Re: Fans Petition Nintendo To Name Zelda NPC After Deceased Singer Christina Grimmie

@BranJ0 It is not a nice gesture to demand of somebody to pay tribute to a victim of a tragedy by what is basically popular vote. Imagine somebody asked that Gamefreak name 50 new Pokemon in Sun and Moon after the other tragedy's victims. If they want to pay tribute by doing something suitable in-game, they will do it themselves. Instead of making demands on others, pay tribute to her by contributing to some fitting charity.

I like the multiple islands thing they have going there. I hope there are still some water routes with diving, so you could get from one island to another without ferry. I do like them in moderation (and maybe if there weren't encounters everywhere). I'd love exploring some crazy underwater caverns. :3

With multiple islands being a thing, who knows. Maybe we will get some DLC later with new islands and new story episodes, like the Delta episode or Looker missions in XY. Or maybe an island with Battle Frontier/PWT on it? I'd want all of that even without it being DLC of course

Also, predicting the mysterious assistant to be a Pokemon in disguise because reasons.

@Wexter I agree, whining, conspiracies and boycotts won't solve anything. But I also think the truth is somewhere in the middle, as I don't think that having to import games and learn foreign language, without voicing your opinion in a constructive manner will help anything either, as that is something only a small margin of people are willing to actually do. To me, supporting localized games with content which publishers consider inappropriate for the west seems to me like the best "vote with your money" way to go about it for now.

@Wexter I'm not against modifying games in localization (for example changing names or ages of characters, cultural translation of jokes and references, nice looking "censored" versions of stupid looking "sexy" costumes), but something being done in a certain way in the past doesn't mean it couldn't be improved now. Wanting to have all the content Japan has, just localized is not much to ask.

Huh, Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 had hot spring DLC no problem, which with Chloe's design would seem more inappropriate. So, is it because EO is more niche, or because of Nintendo's involvement?

Weird localization aside, I'd love to try this game. But I don't own a home console. If I there's an Atlus game for which I were to buy one, that would be Persona 5... Damn exclusivity.

So, is that all of the SNES VC games on 3ds? I'll just dream about translations of old Fire Emblem games then, right here in the corner. It'd be nice to know what was the deal with the myriads of characters in Awakening's DLC

@Spoony_Tech Yeah, I also loved the overworld + smaller separate dungeons in IV. As much as I love that game though, prefer the large choice of classes in Untold 2 - my favorite in the series right now. I also like the Cafe from Untold 2 much more than the food system in IV, which i barely even used since you had to go search for new food every trip. + Some subtle touches like Take/Chop/Mine map icons changing depending whether they were depleted or not, better auto-route drawing, etc...
