Re: Turns Out That Leaked Nintendo Switch Was Stolen And Illegally Resold

@Untempered-Link (in reply to not knowing details of the system when you say the $300 price tag) you know these are details that we will have at launch day and if you're skeptical of how powerful the system is, don't preorder and wait until more details come out. No one has to steal a system early just so a few people are happy (or sad if they don't like the power)

@KilleyMC original 3ds was $250 but was price cut down to $170 honestly just for a 3D gimmick you end up paying a ton for a relatively weak system and then the new 3ds is $200 ($250 XL) again not a huge improvement in tech but it's still expensive. The Wii U is still $250 and you think the switch is expensive at $300 even though it's more powerful than a Wii U and is portable?

Re: Editorial: The 3D Effect - A Smart 3DS Feature That Struggled to Find Its True Depth

@Bigontino The 3ds has to render 3 screens (this is a fact) top screen requires 2 renders when 3d is enabled which is how the 3d functionality works, and the bottom screen is also rendered. In order for the switch to utilize a 3d feature, it would have to render 2 screens. This is not as taxing on the 3ds as games are not as powerful, but on the switch these games are most likely going to push the limitations of the system so a 3d feature would be like nintendo shooting themselves in the foot.
