Honestly Persona is right up Nintendo's alley. @Dazzle Actually even if it was streamed it wouldn't be a big issue since you don't have to put inputs in really fast.
Oof this wall of comments This is a similar but not the same situation with one use download codes for the main series games. Yes once you delete a save after using a code you won't be able to use it again however, in the main games you can soft reset before picking the pokemon up or you can soft reset before capturing the pokemon (depends on the event). In Let's Go Mew is automatically placed into your bag, so it's impossible to soft reset for that Mew as far as I can tell. TL;DR (it's not even that long lol) Main games: can soft reset for stat roll Let's Go: can't soft reset for stat roll
Why are people saying, "sticking to my Wii U," when it doesn't really make much sense to buy two of the same game in the first place especially on basically the same hardware? Some people are saying it's more contrast, but honestly it looks more like more saturation. I think this is a perfectly fine port considering the lack of Wii U owners and people who simply missed Bayo 1 on the other consoles. Luckily this port seems to be the same if not better to the Wii U, so there's no advantage to having the original over the Switch. I think I'll eventually get this game, but just not right now.
@gcunit Not going to tell you what you have to play, but rather what you should play. If you're basing XCX as your reason to play XC2, then you're making a huge mistake. If anything you should base off the original, it's significantly better than X and XC2 seems to make up for many of the shortcomings of X. X wasn't a bad game by any means, it just wasn't 100% of what I wanted. XC2 seems to be exactly what I wanted and more.
This might be believable, I finally saw a Switch (more specifically the Splatoon bundle) in a local Walmart that never had a Switch since launch just this past weekend.
@Peach64 The DS essentially had 8 years of production selling 154 million with 4 versions and only two of those versions truly mattered (Original and DSi). The 3DS also had only two versions that actually matter being the original and the New 3DS and containing a total 6 different versions in the 3DS line. The 3DS has currently sold above 68 million systems in 6 1/2 years. In terms of hardware sales it does appear that the system has sold poorly, but put into context, the 3DS has managed to actually survive and thrive through an era where the mobile market has almost been entirely consumed by smartphones and tablets. The DS had no such competition to deal with and on top of that the only other popular portable device was the Gameboy. The DS was a no brainer for anyone interested in mobile gaming at the time however the opposite is the case for today. Almost everyone has a smartphone, which can be easily used to play games on the go, why buy a 3DS when you can just use your phone? Another huge factor is due to the massive support of Pokemon exclusive games throughout the entire lifecycle of the DS. Pokemon is a huge seller for hardware. The system had 9 different versions of Pokemon (including things like diamond and pearl as separate games) where the 3DS currently has 6 and will be getting 8 very soon. I don't expect the 3DS to sell over 75 million by the end of the year as it's currently being overshadowed by the Switch, but the fact that this system saw any success over it's lifespan is representative of Nintendo's success in a very closed market. Tl;dr sure the 3DS has and will sell less than the DS, but due to the times of the DS, the 3DS has demonstrated about an equal amount of success.
Do we know what's actually different about these games? Never played Sun (played Moon) so maybe getting Ultra Sun, but if there's not many differences I may be reluctant to buy it.
@DarthFoxMcCloud Save data has to eventually go to something else because 32 GB is a limit, once that limit is reached it would have to go onto the SD card would it not?
@zyn let me explain to you these games are new and require more resources the consoles we are buying are essentially pcs. Go find a pc or build one for the price of a console. For new games it's unlikely you will reach 1080p60fps. There's some food for thought.
This may be a European system seller; FIFA 18 on the go anyone? Simply a simple prediction. I'm glad to see effort was put into this game, I hope it does well.
@MadAdam81 I think they have counter-sued before and when they do, they almost always win. It's quite funny that people trying to milk money out of Nintendo end up getting money milked out of them.
@onery what kind of red flags, all of this is completely doable with today's technology at a relatively cheap price too (although their price will probably be kinda high).
While the models look pretty good, the game's animations look a little clunky. This is just my opinion, but if you think about it, Smash is pretty fluid in animations for the most part and when you try comparing these games, then you'll see what I'm talking about.
I have actually ordered my Switch this way and it's arriving Sunday. I got a heads up on Nowinstock and it's pretty funny that it's for Prime members only to get the Switch. Despite this fact, you could have easily got the free trial of Prime and ordered it lol. This is great for me since Switches sell out in like literally 3 min. I don't know if and when this sold out but I bought it like 30 min afterwards. Thanks Amazon!
@Yasaal You can only do so much with hardware, for example a N64 cannot and will not ever hit 1080p 60fps. Just because the Switch can produce an image of 1080p and have 60fps, does not mean that it will have that for all games.
