I change my comment. The sinophobia and ignorance really jumped out in the comment section. Some people either never heard of Quora or only watch CNN/FOX lol.
Well My Switch just broke... Never did anything to it and it just suddenly gave up and won't go past the logo screen - so I guess it's time for me to play some games on my NES classic until I can get my Switch fixed lol.
@Anti-Matter 😂😂😂 Dude even the authentic ones are made in China. You are probably too young to know back in the 60's Japan was notorious for being the world factory and making bootlegs, and us Americans (although we do not want to admit) used to copy stuff from Europe a long LONG time ago. My point is, do not let one side of the story/news/media bias you haha. Everything changes, so you gotta be hopeful and optimistic!
@Bunkerneath @retro_player_22 Then you guys probably haven't seen the video from a few months ago where they used LABO kit to help people in need joy-con-driving their wheelchairs
@BensonUii Ikr. This English title, hopefully, is not the final English title. The Japanese title feels so much prettier: FE 風花雪月(ふうかせつがつ/fuukasetsugatsu). It is a Chinese idiom, referring to beautiful things in nature (風: wind, 花: flower, 雪: snow and 月: the moon) and changing in seasons, which now is more often used when talking about beautiful romances.
What the what is this Three Houses thingy lol??? It's so bad that it is making so many people thinking Nintendo and IS may pull that 3 versions crxp again. (They better not :/)
@NEStalgia ...Are you... are you alright?
Not everything made by Chinese companies is spyware, just like things made by companies from other countries could be spyware, too. Remember that Korean company that collects user info without permissions? And Facebook, who sells users' data for profits? Edward Snowden exposed NSA for spying on American citizens years ago. We do not have privacy anymore no matter where we go and what we do. Sometimes, "privacy" is just a pathetic excuse for one government to discredit another government when both are unethical.
Btw, the social scoring system is very similar to the credit system in the U.S. It is based on how well you pay your bills, and if you have a good score, you enjoy the benefits of skipping deposits when you rent bikes/cars/apartments. The difference is you can check your scores in real time for free without credit karma lol. I've seen so many reports/news blew the whole thing out of proportion and demonized it. It is crazy considering we already implemented it way before they did. But when the Chinese do the same, it is always bad for humanity.
I'm not sure if you are joking or not... Although switch is huge in China atm, I don't think the government cares about how much you play it lol. Switch is popular, but it is not that popular. If what you concern does happen, then they should probably worry about cell phones first haha.
Just like most Pokemon game OSTs, expect a lot of sound effects like opening chests, entering rooms, and finishing cooking. But also expect all boss fight themes, side quests' BGM, all landmarks' themes, etc.
@therealgamer Dude, just because there is no game for you does not mean there's no game for others... My switch game collection is tiny but it still got nine physical games and 5 indies. And I'm having a blast with my switch!
The device just came out last March. Considering finishing one game each month, I think it has enough game selections for many of us.
@GracefulGazelle Law is one thing. People's awareness is another thing tho. I've seen screenshots of Chinese criticizing copyright infringements on their social media, and how others stand with them. Many people, especially original content creators and artists, are not okay with developers spoiling their environment.
It's easy to raise awareness in a small country. Not so much with a 1.4 billion crowd. Info takes a lot longer to spread. The reason behind developers being shameless is that they can still generate profits even when they just copy others' ideas. I've heard (still need to be confirmed) that they haven't updated/raised their punishments for copyright infringements for a long time, so the cost of illegal activities like this is minimum to developers. When people are aware and stop supporting, developers will be forced to create new things on their own, and the law will eventually work better.
@QwertyQwerty This should actually accelerate Nintendo pushing Switch in China. Because while some developers are shameless, most players are not. Most of us want to play original content. But since Nintendo has not had any huge success to publish any console in China, it makes it difficult for players to (1) learn new IPs from Nintendo, (2) call developers out since they don't know any better other than what the greedy developers show them, and (3) actually support the big N.
If Nintendo wants to put a stop to this, just filing lawsuits is not enough. I knew several Chinese kids through exchange programs. Many of them bought switch online through third party sellers to play the actual Splatoon, because they know it exists.
The other thing is, if Sony and MS can publish their consoles and games in China, I don't understand how and why Nintendo is having difficulties. Once they can publish their content there, it would be a lot easier for the government to shut down copycats, too.
Yeah I met one camp several days ago with a personal prison. You have only one tiny chair in this fenced space, and while one animal is sitting in this prison, a bunch of other animals are just clapping their hands and getting all happy and dreamy outside.
She is joking, guys. Look at yourselves for getting triggered so easily when you call her unbelievable for getting "angry" at a mobile AC game lol. She's so much funnier than most of you :/ Not to mention, all her critics are true. What else has this game offered, other than keeping asking the player to spend leaf tickets and build new things? It gets boring really fast.
Disrobing weapons already appeared in FE if/Fates. The NA version just simply cut it out during localization. I was pretty surprised they didn't do the same this time lolol.
@Locke159 your switch is made in china. does it suck in quality? Cuz mine is working great. Heck even good old gamecube is made in china. and I can still play it.
And remember that time when people say all things from Japan is jap crap? lol. Don't just praise the brand when the products are excellent and blame the manufacturer when things don't work. That's double standard.
@jimi The original pokemon on GameBoy had so many bugs (MissingNum for example) that they all became meme. Melee had that wavedashing glitch. N64 Ocarina of Time has a glitch that can give you a swordless Link. ..."I remember there was a time, when Nintendo released games without updates and especially without day 1 updates." Just because they never gave out any update, does not mean those games were perfect. In fact as my programmer friend once said to me: "All programs are wrote by humans, and we all make mistakes. We'll never make a perfect software. But we try to have something that is almost perfect. So instead of ignoring existed problems, we keep tweaking our codes and giving out updates so everything can work better." I'm afraid that your nostalgia goggles are clouding your judgement.
@JaxonH My thoughts on FEW exactly. Such a great game. I'm loving it so much so far. Having much improved AI really made a musou game feeling like a Fire Emblem game.
@grougrou A lot of games in the Japanese e-shop are in multiple languages. Many of them are already supporting Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. ;P Some of them won't show on the purchase screen, but they have language selection options (like Fire Emblem Warriors, you can choose either Japanese, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese in game, although it says Japanese only on its eshop page)
@DrJoson Actually from what I learnt from playing it for some time, magic bosses and archer bosses can be a little difficult to defeat than melee bosses. You can always change units during map preparation and switch who to control during battle, so you can always ensure you are using the weapon triangle properly. However, magic bosses and archer bosses all do great damages and it's hard to get near them since some of their attack abilities will push your units back or even stun you for a lil bit. Maybe it also depends on the difficultly you choose?
Already had my Japanese copy for some time. Currently stuck on one mission lol. Somehow I just couldn't pass it :/ Not sure if I'm not leveled up enough or what.
@Radbot42 Sebby is pretty cool, although he's a little emo at the beginning lol. I think that's why this game is so charming. Everyone is not what they seem to be. They all get a chance to show who they actually are once you build relationships with them.
@Krull I've been play FEW for a week now and it is pretty amazing. Still a lot of strategies going on while you are slashing and smashing. If you only care about your own player unit instead of taking care of everyone on your team, you will definitely have a hard time. I felt like it's a great blend b/w Fire Emblem and Warrior. Not to mention you can also choose classic mode and casual mode, where in classic mode fallen units don't revive, just like in all those classic FE games!
@cfgk24 hahaha I personally own 25+ amiibo and somehow I love people calling them scamiibo lol. Maybe because I have a really wierd sense of humor. I mean, it kinda is, in someway? They don't have a lot of functionalities besides giving you somewhat useful items in a few games, and the rest of the time they just stand there being pretty. (Let's be honest some of them are far from pretty lol Remember those amiibo from the very first production line?) And tbh if they can sell Waluigi's amiibo at 8 USD after discount but still profits from that, then selling the rest of those normal amiibo at 12 is probably a little too much. But why can't I just stop buying them? idk. It's a scam that I am willing to get involved XDDDDD
@Anti-Matter you really don't have to be mean and call people pathetic just because they have a different decision on purchasing a game..... They have their reasons and it's their money after all. SLIGEACH may sounds negative from time to time, but if you follow this site long enough you can see he actually cares about big N very much.
Pikachu just gets slimmer and slimmer. Even its arms are getting longer. It used to look like a chubby rat, but now it is finally looking more like a rabbit.
@Heavyarms55 Well... It IS another Warrior game... so I'm not sure character development will be a thing here. But we won't know until the game comes out.
I played basically every game this developer made lol, and tbh all the games have this really weird sense of humor that I loved. For some puzzles, I have to say it does help you understand the joke if you know more about Asian folktales.

@DarkKirby Actually Lucina is not bad. From many speculations (since her stats weren't shown in the video like Lyn and Ryo), she is a great support unit that both ATK and DEF can probably compete with Ike. A support unit that can also fight on her own - that's pretty amazing.
Also assuming her weapon support and skill can stack (b/c there's no reason to give her a grant +3SPD weapon and a Speed +3 C skill...right?), that means she can give other units +6 SPD, which will make everyone on her team extremely dangerous - even horse emblem team may not be able to compete.
I don't understand why people still say there isn't a lot in this game. Maybe a few months ago this statement is true, but right now there are so many things to try and so many team combinations, skill inheritance possibilities to think of, even trying to complete monthly/daily requests takes some time - not to mention grand hero battles.
