When I came across the fact that I was unable to buy certain games on the PSN eshop, I also thought it should be criminal I guess it's only a problem when a big country can't get a game at a smaller country's price. not when a publisher decides to ignore a smaller country altogether.

@thedicemaster Yeah, thanks for clarifying. I did google about it on my own for a bit and toned down my comment when I found out it's chiefly the fault of the cheap 3rd party charger companies. I still think that an expensive device should have some kind of safeguard against high voltage though.

@SmaggTheSmug Yeah, but there should probably be some safety feature if you're using a standard port. Unless you want a state where either people buy your overpriced first party equipment or you totally destroy their expensive device as a warning to others who don't comply.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Why exactly should people care about a dead console losing exclusivity to a game? The ports usually aren't handled by the main development teams, they won't slow down the arrival of SMT5.

With so many great games coming out 2017 that I still have yet to play, it is probably a great sign of quality from YCG that I still plan to find some time to play DLC of their pixel art platformer somewhere down the line.

@JaxonH Whoa, that many? What do you own and recommend? I own a lot of the NISA games (the company that makes it more worth it to own the system than Sony, hehe. P4G, P4DAN, Disgaea 3+4, Danganronpa 1+2, Trails of Cold Steel, Ys, Odin Sphere, Demon Gaze, Grand Kingdom, SiSC), the Zero Escape series and Steins Gate, and that is like 18 games. Still, with a 4GB memory card, it's all mostly physical in my case too.

@Ernest_The_Crab According to Wikipedia, the short story it's from was included with Gyo, but is unrelated, so yes and no.

I was skeptical towards amiibos at first. Then I started to customize/nerdify my living environment a bit and suddenly I realized some of these figures look pretty cool. Any other functionality is a bonus, even if I'd prefer for it to be just some tiny insignificant bonuses. Something you'll say "That's pretty cool" if you have it, but don't really miss if you don't.

I like how these two look, maybe I'll try to get them. I'd like to know if Shadows of Valentia is any good first, though... Read somewhere that the map design in the original wasn't that great.

I'd like the return of cel shaded toon Link in their new 2D Zelda. No recycled map from previous games and gimmicks like trains. And while we're at it, resurrect Vaati. Minish Cap was pretty great.

@Barnacle That was an attempt at a jest. It somehow felt like the appropriate equipment. Afaik there are not really arcades where I'm from but it's not really something to be "surprised" about.

Do the Japanese play these games in arcades? Do these arcade machines come with a little cabinet and a windscreen wiper attached to the screen?

@MarcelRguez I don't think it's entirely fair to just add those votes. If I wanted to vote for Ike, I would vote for all versions of him to make sure the one with most votes gets my vote.

I wonder if you have to pay both this fee and the Pokemon Bank fee to use Pokemon Bank on Switch. It could hypothetically become a "free" service, since all online is paid by default, but somehow I don't entirely believe it.
