Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is barreling towards its global launch on November 18th and we're simply itching to get some more info on Game Freak's latest entry.
Well, the good news is that we're getting a brand new trailer - hooray! Announced by The Pokémon Company via Twitter, the new footage will debut today at 6am PT / 2pm BST / 9pm AWST.
We're definitely excited to see what The Pokémon Company and Nintendo has up their sleeve for this latest glimpse at Scarlet and Violet. Honestly though, we'd quite like to see a bit more restraint regarding new Pokémon species; let us discover it for ourselves! Wiglett will suffice for now.
It'll be a busy day for Nintendo fans in general, with the new Pokémon trailer also arriving mere hours before the debut trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie from Nintendo and Illumination. We're gonna to be eating good, folks!

Trubbish reveal pls
@Type_Trubbish To be fair most of the trailers have been filled with Trubbish.
It makes me a little sad that these are the first Pokemon games I am not excited for. Feels like the end of an era
The evolution of the starters, please.
WE'VE HAD A REVEAL EVERY OTHER WEEK WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THIS POINT

All I want at this point are more Paldean forms and anything but starter evos. Seeing the starters for the very first time ingame with SwSh was absolutely magical and I want that exact same thing to happen again with SV.
@Kiz3000 Firstly, good comment. Secondly, I'm curious as to why you think that? To me, SV look like the most innovative mainline games to date alongside Legends Arceus and I haven't seen anything I would call outright bad so far personally. To each their own though, it's always cool to see different outlooks on the same thing!
@Kiz3000 I know how you feel. Been in that place for several years now ever since generation 6 rolled around and the only pokémon game I actually got excited for ever since was New Pokémon Snap which was a good game.
Oh well. At least we'll always have older games to fall back to if we wanted to.
@Yosher have u tried arceus bro? it's great!
@Fizza Thanks for the reply and not attacking me for not also feeling the love for these games.
I don't think I can put my finger on one thing. I think maybe the formula has just grown stale for me now.
“Honestly though, we'd quite like to see a bit more restraint regarding new Pokémon species; let us discover it for ourselves!”
Nah, reveal them all. We’re only a month away, and I always plan my team in advance, so hopefully there’s a leak or a break in street date somewhere.
@Markiemania95 Well do I have news for you.
I’ve decided to go in as blind as possible from this point, but I’m unsure as to how I’ll visit this site without seeing the new Pokémon in the thumbnails.
Mario movie day? Bold move.
Sounds good, will try and watch it later on the same day.
I’m waiting to see how this is once it’s out. I’m not seeing much more than another sword/shield with this one just yet. Arceus did blow me away and really had hoped it had set a precedent for things to come with added gyms down the line. I really like the starters so far tho.
@rex_rex I've played and beaten the main game of Arceus and while it was interesting, I personally wouldn't call it great. It was good, but too many things bugged me to really call it anything outstanding.
If nothing else, it was a step in the right direction at least.
@Munchlax That's a valid point, thank you! We'll put our heads together and see how best to approach stuff like that.
At this point I just want to know wether or not Arceus catch mechanic are back, this will make or break my interest in the game.
I really hope they're not doing a repeat of the Sun/Moon marketing campaign and revealing too much before the release date.
@Olliemar28 I think a good way of doing it would be to have the thumbnail be a picture of the protags, with the headline detailing the news itself, kind of like this:

(also, I must say I've grown surprisingly attached to how SV's protags look now. I used to really dislike them, but their expressiveness has really won me over to them)
@Kiz3000
You honestly don't deserve to be attacked. I think most of us get it.
I bought Black/White's generation, but wasn't excited for it.
I haven't been enchanted with another game until Arceus. While I'm finally excited for true open world, it's easy in a series like this for each person to feel like the games are stale at different points.
I hope you get re-enchanted with it somewhere down the road.
Actually I want to play my PS4 / PS3 games on that time (6 - 8 pm) but since the Direct will start on 8 pm at my place, I will play something else until 7.30 pm so I have enough time to wait the Direct.
Still waiting for more information, likely reviews, before I even think to try this. And even then I know already it's not going to change the stale formula, so it'll likely be a pass from me.
@Munchlax I kind of want to go in blind, and I think they are revealing too many of the new Pokémon, but I'd rather just watch the trailers than try to avoid info but inevitably see Pokémon in thumbnails. Also, I want to know more about the gameplay
I've skipped the last couple of generations - I think I was just maxed out on Pokémon. Might be a good time to get back on the wagon.
Ok, tomorrow really will be a busy day in news, first with this new Pokemon trailer, next, The reveal of new Need For Speed game of this year and for finish, the teaser of the Super Mario's movie.
Something more?
I gotta hurry up with my Arceus. Imagine playing that with Scarlet/Violet at the same time.. no bueno
Needs a segment dedicated to the trees.
@Anti-Matter “ Actually I want to play my PS4 / PS3 games on that time (6 - 8 pm) but since the Direct will start on 8 pm at my place, I will play something else until 7.30 pm so I have enough time to wait the Direct.”
This is all helpful information. What time will you be having dinner and when is bathroom break? Just super curious.
God I wish they'd do Zelda like this. Can you imagine if they released a trailer for ScarVi in June 2019 and then said nothing about it for two years?! This game was announced in February (with a full trailer mind you, not a 30 second cutscene) and there's been two full trailers and several mini-peeks since then, and it's releasing in November. That's how it should be.
Gonna be a good day for Nintendo fans. Or at least those of us who are both Mario, and Pokèmon fans
