Ok, why make a point of "choose you team wisely because weapon triangle" when there are only two lance users in the game???? Given the roster selection they should've just dropped that system....or kept it and chose a better roster.

A welcomed suprise. I was gonna get this for PS4 but I'll gladly download this on my Switch instead. Game looks great so far and I love all the series included...though RWBY I'm still a little undecided on.

Done deal.

@Captain_Toad thank goodness someone else noticed. This game looks exactly like Virtual On featuring the cast of Touhou. Which on paper sounds like a game I'd throw money at immediately.
The comparisons to Pokken and the like had me confused cuz Virtual On is waaay closer.

Looking forward to picking this up later today. Love DBZ, and unfortunately never got to play Xenoverse 1 or 2 due to continously putting it off. Seems this was the reason all along.
Prob won't get the dlc till a slae though, unless it is cheaper compared to the PS4/Xbone season pass already.

Single player and all dlc on cartridge with multiplayer as a download? Acceptable, I definitely have this on my radar now.

@Alikan Try a different approach friend. My first strategy of fighting them got me killed too. No reason to give up on it.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE What small margin of games do you even play dude. This game is a great call back to the original Final Fantasys and Romancing SaGa. I highly doubt I need to explain to you that those were "big" games that were well recieved. Romancing SaGa has done the "same world from X amount of characters point of view" and done it well so that each character story feels unique.

If this isn't your kind of game ok, cool. Just say that. But this appeals to a significant margin of rpg fans, and comparing it to something like KH does nothing than sound childish. After playing the demo I am certain this game will be a hit, and it really seems no one in here cares for your usual brand of pessimism.

First off, great article. Definitely some good insight here, rather than just bandwagon jumping.

As far as the tax goes, eh. Like if I really think a Switch game costs too much i will wait for a sale. For example, I am getting Xenoverse 2 on Switch. Because I don't think $50 is asking too much. But I won't be buying any of the dlc until I see a sale. Which really isn't any different to how I treat my ps4 collection; buy what I really want day 1 and anything else waits for a sale.

And on the topic of storage, I do wish Switch would have come with more internal. I waited for a PS4 until the larger internal space was more affordable, but the Switch I didn't mind as much because it is my ideal gaming device. Something I can play some good games on at home and then continue playing them when I visit friends.
Fun console + Fun handheld = Worth it. I think Nintendo made a good choice with this, though I will say I wish they would take the "Switch tax" upon themselves. But that's asking too much I figure.

@Al_Godoy I love the original on N3DS, I definitely recommend playing that if you don't have access to the Wii one.

FINALLY. Now just announce One Piece Pirate Colosseum with the cross multiplayer with Extreme Butouden for NA and my year will be made.

Each day hoping for a "Dragon Ball Fusion announced for NA". I just want to try it guys, come on. The idea behind it is really interesting and i have never played a game with that playstyle.

I feel so impatient waiting on Apocolypse. My only problem with IV was the map and even though I love the 2d animations I wish there was something more to them.
This game seems to be fixing both of those.

Definitely getting this. Had no one to play 4 Ultimate with so hopefully this'll go better. Also, super excited to get into those new mechanics.

No more dlc (good lord please no more old characters), let Sakurai rest and really think about where the series could go next. I'd be totally satisfied if he decided not to make a sequel, this is an ideal ending.

I didn't even consider voting her for the ballots but i am so happy to see her win.
I don't see how anybody wouldn't be excited to get her, she's really unique and brings a different playstyle to smash. All the haters on the web need to learn to appreciate good work.

Definitely not what I expected bit think it's gonna be a large scale, creative adventure. Hope we at least get it localised with subs.

Still watching this. I backed the kickstarter when I learned they planned to get it to Wii U. Hope they don't disappoint.

Aside from being happy to see Ninten doing well, I really like what NintendoLife has done here. I'm pretty sure more than a few people here didn't know anything about SRW BX and now that they've had some exposure they're interested.
I've always wanted to get a couple SRW games localized, so hopefully that'll happen in the near future.

But wait...did I miss when they said the regular sized ones will be out in NA?

I feel sorry for Nintendo. While yes they do seem to have an issue with giving fans exactly what they ask for, they also have the issue of having to deliver to an extremely ungrateful market of consumers.

Nintendo is giving us games that look like they will be a fun experience, though a few do look rather lackluster. People are just too caught up in what they asked for to appreciate what they are being given. It's like everyone asked for cake, but Nintendo's cake isn't ready, so they gave us cupcakes.

@ouroborous this, this comment is exactly why this practice is crap. It's an endless cycle of "no one will buy the special edition on wii u" - "well the special edition isn't on wii u so I guess I have to get it on something else."

I was really hyped for Megaman, then I saw some actually people using him and got a tad disappointed by how slow his attacks. BUT THEN ROBIN GOT ANNOUNCED. So hyped to play the mighty tactician.

@Kamalisk Dude, your opinion is pretty far off the mark. Unless you meant Lucina and not Robin.
Robin is more of a magic user than a swordsman, does not have blue hair, and actually comes as a pretty nice surprise. That last part was just my personal opinion but regardless, if you can't tell Robin apart from Marth then you may need to see a doctor.

This is definitely a mixed bag, and I'm not referring to the opinions.
On one hand we know Nintendo has issues, that's undeniable. Sony and Microsoft have their own as well though many people seem like act like they don't exist.
But on the other hand there seems to be a lot of biased whining against Ninten. They have made themselves open to people working with them, as we have seen, and they have made the people aware of their indie support. Could it be better, of course, but I don't think it's bad either.

I'll be hopeful for a localization. I love 3 of the Tales games I've played so my fandom level is just high enough for a crossover. I'm sad about not getting Tales of Symphony HD on Wii U and even sadder about not getting Tales of Heart R period, so hopefully Namco won't make me sad yet again.

I would really have put this at a 6. The backgrounds are quite bland, but the game is good. Maybe I'm just a Metroidvania fanatic but I'm happy I got this instead of caving and buying crappy Mirror of Fate.
