I really miss when event Pokemon had actual EVENTS that happened. Really tired of TPC just handing out rare Pokemon like candy. Darkai's Newmoon island event was so cool back in the day. Actually having to catch the thing was so much fun! Why not just spawn a Darkrai that appears near the ghost-type gym town? Make players look for it and catch it? Would be more fun than just getting it for nothing.

Gonna pick up Sonic first because I just prefer 2D Sonic over 2D Mario, but I'll gladly play Mario over the holidays. Also still playing Baldur's Gate 3, so we shall see how that goes.

Really fun little platformer! Excellent music as well. I played it on Steam this year.

@ModdedInkling To be honest, I think the bias will be towards Zelda and Starfield if anything. Those games are more accepting to the average consumer.

For the people immediately dismissing this game because it's top down, it's not. You can change the camera to be behind your back, and then top down like Fire Emblem when you get into combat. I've tried Larian's previous game Divinity Original Sin 2, and I didn't like it. This game though, the sheer amount of possibilities is just staggering. I'd say, that the top down perspective really doesn't matter. If what you enjoy in games are great, interactive stories, and amazing turn based SRPG combat, then please try this out.

Absolutely deserved. This game is amazing and one of the best games I've played in a long time.

I'm done with the Pokemon franchise until they can release a finished game the FIRST TIME.

Will my love of Shrek lead me to purchase this game? We shall see.

Would prefer Sub Zero, but I'd gladly take either. More interesting than Tekken man and Terry.

Personally I like 2D Sonic gameplay more than 2D Mario. However I can't deny that Mario Wonder will absolutely be the better game. However, if this happens I'll probably get Sonic first and then save Mario as an awesome Christmas game. For regular people though, Sega should probably consider delaying the game to November if this is true.

Would rather Dreamworks make a good Zelda movie. Illumination is better at comedies and more whimsical movies. Zelda should be more story focused, and I think Dreamworks fits that better. They've made great stories with Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Puss in Boots, and especially How to Train Your Dragon. Are these movies perfect? No. But I think they'd do better than Illumination in Zelda's case. Plus Universal owns them too.

Still need to get this game. It's been on my wishlist for a while.

Really hoping this gets split screen multiplayer like Pikmin 3 Deluxe. We had a blast with that.

@FirstEmperor lol, believe me I'm not begging for ports. I still buy and play nintendo hardware. I'm just spit balling an idea for how Nintendo could POSSIBLY combat PC pirates.

Nintendo, just let us BUY the games then! Take those roms, sell them for 20 dollars a pop on the eshop, and people will buy them! Or, better yet. Make a PC launcher for your old games. This won't stop all pirating, but it will CERTAINLY eliminate a good amount of it.

@Wexter Yeah I totally understand that. I myself would never want to pirate a modern game that's still being sold, but I know there are those that do.

Imagine how much money Nintendo would be making if they actually worked WITH emulator developers and sold their own Roms on Steam or their own launcher. Now, they need to be priced reasonably for 20+ year old games, but still.

Guys, again it has to be said. Nintendo has re-released exactly 2 gamecube games on the Switch. Mario Sunshine, which is no longer available, and Metroid Prime Remastered. If their plan for gamecube preservation are remasters, then so be it. However, there are MANY more gamecube games that are not available on ANY modern Nintendo consoles right now. Nintendo is doing nothing about this. That's all I have to say.

@Ralizah Actually, that IS what I wanted lol. Maybe I'll trade in some games I don't really like in case I don't like it, but that sounds pretty good to me.

Trying to decide if I should get this. Only played the first game for 20 hours because I disliked the shrines. From what I read, this game is better but doesn't fix any of the issues I had with the first game.

@stinkyx you don't need to shell out hundreds. Buy singles on tcgplayer or other reseller sites. I built a competitive meta deck for 40 bucks.

Okay then, this will FINALLY be a worthwhile upgrade. This may actually be the greatest classic Sonic collection ever made if this happens. Wish they included Sonic the Fighters and Sonic R though from Gems Collection.

Wish I would have finished the first game, but the lack of an English dub really out me off after a few hours.

I'll be done with Pokemon if this happens. Already close to it with how bad their games have been.

@Wexter I know how set rotation works. I just want an expanded format is all. Even just a casual way to battle ai teams with my old pokemon.

Pokemon needs a separate online battler that connects to home. I'm sick of not being able to use my pokemon with every new game that comes out.

Only thing I want to see is Emerald on the eshop to buy, that's it. Oh, and with Home compatibility. Although I'm sure they'll just do the same old Red and Blue.

@RupeeClock Love how the footage is mostly all the games up until the 3ds. They know what us nerds want.

Looks.... fine? Can't say this gameplay excited me that much. Just more of the original. Also dang I really want nintendo to move onto Switch 2 soon. These graphics are getting very muddy. Probably won't pick this up at launch.

I actually would like to play this, but if it comes out in March I'll be playing like 3 other things.

Personally I'd like a PC port as well to make the game a bit more timeless, and not just limited to the switch.
