Re: Poll: What Do You Think of the Nintendo Switch?

Steelhead

Just got home from work at half passed midnight and soaked up all this Switch info. Overall a very positive impression, I like the name and will almost certainly buy one.

Once the system is about two years old and is worth buying due to the library of games it will have by then.

I remember when this released, first on vita then on Wii U, being on the fence about buying this and eventually forgetting about it.

Definitely buying it on my next pay day now. I know how it feels caring for a newborn with health issues under difficult circumstances.

My problems were miniscule in comparison and short term but I know how even the smallest degree of support can mean the world to you.

I was intending to ignore this one due to its well known brevity, but this review has changed my mind. Now I just have to find time between work and the kids.

I should probably finish Tokyo Mirage Sessions first though, and Odin Sphere. Oh, and Persona 4, Trails in the Sky SC and Tales of the Abyss 3D. Oh, that reminds me, Tales of Zestiria too.

Hmmm, I'll get around to this one eventually.

Re: Hardware Classics: Game Boy Pocket

Steelhead

The transparent game boy pocket was my first console. It still works today, which is something I can't say for my first GBA.

The games I had bundled with it were all rubbish but my brother had a good collection for his classic that he was happy to share with me.

Then this little old thing called Pokemon came along and that was that, Ive been gaming for 20 years and won't stop any time soon.

Re: Nintendo Announces 'Fortissimo' Special Edition of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

@NinjaWaddleDee I had to cut back once my kids came along. I was buying for so many systems, even picking up games for the PlayStation and Game Boy, that my backlog was ludicrous.

It may sound weird but I had so many unplayed games it was slightly depressing. Eventually I just wiped the slate clean. Now I hold back, play maybe half a dozen new titles a year and actually enjoy gaming again, rather than blazing my way through every game for the sake of crossing it off the list.

Already have preorders on New Super Mario Bros U, Tropical Freeze and Windwaker HD from Nintendo store UK. Thankfully will be getting Star Fox Zero for my birthday next month, or this would have been an expensive month.
