@link3710 I'm not disagreeing with you, all the spots I'm looking at (if characters weren't moved) would have to be be small characters, but in each case I can see the other characters being moved slightly to fit a "bigger" character in.

Like I said, I don't honestly believe my theory is correct. I do see it as plausible. I'm just using the context clues I have with the leak of 108. The fact that characters have slightly been moved to fit the new ones support my theory I feel. Do we get five or six more characters with three months to go and one of those months having a direct? I don't think so unless we have three more echos.

@SpaceboyScreams I refuse to say 100% for Geno. I want him in soooooo bad, but I don't want to jinx it.

@link3710 I thought that was the case, I just couldn't find the original banner, and since I'm at work I didn't put that much effort into finding it. I just know duck hunt was moved, but not by a lot.

I feel like my "theory" is still valid since those spots could be opened even more with some shifting but not completely moving the characters to a different side.

after looking at the character banner, I see 5 to 6 spots a character can reasonably be added to due to "empty" spaces. I said reasonably, I don't honestly believe will get 5 to 6 more characters.

But if they were all new characters that could line up to each having their own stage.

Just "beat" Skyrim. Forgot this game was coming out so soon. I guess I know what I'll be buying. Pretty excited for this. I'm a big fan of Cave Story and its characters, so I'm expecting plenty of charm from this game.

If the 'Spirits' thing is correct (sorry, I haven't read the comments so sorry if I'm "stealing" the idea), then I believe that the videos are pointing to that. They seem to be making a pretty big emphasis on the villains vs heros, whether they are playable or a boss, this go around. It might be something similar to what was happening in brawl, except instead of turning people into statues they need their spirits for something a little more sinister.

I loved it. And Dedede's(Sakurai's) troll was great. It actually made me want to watch reaction videos.
Simon and Richter look amazing with their corny walks from their games.
K Rool is just spot on, Sakurai and his team couldn't have represented any better.
Dark Samus is going to be better just because of her roll isn't the crappiest one like the on Samus has.
Chrom... I don't mind there being another FE character, and I understand he was popular... but we didn't need him, Robin, AND Lucina! Not only are the all FE, but they are from the same game (looks at gen one pokemon and ignores). I just wish they would have used an axe user from the more recent game and make them a clone of Ike. But I will live with it, isn't like he ruins the game in the slightest bit.
Now if only Geno can slip in. I even if it is only an assist at this point. RIP Shovel Knight.

MK8 is a really fun game, but there isn't a single track on there I love. Every game in the series has at least one like that, but this one. Sure I have a favorite in the game, but I still feel 'med' about it.

I'd rather get a new game in a year/year and a half. I'm sure they can build on what they already have. MK8 feels great, but I'd rather not just get complacent with it.

Voice actors for assist trophies are listed/credited on there too. Which would be much more likely for their inclusion.

Not gonna lie, thought that was a toilet at first. Watched both of them in action and I gotta say, Bloblobber is my kind of weapon. Very niche on how it works. Throwing bubbles around are going to make me feel like Bub and Bob.

@Yorumi This I don't disagree with. I haven't watch Blackish so I can't comment on that, but I have been watching Dear White People. DWP has a lot of stereotypes of white people, though it also stereo types people of color as well; and it is doing so to prove a point and makes you think about things and have conversations about it. Again, I haven't watched Blackish so I can't comment on it.

Stereotyping other races as negative is racist. Racism isn't a white person thing, it is a human thing. It is wrong. The thing is black people haven't been oppressing white people for hundreds of years and then suddenly acting like everything is okay and it isn't still happening. That is where the difference in outcry is happening.

I'm just saying the show hold out on that episode for awareness reasons isn't moving backwards. Your example is moving backwards, I agree with that, and it needs to be dealt with and everyone must be held to the same standards. By talking about this I think we are trying to progress this, but unfortunately there are sheep on both sides of this that seem like they want to derail things (trolls). I appreciate you and @tguk911 being civil and intelligent with this conversation. I enjoy banter.

@tguk911 I totally agree. We have to talk about these things and speak with our kids to tell the difference, but that is the key thing. As a country we aren't there yet and people refuse to have open minds, even people my own age are still so close minded.

I still think a white person shouldn't where black face paint. Mainly because it was used to be an intentional poor caricature of black people. That can't be undone.

@tguk911 I don't think they are moving backwards. With the racial tensions being so high right now they are making a business decision to no alienate some of their fans, which is a smart decision in my book. Things can be offensive even if it is accidental. I don't see this as moving backwards, I see it as being aware of other people's feelings which is moving forward.

@SmaggTheSmug Slavery might have been abolished 150 years ago (which really isn't that long ago especially in a young country like the US), but its effects are still very visible and are very comparable. They both effect how people live to this day. 60 years ago my grandparents were adults. I don't know how many times I've heard my grandfather use the "n" word.

Is this meant to be racist? %100 percent not, I agree with that. The thing is, "blackface" was a caricature of people of African decent. A caricature the was meant to show them as stupid and goofy looking. It was meant to be offensive and oppressive. Over here "blackface" is a thing you just don't do. By banning the episode in the US they have avoid unwanted negative publicity. The "uproar" on this thread is timid to what it could have been.

The US has a long history of oppressing African Americans; oppression that can still be felt today. Again, I agree this episode isn't meant to be racism, but the connections are there and should be avoided.

I play about 90% docked vs 10% undocked currently. It really depends on what I'm playing and if I'm at the house by myself or not while I'm playing. The only reason it is 10% undocked is because the past few days my wife has been watching shows I don't care for, so I play in portable so I can still spend time with her at the same time. Skyrim doesn't need all my attention to play unlike Splatoon where I'll just hole up in the game room and play on the tv.

I'm definitely still playing Splatoon. Can't wait to use the new bamboozler, even if it is a less mobile set.

@-DG This exactly. Size doesn't matter in this game! Olimar is supposed to be tiny. Look at at Kirby, he is supposed to be 8 inches tall. That means King Dedede is supposed to be around 16 to 20 in tall. Dedede is almost the same hight as Samus in this game, and she is supposed to be just of 6 ft tall. This size complaint is just ridiculous to me for this game. Aside from Dedede, Ridley is a character I wanted in this game for awhile. If you can enlarge a battery sized character, you can shrink down characters too.

I can understand people being put off by him being smaller than other appearances, but saying he doesn't fit in makes no sense. It puts me off to see Olimar so big, but that doesn't mean he doesn't fit.

@ShadJV What incentive? The same incentive as playing a nuzlocke in the first place, difficulty. If you don't use it than you are "cheating" yourself on the difficulty. That being said, making Lets Go difficult will probably be... difficult.

@ShadJV I mean, you could do that, but then it wouldn't be a challenge. Kind of the point of a nuzlocke is to challenge yourself, and to do that you can make up some crazy rules for yourself. Now that we can have more than one file I can have a regular play through going and a nuzlocke at the same time, more incentive to do that.

Can't wait to nuzlocke these games. Make it extra hard (since you'll be able to basically choose each pokemon per route) if Pikachu/Eevee faint you'll lose the whole locke.

Also this is one of my favorite games of all time, so there is that.

I'll throw my hat in the single player being fun ring. The bosses are so creative and fun. I love the level design as far as the play-ability goes, but not really a fan of them all just being floating ledges everywhere though it makes sense design wise.

@Yosher Naw, it isn't Marina. She has been shown talking in some of the trailers as not infected. Also, she shown in her new attire which doesn't match what is in this tweet. Apparently this DJ has been making music in the underground for a while, so the timelines don't seem to match up to be Marina.

@YouSeemFRAZZLED So it is adDRESSED (sorry...) and used as an ongoing joke? I can be forgiving of extreme fan service if it is used as part of a joke and the game doesn't take itself too seriously.

What else makes this game fun? Apparently there is humor, but I want to know what else people enjoy about this game.

Calling it now though. Dillon will mostly be a clone of Sonic, but to make him "not a clone" one of his b moves will be changed to shooting. ;D

@thesilverbrick Take it easy with the overreaction. Even if this turns out to be true, the leak information is still pretty vague. I'd be willing to bet my unborn child the battling system's core is the same with tweaks like every gen/game with the major difference being how the catching system will be changed. Who knows, maybe you'll end up with a future child of mine.

@Anti-Matter and to anyone who thinks this, once you do this you no longer have a mainline game but you now have a spin-off. I understand and agree on wanting to rethink how pokemon works, but you can do that without changing the core of the game. LoZ, Metroid, and Mario did it without changing their identity. LoZ you have ran around, stabbed things, and collected things since the beginning. Metroid you have ran around and pew pew'd things since the beginning. Mario you have ran around and jumped on things (yes these are the cores just simplified for time). Pokemon it is turn based battling. You can make changes to that system, but don't go away from it. There is a competitive scene for this that Nintendo actually embraces that makes them a lot of money. This game actually caters to that competitive scene too. I don't see a drastic change to this. Pokemon is a game of chess, not basketball. The changes need to happen to the overworld and capture system. Just changing those two things up will make a world of difference.

And here I said I was just here to watch.

It does need an overhaul, but the core needs to stay the same with the battling system. Changing pokemon away from turn based battles would be like making Metroid into an endless runner.
