The Pokémon Unite roster is set to expand with a public test website for the game confirming Clefable, Zoroark and Sableye will all be "available to play" in a future update.
There's been no major announcement about these Pokémon just yet, but a dataminer has revealed some of the game's artwork for each of these monsters (below). The same source has also shown off some gameplay footage on social media.

Neat, sableye. I love them.
I don’t play this game, but pretty sure Clefable was announced at the same time as Clefairy, wasn’t it?
It's a bit absurd that after all this time, zoroark is still only the second pokémon from Gen V to be added (while the same batch includes the third Gen III pokémon with sableye).
Sableye is absolutely welcome!
I haven’t played this game and a wile, but it will always be my go to whenever I have that moba itch.
@Bankaj Wheh-heh-heh!
Wonder how Zoroark will work
@BrazillianCara What's the other one? There are so many good choices for gen 5 Pokemon, like Emboar, Samurrott, Haxorus, Hydragon, Volcorona, Reuniclus, Sigilyph, Cryoganal, Cofagrigus, Conkeldurr, Seizmatoad, Scolipede, Escavalier, Bisharp, and I'm sure a few others that I'm not remembering that could all be great picks.
@Markiemania95 yes, Cfef line was revealed officially already due reason that it will be released at October 13/14th and that's very near.
And Zoroark will be second playable 5th Gener in game and become 1 of 2 Gens with least playable Pokémon from being number one.
2 of my favourite Dark-types being added in one fell swoop? Oh hell yeah.
My guess is, like Greedent, they're going to be added for 2022's Halloween event, with one of them being an unlockable. My guess would be Sableye due to being the less popular out of the two (even if I still love him) but we'll just have to wait for an official announcement on that regard.
@alexybubble Believe it or not, for the longest time the only Gen V pokémon in the game has been crustle - that hermit crab with the huge rock block on its back.
Sableye sounds like a fun pick. I know people will love to play as Zoroark.
@BrazillianCara what baffles me about that is that if the pokemon company doesn’t pander to gen 1 fans they usually pander to gen 5 fans. So only two gen 5 mons in unite is surprising.
Gen 2 starters need some love
Only really know Sableye but the wolf fella looks pretty cool as well. Have 28,000 coins saved so I'll probably get one.
Almost finished the grindy quests to get Mew as well.
Unite has a fun base but it feels hollow right now. The way the characters move is very slow with no feeling of momentum, and a battle against another player boils down to who has their moves charged up. It is decently fun though, with its large cast and surprising lack of pay to win elements. Im still not going to give any of my money to Tencent, but I am willing to give my time to the developers who made the game. Im excited for Zoroark to get more love, top tier gen 5 mon.
@Deezy340
I have always said that it is better to separate games from other things (politics, especially), and I know that many have their opinions about, in this case, Tencent games, however, personally, I am not going to deprive myself of playing games that I like them just because the company that owns the game is (insert negative opinions here); simply because of that, I like them and I want to play them, besides that I am not cruel to the workers (developers) who worked for those good games, and if they are good games (without too many problems that prevent their enjoyment), why refuse
As an example, I don't like Microsoft, and I have my reasons, however, games like Forza Horizon and Age of Empires are reasons why my "hatred" of Microsoft shouldn't stop me from playing these great games.
@SakuraHaruka thats fair and perfectly fine, but similarly its also ok for people to do the vice versa and not play a game because of the publisher. I will note that Tencent is far worse than microsoft but im still not shaming anyone.
