Can't you just drop the save the WiiU-crap? Nothing's gonna save the WiiU - it's gonna be a modest seller like the N64 and GC. Most of us who own it, love it - the rest of the world don't care.

Next chance for Nintendo to get a hit is the NX - probably a slightly upgraded WiiU "docking" with a "core" you can bring with you and play on the go - that's my guess. Hopefully supporting the 3DS carts and all your eShop purchases. It might also support some sort of Android to run apps - we'll see.

I think Nintendo won't ever have a big hit if they don't drop the "unique hardware"-approach - make a box that's easy to port PS4 and XB1 games to, otherwise they'll always be a niche developer for the core fans. It's the IPs and high-quality games that sell, not the gimmicky HW.

Anyways, please drop the saving-talk, it's just click-bait and it's getting real old!

@rjejr Well, weren't all those other versions released prior to MS buying Minecraft? We'll see what happens when Minecraft 2 - or whatever they will call the next generation of the game that will come some day - is released.

With a big focus on online, it's a 'no thanks' from me. Also, the main character looks just plain dumb, like a leftover from some really bad 80's B-movie. Might be the intention - haven't read too much about this game - but this just adds to the 'not for me'. And micro-transactions... well, 'no thanks' again. Too bad!

Bad week again, will get DK: Jungle Climber if anything...

Wish the VC games could be cheaper and more frequent.

Of course they don't include how much $ they've earned. Telling the casual gamer that people have spent $15.000.000 on this "free" game is not good publicity. It just shows how not-free the game really is. Revealing how much it has earned Sega doesn't sell the game at all!

Edit: Oh, and for those that don't get it - the $15M was just a number picked out of the air!

I read about this game every now and then and usually check a gameplay-video on YouTube. And I'm always thinking it looks insanely boring... And the usual piss / poo / guts content for cheap 'shock-value'... And the 'religious' stuff - does anybody besides right-wing idiots in the US really care?!?

Another 'Nothing' week! And why is it when they finally start releasing titles from the enormous ocean of DS games, they choose crap like 'Big Brain Academy'?!? I mean, it might be an ok-ish title, but there are like 537 titles to pick before this one!

AND I want 'Mario Vs Donkey Kong' (GBA) on the VC! Oh well, got 'Mini-Land Mayhem' used at GameStop this weekend, will have to do for now...

Another week of nothing, not even some cool VC releases. Tested the Splatoon-demo, but the online bit doesn't interest me - I'll wait for a proper review of the offline part. Kinda tired of Splatoon after all the hype, already feels like an old game.

...aaand this jumped to the #1 spot on the Most Anticipated Games-list!

This is a great little game, really recommend it to platformer fans like me who grew up with the C64 and Amigas!

@Laxeybobby If you watch the video interviews, they're not interested in a publisher - they don't want anyone to come in and make changes to the process. The only thing they'll look at is a possible partner who'll let them do it their way. With these guys' history and love for Nintendo, the day 1 release on Wii U is guaranteed.

What a crap week - long since it's been this bad!

I've played this on PC and frankly expected a score around 8 or 9 here. The price is a bit high, so I'll wait for a sale though. Unless this version is really broken, I think this score is way off as this is a great little game. (Ultratron on WiiU can't come soon enough either!)

Oh, and missing 3D doesn't matter as I never use it - I can never keep the sweet spot during play. (Can't afford a New 3DS XL yet, hope the improved 3D lives up to the hype.)

I'll buy the 3DS version retail so me and my boys can use it on all our various 3DS' (soon 5 - have to get a New3DS XL!).

I'll use the download code for WiiU since we only have one.

I'm a huge DK fan, I'll buy practically anything DK-related. But this thing... never!

I haven't gotten a single amiibo yet as I've got too much Nintendo figurines and stuff already (and my current financial situation doesn't help). I for one want all the cards to unlock outfits, levels and so on...

I have all tables on PS3, but I'm considering starting to get the newer ones on Wii U instead, and gradually re-buy the old ones too. Just wondering, can anyone say if there's any tech difference between PS3 / Wii U - resolution or other?

Even if the Wii U run in a higher res (I don't know if it does), are the gfx really higher res, or just simply upscaled?

I've not bought any amiibos. I'll get the cheap cards when they arrive for the gameplay extras - the figurines themselves are just dust-collectors anyway...

Donkey Kong 64 would surely come before 1080, Sin & Punishment and Pokemon Snap. Also, Mario 64 would be great in 3D. Don't care much for the F-Zero series. I've tried most of them but... no.

But yeah, besides that one, Two Tribes have been pretty solid. And as others have said before, I'll get this and suck at it just for the great gfx. Wish producers could include VERY easy settings in the bullet-hell games as I don't have time to memorize every single level...

So, a point-and-click adventure with "hardcore" 2D shooter levels in-between scenes? Doesn't this seem to have two totally different target-groups which really aren't into the other group? Yeah, I know guys on here and other gaming-sites will "love" it, but I'm thinking more about the mass-appeal. I'll skip this.

@creeprtrainer52 They are repetitive, but not crap! For younger gamers (I've got 2 boys) they are great. And they are also fun for parents to play with their kids. And some, like Lego City on WiiU, are even great fun for adults on their own.

YES!!! Love this game! This is just as "real" a DK game as anything else! Prefer this over ALL the DK Land games on SNES / GB - which haven't dated well at all!

Now just bring us a remastered DK64 3D and I'll be satisfied. The DK / Mini-Mario game for WiiU can't come soon enough either!

Just plug your PC into your TV and you can play ANY Pokemon game on TV through emulators... Or on your PC screen if you don't have TV out.

Also, if I'm gonna put more money into this app, it had better get some export-options like "save to SD" or "mail to..."!
