Me and most of my family loved Strange Horticulture. I used to live around Cumbria, and it kind of eased the homesickness when I moved away. The gameplay was also surprisingly appealing to me. I really hope my sister gets this game soon, because I really liked the atmosphere it set up, too.
I really liked the first one, but I keep dropping the second one every time I try to play it. I haven't even played enough of it to judge if it's actually worse or not, I just keep getting distracted. Someone in the family will probably buy this, so I'll probably get round to playing 2 and this one at some point.
Awesome game, just finished it today. I wonder if any updates will allow you to zoom out more on the flow chart though, it's so easy to get lost in it. You could already skip repeated battles, so I don't know what that one means.
84 endings or so at this point, and I'm still slightly disappointed with the twins, but that's it. Everything else is great. I feel like they have so much potential, but it's wasted. Hope they do dlc, so that there's more Ima and Kako voice lines, and I hope that people crying about localisation find out that most of what they're complaining about is the exact same sentiment as in the original version, I think.
@Vyacheslav333 @John_Deacon The demo had dual audio, so it would be reasonable to assume that the full game does too. And honestly it would be a deal breaker for me too.
@Jack_Goetz There isn't a European physical edition at the minute, but there might be if you leave it a while.
Does anyone know a cheap place to import stuff from? Which versions of the game have English language support?
And I thought their normal delivery was expensive. The last time I even considered buying from Game, it put me right off. This is honestly disgusting business practice.
Got a cold or something, and the roads round here are closed with snow anyway, so at the very least, I've plenty of time to play video games. Still haven't finished Chaos; Head Noah, despite the fact I've had it for years. I'll probably end up dragged into a couple of matches of Smash Ultimate, or some amount of Mario Kart. Ai: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative is also something I've got to get back to, and I was going to try and play some more complex games in Japanese, and currently, the only ones I can think of with JP text are Danganronpa. I was supposed to be travelling tomorrow, but that's probably delayed.
10/19. In my defence, I was a DS Lite guy (still got the DS Lite release year wrong), and was actually not alive yet when the DS first came out. And I'm not really into a lot of Nintendo's first party output.
Catherine Full Body is really stressful to me, but I played it only on the hardest difficulty, so that's kind of to be expected. The multiplayer is mad worrying, though. The blocks fall away so fast, and even if you try to work together, if you're playing with the wrong people, they might just pull the wrong block away, and then you can watch your hard work disappear down the drain.
I like the new one, but I still prefer the old version. He has awesome hair, an absolutely beautiful shade of blue. Might be one of my favourite character designs in any video game that I've played.
It seems weirdly expensive, I remember buying a box set of some of their other Legend of Zelda manga, of which there were 10, for only £28. I can't remember where, and I know that the price given here is in dollars, but it being some much more expensive for only one more volume seems a bit weird.
Just my main user. 149 hours overall and I've spent 71 hours playing Live A Live. I played 10 games. This reminds me that I need to get back to some games, like RainCode and Tales of Vesperia. I spent 18 hours altogether in Famicom Detective Club. 16 hours in World's End Club. The hours are out of date for Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, I've spent way more than 1 hour in that. Damn, that first percentage is utterly, well, wacky. 47% RPG and most of that must be Live A Live. 24% Action being Hades, No More Heroes, and Mega Man Zero. Narrative Adventure 15% and Adventure 13%, but those are functionally interchangeable. Tales of Vesperia might be RPG or Action, so not sure on that. I'm just confused about Board Game(1%), though. Must be just that Danganronpa dumb thing.
I was hoping for Live A Live spirits for ages, even though it was unlikely. I mean, it's still unlikely, but I'm still hoping. I really love that game.
Live A Live and Mega Man Zero are, at least at the moment, some of my favourite games. But even I would readily admit that they have some weak points. For Live A Live, I'd have to say, I think, The First, for reasons of an awful lot of grinding to 100% it and really annoying voice acting. It's funny, but really irritating. Mega Man Zero is currently really annoying me because the screen is too small, so I can't see where I'm jumping, which is a pain, especially in the missions in the factory. The factory sucks.
It feels like over the years, so many games my family has have gone through the washer and the dryer, but looking back on it, the actual amount is just 2. My copy of a LEGO Ninjago game, which afterwards had a horrible grey groove through the sticker and the cart itself but still worked, and my brother's copy of Pokemon Ultra Sun, which stopped working temporarily, but was otherwise unharmed.
21/25. Me and my siblings used to goof around trying to guess at fighters from random body parts waiting for it to be unpaused, and we all eventually settled on the name "Whose Shoes?" for this. I'm kind of disappointed that I just got the same score as most everyone. I should have done better.
It's not that ugly, and you can still fit it in a pocket, if the pocket was large enough. I wouldn't say it was especially sturdy, though. About 3 out of 6 would break within 8 years, and break badly, in my siblings' experience. 2 of them lost the ability to play cartridges, and another would take 5 minutes to switch on, and that's not even touching on the circle pad. Mine only has a problem with that last one currently, but I'm getting kind of worried about it, as the cartridge slot sounds off. I suppose that's just what happens when you entrust a bunch of youngsters with a console, though.
Wasn't interested in this that much, but seeing more about it, it might be alright. And as someone has already said, the more games set up north, the better.
Switch and 3/DS games go mostly in an under bed storage box sorted by alphabetical order (barring new ones and ones that I like to go back to), Wii and Xbox 360 games just go in various boxes and baskets, I have no physical PS3 games (yet), and Vita games just go in my bag, 'cos I only have 2 physical ones. I think that's it. On a side note, however, I would absolutely love a room to fill up with bookshelves for this and stuff.
Chaos;Head Noah, one of the most expensive impulse buys I've ever given in to, after getting it at about launch because the steelbook looked pretty. I played it back then, but ended up dropping it pretty quickly because I forgot what was going on it after not playing for days. I'm actually kind of enjoying it, more than I thought I would. Might play RainCode, but don't really want to get yelled at by the owner of the console. Also been playing Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls, in English this time, just to platinum it and know exactly what's going on at times. It's terrible, but I actually really like the gameplay.
@Nintendencies That actually makes perfect sense, yeah. I mean, I still don't think that the scents stated above would fit Ryuji, logically it would be something plainer, but on the other hand, they might have Haru's smell about right. I have to say, it isn't a particular interest of mine, speculating on the scents of fictional characters, but it's always mildly amusing when it comes up. I mean, I sell soap, but I don't think, say, "Peppermint, that would suit Yusuke down to the ground". At least, not until now. I think I might have gotten sidetracked here, but yeah. Sorry.
@Nintendencies Yeah, I mean, Ryuji's actually one of my favourite of the party members in P5, but the dude's an athlete. As someone mentioned in another comment, he'd logically smell really bad. Nice profile picture, by the way (even though it's not a picture).
I'm kinda beginning to hate this company, not for any practices to do with the games themselves, but stuff like this? I mean, for one thing, they've done Persona-branded mouthwash. How could anyone think that was a good idea, and who would buy it? As for this one, why choose Ryuji? I feel that almost any of the other Phantom Thieves would be a better choice. I apologise for this unnecessary little rant, I've had a bit of a bad morning.
I'd like to be playing Rain Code, but since that's not going to be possible, I'll probably be playing Persona Q on my 2DS, and Q2 if possible, and trying to platinum my Japanese Vita copy of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. I ought to actually play it in English again, but for one thing, Vita game cases are a pain to get things out of, and some of the voice acting irks me.
@Darthmoogle Right, well, so far the music is top-tier, the visuals are often nice to look at, but it deserves mention that there is a fair amount of pop-in at various moments and the character models can look a bit blurry, the story so far is actually kind of interesting, I've only noticed one slight bit of framerate dropping, and I don't think it was that much anyway. The gameplay is, I don't know if you've played Danganronpa, but many of the aspects are taken from that, with varying amounts of variation, I could probably elaborate later, a fair few qtes though. First chapter isn't so difficult to figure out, so I'm not really sure about difficulty. The game has some weird stuff sometimes. I'm not very far in, so this might not be very helpful in the long run or at all, and for that, I apologise.
Master Detective Archives, but only because it's the only game from this year I've played even a bit of. I'm sure I'll get round to playing some of these this year though, so that won't be the case later, I hope.
Why does NIS America do stuff like this so often? You can't even get Danganronpa games on Vita anymore, no updates or anything. Anyway, might get The Lost Child, but I can't find the other one.
A sequel would be cool, but I doubt it would be as good as the first. Would still be awesome, though. Hope it sells enough, but that's really unlikely.
Neither of these would get me to buy the the game, but the better one, I think, is probably the US/EU one. Even so, the Japanese is, er, a breath of fresh air, design-wise. So weird to see.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax for almost certain. The poll at the top has also reminded me to finish Trials of Mana, play Persona 3 Portable, and buy some Megaman games.
At one point in Spirit Tracks, there was a puzzle, something to do with the line of sight of a statue, or something like that. I was stuck on it for ages, despite having been able to do similar puzzles in many other games. After a while I realised that the lines were supposed to pass each other, but I had just kept ending them about when they intersected. For this instance, I can only assume that Ghostbusters was on the tv. Probably some even worse instances, but they've probably been locked in the deepest section of my mind out of shame.
It's my main console and has been so for years, despite the fact it's actually my sister's, and I think at this point it might be one of my favourite consoles. If at any point there is a OLED Lite model, I'll probably get one for myself. If there isn't one, though, I'll be perfectly happy getting a Lite.
Live A Live still, because it's awesome, Tales of Vesperia, because I supposedly haven't got to the good bits, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, because multiplayer.
