Given that nearly every other publisher seems intent on committing sudoku, Capcom is winning by mostly standing still.
Their "years of constant growth" however, needs to be looked at critically, as it resulted in them rushing the release of two half-baked and poorly optimized games that really let fans down (Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon's Dogma 2).

EU/Japan, because it's so effing cute.
US is nice too but the minimalist choco eyes and beak are just great.

One of the greatest OSTs in history. Super Metroid doesn't need a remake but if they did one in the style of Dread where everything's a bit faster and snappier I wouldn't say no. The slower, deliberate pace and inputs of the original SM does date it a little bit for newcomers.

I'm really hoping they have a good Direct soon because the Switch 2 line-up is bare.

This is my GOTY for the year, I had an absolute blast with it.

I hope the Switch 2 gets updates versions of DOS1 and 2. It would be even more amazing with the mouse controls.

I hope we go back to the pulp-adventure-novel-heroine Lara from the earlier games instead of the "grounded" Lara we got from the latest trilogy.

Has the motion sickness with the FOV been addressed in any of the patches?

No, I played Galaxy 1 on Switch and hated the way they implemented the motion controls so I'm not bothering with this re-release at all.

The robot figure in the cloak is clearly a Link robot.

Any word on whether camera movement and placement has been adjusted for people who got motion sick?

Will this apply if my subscription automatically renews this month? Or do I have to do it manually?

The European art has a great aesthetic.
Completely misses the tone of the game but it gets my vote.

Great Direct, really good dive into the game. I wish more Directs were this in-depth (Metroid Prime 4 please).
But Kirby Air Riders is just a game I have no interest in.

No Oceania participation makes me think there will not be any Oceania servers for the final release, like most MMOs. If this game is as heavily online as I think it will be that's as bummer for Australians.

I'm more worried about the field of view because it seems fairly narrow in DKB and that can cause motion sickness.

Inticreates is consistently good, oftentimes great. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.

@YoshiAngemon I think the point is that this will be a live service game, and they need to test their server network for player load in a live environment.
I almost guarantee they've been doing that kind of in-house testing for a while before this was announced.

@Goat_FromBOTW If you listen to Charles' voice lately he sounds much rougher and deeper. I wouldn't be surprised if he just can't reach the same pitch or have the same vocal range he used to.

I'm hoping for some Dragon's Dogma 2 news, hopefully some DLC. And perhaps a hint that it's coming to the Switch 2.

Jason Schreier being a scumbag is nothing new. He's the epitome of games journalist and I do not mean that in a nice way.

If you can't connect with a character unless they are "representing" you, that speaks volumes about your lack of empathy, not mine for not caring whether a character is or isn't an ism.

Hopefully they patch the horrendous localisation too.

I really prefer if they'd have some kind of way of changing system themes in these rewards. Changing the background of the Home Menu, changing the theme music or the sound font used for system actions, things like that.
Avatars are cool but it could be so much more...
