I don't like the sound of that "summoning characters from the past" thing. Hopefully that's not a main mechanic or part of the story. Usually stories suffer when crossover stuff is involved.

The cartridges wouldn't be different. Just sounds like the game will randomize stuff when it boots up for the first time.

I think there could have been a better way that "mammalians" could have been done besides just taking the octolings and making their tentacles furry. Maybe give them real people hair mixed with octopus tentacles or something.

This sounds okay. I loved the original, but dont know if I need to pay 60 dollars for it again. After playing the online test thing I'm glad I'm not getting it day one. Would rather save the money for Fire Emblem 3 Hopes.

Not sure why Nintendo Life didn't mention this in their review. You need to UNLOCK multiplayer to play it, which involves beating the whole game in singleplayer first.

The only lack of diversity I see is skin color. Sexual orientation literally does not matter in a game like Mario.

I don't really need a story mode, but this better have some singleplayer cups we can work through like in the originals.

I have this on steam. It's.... okay. Not as good as Vanillaware's finest, but it's servicable.

Was hoping it could get to 5 million. I do think the difficulty may have turned quite a few nintendo fans away. Still one of the best and most polished games I've ever played.

If we get a sequel to this, before a sequel to ARMS, I'll be mad.

It'll also carry over the same exact game for the third time as well.

@BloodNinja I'm honestly so tired of thst artstyle. The only FF game that ever appealed to me was 7, and even then I don't love every design.

It's very evident Square Enix don't care about the art of games with how often they churn out Final Fantasy games.

I also wanna say, after the zero build mode was added, Fortnite is now one of my favorite online multiplayer games. I know people lol about it and make memes, but it is genuinely very fun, especially with friends. Plus unlike most games, it has cross play and progression. So I can play it across PC and Switch. Just played a game tonight with friends. 2 people on PC, 1 on PS4, and 1 on Xbox.

Gamecube and Wii games NEED to at least be on the eshop for purchase and download. They are too big to just be a part of an app.

Where can I preorder the physical release?

I actually think Ninja Hideaway is a brand new track, not from Mario Kart Tour. If you look it at on the grand prix screen, it doesn't say it's from anything.

The only thing that stinks is no new characters. Would have been cool to get some of the skins and new characters from Tour.

@Dremp I forgot how cringe the main menu song was. I immediately looked for a way to turn it off, but there wasn't any. There's no way I'm playing this locally with people if that song plays.

I played an hour. The controls in this feel terrible and drifting sucks. Also it got repetitive after an hour with barely any tracks.

Glad to see there are difficulty modes in this one!
