My router is upstairs and I usually can't connect when docked, with stress on usually. And when I can connect I mostly have one bar sometimes two.
That said I never once got kicked from a splatfest match. I only failed to connect twice at most in the three hours I got to play.
Needless to say I'm a little relieved, but I'm still thinking about getting my wifi extender to work(I updated wifi name and password but the extender didn't update) and wiring up directly to that, but only if that is any better. For all I know it could be a worse solution.

Personal preference though, I hate how the pupils are done. The only way it doesn't look off is staring at it directly in the face. From the side it looks like there is a splinter jammed in the eye :/

Played this back in 2008 while it was still a freeware game. Glad I waited to buy a paid version of in now when it has all the goodies with it, though I'm scared to put the cd in any player.

I haven't played are wrestling game since the 64. Does this series have a create a character and is it any good? If so I might have to buy this game and revive my old character Mighty Cow, some that guy was invincible and I could never make another character that could challenge him.

@manu0 Somebody on twitter pointed out on their jackets is says 101 instead of 100 like in the first game, so I'd say its possible. Plus those famicom joycons!

I'm using an iphone 7 and Sonic CD is working prefect for me. Guess I'm just lucky?

Meh, I'll delete the game in a week because I dislike phone gaming anyway.

I'm gonna get ARMS as well, but I doubt on day 1 because of Disgaea 5.

I'll think about USF2 down the road just to support 3rd party, but I still don't know. Not happy about the price.

I mean, both the wii and wii u got iterations. I just get this feeling it is not coming this time around.

First of all, did they get a dev kit early enough to make a quality port or to release along side the other versions. If it doesn't release along side then I don't think most would wait for the switch version just for a portable COD, and by time it did come out I feel the user base on switch would be too small take make it worth playing online. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

This just made me realize how bad we need a Game&Watch collection on the Switch.

Make it where you can play in HD or in "LCD" mode. That would be great!

The only thing I like about this so far is the style of classic Sonic. Momentum just seems off, like others have said.

To answer your question (since I didn't answer it in my reply above), I think it got patched because it gives players unfair advantage and is considered cheating.

For example: Wave dashing, you make your character slide across the ground for better positioning. It is the equivalent to sliding on ice.
Now try this, while wearing socks jump forward on a tile or hard wood floor. What happens? You slide forward.
In melee you have the ability to air dodge in any direction which is also a fast movement. So if you air dodge into the ground with a character with less friction they should slide. Stopping in their tracks would make no sense.
Now if you jump and air dodge down and into the angle quick enough the character doesn't look like they jump and they just slide in one direction.
So were those physics supposed to be there? Yes
Did the developers expect players to use said physics to create wave dashing? No
Therefore it is meant to be in the game but not meant to be used in that fashion which in turn means it is an "exploit", not a "glitch".

I think everyone is overreacting to this on both sides. This isn't a glitch, but it is an exploit much like wave dashing was in melee. It is just part of the physics that we have learned to bend.
Was it meant to be like this? No
Is it cheating? Not in my opinion
Its not like this was snaking. Fire hopping maybe helped me average one place higher online, but the fact that items are part of the game practically negate this.

I found this while looking for Royal Guard equipment for a side quest. I did a little dance. I need to get out of there though.

@Drummertist I'm extremely careful with my Switch and I got scratches within the first four times of docking and undocking. Warped docks are a thing. The scratches aren't on the display part of the screen so I'm not really upset though.

@RazorThin The screen scratching issue most definitely exists. I've been extremely careful docking and undocking my Switch all 4 or 5 times and it has gotten scratches at the bottom left, but not on the part that actually shows picture so I don't mind.

Away is the only one I'll keep my eye on. The others unfortunately just really look bland and have seen thousands of times.

I'm enjoying the color. The layout is too cluttered for me though (I'll blame it on turning 30 this month ).

@SLIGEACH_EIRE You should try Superman 64, then promptly go buy 1 2 switch (but not the Switch). You'll have so much fun with 1 2 swich in the box than you ever could with superman.

@abbyhitter This is basically why I'm okay with it. I would pay $15 alone for the original story and new dungeon and $5 to have the cave of trials and new hard mode be part of dlc in order to have the game not be delayed or cut the cave or mode entirely.

I'm not so sure about the additional map feature. What would that even be?

I just better not "need" the useful items for anything. I'll wait to get this until I beat the game.

The multiplayer look like a blast. Just like in the past.

Watched the video at work and I got a look when I laughed after an out player hit another in the head. Same with the red bomberman getting stuffed into the ship.

@idrawrobots Yeah, I thought about that after the fact. Almost edited it into my comment. But all online would be a pretty good assumption as well.

I found the Splatoon 2 add interesting. There weren't eight people playing but there were eight inklings. So three scenarios: bots, local plus online together, or (and the most likely) an overlook and there is nothing on the screen.

I'll pass on this. Looks interesting, but not my style of game. I do like how the Switch seems to be attracting a lot of good indie projects though.

This is looking great. I haven't heard of it til now. Aside from its coloration, it looks a lot like Kaa.

Honestly I think these are for the same people that thought the Wii U was an add on to the Wii. Most consumers might not understand they can buy any of these other SD card options, so Nintendo says "Here, you people can buy these memory cards for our system(ignore the price please)."
