The first game was cool, but I found the story to be kind of dumb and poorly written. I may pick this up on sale.

Every time I see these huge uninspired marketing things by the pokemon company I get depressed. I just want a game that isn't awful.

As someone who played Splatoon 1 at launch, I was not impressed with 2 in the slightest. Barely any changes, and the amount of modes and maps were abysmal. It was also a major pain to play with friends, and salmon run was incredibly half baked. I won't be getting 3 at all unless there's some big changes coming to it.

@larryisanassman Yep, we basically just played that, and Monkey Target. So its a deal breaker if that mode isn't in here. It wasn't in bannana blitz or the HD remake, so I'm not optimistic about it.

If this game doesn't let you play the main stages with other people like the previous games, I'm not getting it.

Not gonna lie. When I saw Nigel Thornberry was playable I got excited. Probably not going to play this on Switch though, because I'm sure the framerates will be lower.

The great and game-hungry install base of the Switch, plus Metroid NOT releasing at the end of the console cycle, is what's selling this game. And that's fantastic! Now hopefully Prime 4 will be a launch title for Switch 2 like Zelda was for Switch. Have it be cross gen.

I could care less about any cloud games. Subscription cloud games are fine with me. But I'm not spending full price on one.
