't have much experience with tactical RPGs so I'm sure it will be interesting. I have heard it's more difficult than a typical final fantasy, time will tell I guess.

I'm currently alternating between FF14 and Valkyria Chronicles 2, so it will be a while before I get into anything else from my backlog.

@Pigeon yeah I know. I actually bought it in a psn sale for the series 25th anniversary. That was five years ago! Since then I've played through 1, 2, 4 (not the after years yet), and 6. Still have 5 and Tactics to go. Along with 9 which I picked up along the way. I can only take so much FF in one go, especially since I play FF14, but I'll get there.

I like the look of these but as I have FF Tactics still unplayed on the PSP I'll give them a miss.

It was a decent direct overall. From a personal perspective there wasn't much to interest me, just the release date for Fe.

But I think most Switch owners will be happy with that.

This basically matches my own feelings on the series. I left it behind after gen 2, only to return for gen 6. It felt very different, I didn't enjoy it but I think that's partly down to how I changed as a gamer in between.

Gen 7, with its z moves and other weirdness didn't appeal to me at all.

Chance would be a fine thing.

I wish I still had the time for the sixteen hour Civilization Revolution binges I did when I was 19 and should have been looking for work.
