Never liked the Oddworld games ever since the start, they always felt clunky and not quite polished to me. Besides that, I'm sorry to say there's little point in getting stuff on WiiU that's earlier, cheaper and most likely better on PS4. I want to support the WiiU, but I always feel stupid buying inferior products on it.
@sWiTcHeRoO "@Sligeach "I haven't bought any of the DLC and won't until a reasonably priced season pass is released."
That. Nintendo doesn't do that."
Maybe not titled Season Pass, but they have released economy packs for (nearly) all DLC. Might do a SSB Ultimate Pack or something later now that the DLCs are done.
Most 'Nintendo-players' will get the NX no-matter-what because of Pikmin 4 etc. Ports of WiiU-titles will mostly be to get others who don't already own a WiiU to jump over to Nintendo.
Has anything been confirmed on Download Play for Final Fantasy Explorers?
I want several multiplayer-games for 3DS to play with my two boys, but I always end up not buying the ones without Download Play as 3 copies is a bit extreme for my wallet.
Buy the ones with a strong single-player part though!
Comments here are typical of Nintendo-users and why Nintendo is "cursed". Everyone complain about lack of third-party support, adult games, AAA-titles or whatever. Yet when games arrive once in a while, everyone starts nit-picking and finding their reasons why they won't buy this particular title.
Just face it guys, if you want developers to support your system, you gotta support the developers that do!
I've got a PS4 and I've tried some of the current VR tech - for me it's got a long way to go before I will bother buying it. Maybe on PS5 in 8-10 years time or even later. It's a fun tech experience, but nowhere near where it needs to be to be a mainstream product.
@whitespy12 Thanks for the info, didn't know this about the ambassador games.
Nice to see a comment once in a while from people who knows what they're talking about. Too much kiddies on here spreading rumours and convictions as truths!
Love it when amiibos unlock extras as a bonus for those who buy them. Don't get why people constantly complain about why amiibos don't do anything - then when they do people complain about how you need to buy the amiibo. Just buy it if you want the extras it unlocks, otherwise just keep your cash and get the regular release!
Great!!! Love this series, any release is welcome. Hopefully all characters will be released as Amiibos too! Oh, did I say, I REALLY love the Mini-Mario series!
@Peraa Since when was gaming looked down upon in Norway? Been gaming here for 47 years now and never heard that before. Both FunCom and more "local" games like Flaaklypa etc. have always been praised in the press etc.
Also several schools have game-specific content: NITH in Oslo teaches gamedesign and programming, plus 3D-gfx. Noroff Fagskole has schools in Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand, Stavanger & Trondheim that teaches 3D gamedesign over 2 years, with a third Bachelor year abroad through partners in England, Australia & South-Africa.
@HeroOfCybertron The game will be released in a month or two and is probably mostly finished already, just being polished and and debugged. That the developer says that there's room for more game if there should be a demand is in no way ridiculous, it just shows they have some ideas of stuff that might be added later on.
As a WiiU-owner and NX-gonna-be-owner, I would prefer it if they just dropped the WiiU instead of trying to supply games for WiiU, NX and 3DS. They already have enough problems creating games for 2 systems...
Too bad they just feature games most people already own! At least that's the case for me, nothing to buy even though I want to. Why not a 50% off all VC titles or something like that!
I got the bundle with the amiibo, it's a fun little game... Too bad the sh*tty review here and other places killed it before release. And don't come with the 6 is a decent score! 95% of gamers will go "6? Ok this sucks".
@NintendoFan64 Dude... do you even read before you react? He said Italians (in general) don't like spending money on electronics etc. so they pirate - he therefore predicts a decrease in hardware sales.
He also says his own parents didn't approve of him buying legal games and videos with his own money instead of pirating! How the hell is that defending piracy!?!
The omission of a quality single-player experience is the single reason TriForce Heroes is selling so bad. It's the way most players play on the 3DS. Can't believe Nintendo still do these obvious f*ck-ups!
I might get it if they patch the single-player a bit. Things like instant totem-up with a button-press, non-controlled characters following the player etc. would make me reconsider.
This is day 1 for me! Me and my boys love Nintendo sports games.
Btw, how is it all here keeps rooting for Nintendo and the WiiU, and then each game that comes 90% goes "Nah, I'll skip this one..."? Nintendo-fans gotta be the whiniest gamers around. Either it's "Nothing new - the same old, same old..." or it's "What, they changed it? I want the old one..."
You have to remove the speed from Sonic-games for them to work in 3D. Otherwise you'll not get acceptable control - or worse yet - just him running on auto with minimal user input. There can be some sub-levels or parts in levels with simple high-speed racing based on fast reaction, but not complete levels - it's just no fun for the majority of players...
Speed is also why I never played the Sonic games way back when. I always found them boring with no exploration etc. Sorry, fanbois!
@OorWullie The company is 2 guys, they're working on DLC for Insanity's Blade for Steam etc, they're working on new games... You might have to wait long for a WiiU release...
"In the video game industry, AAA (pronounced "triple A") is a classification term used for games with the highest development budgets and levels of promotion or the highest ratings by a consensus of professional reviewers. A title considered to be AAA is therefore expected to be a high quality game or to be among the year's bestsellers. For a title to remain AAA post-launch, it must be either commercially or critically successful."
According to this, there's alot of Nintendo AAA games.
@CashGunsChaos My thoughts exactly! The difficulty-level in this game was a roller-coaster ride, it felt almost random if you could clear a level or not. I love puzzlers, and really looked forward to this - even pre-ordered - but after testing the demo I said 'no thanks'. Too bad!
Me and my boys loved Dream Team and Sticker Stars, so this is an instant pre-order for me. People complain too much about Nintendo trying new stuff out and just want more of the same old, same old. Just STFU and buy everything from Nintendo - it's all great stuff! Can't wait to get my hands on Tristar Heroes and ZipLash! (/fanboi rant off)
Got March of the Minis already on DS cart so I can play that on the 3DS, otherwise I would get that too. Great games, great series for us arcade-puzzlers!
Really hope this turn out to be false! On this list I'd only get Golden Axe and maybe Streets of Rage 3. Of all the great Sega games out there, this list is really crap (IMHO ).
Skimming through a Top 100 Genesis-list (and not considering copyrights etc.), these would be great:
Well, I'm a veteran platform-player at 46 years and for what it's worth, this looks like a 3DS GOTY-contender to me. Then again, I might just be extremely childish...
@Soren It's a perfectly fitting answer in all cases above, work harder on your English at school!
But kidding aside, he's just saying he's ready and willing to participate in the stuff they're asked about - or however I should explain it, English is not my 1st language.

Will be getting Mario Sports Mix, Pocky & Rocky With Becky & 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Might get STARWHAL later on if there's a discount, looks like a game I'll get bored with quickly.
Also want Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures and Dig Dug II, but the VC titles are a bit pricey. Maybe on a future bad week.
