Instead, pokemon spends a lot on products and collaborations with other companies instead of enhancing their own games. Something like adding voice acting for instance, is a quality of life feature they have never added.

Whatever it is will be a completely meaningless cash grab and will be a demonstration of the enormous amount of money that TPC wastes on side projects instead of making their own games higher quality. But the fans will surely eat it up as always. Maybe I shouldn't have left this comment, because I'm sure no one cares and it's been said so many times before. Oh well, at least this is a nice place to vent.

This is them just asking if we want to buy key cards or digital, how about the option of, WE WANT FULL GAMES ON CART.

All we want is offline MODES. The Splatoon games for example, still have features thet let you play them offline. Monster Hunter also supports solo and local wireless hunts. We just don't want things that are online only.

Nah. Developers should have to include am offline mode for multiplayer, just like the days of xbox 360 and ps3. Always online is BS.

Wonder if this will be a remake where playing the original will be worth it, ala FF7, or if this will just be a nice HD upgrade. I've wanted to play IX for a while, but didn't know whether to wait for the remake or not.

I think there are a lot of reasons for this. Game Key cards, older games on other platforms, and the expense of the console and Mario kart itself. The appeal of these games being portable is also lost with the advent of portable PC consoles. I know that in my case at least, I'll just buy every third part game on PC anyway if they are just going to be game key cards.

How expensive did Nintendo make these cartridges that companies don't want to use them!?

Not trying to defend the corporations, but gamers act like they NEED the games to survive. If you don't like it, don't buy it. That's the only way to send a message. Otherwise, shut up. I'm just going to buy less games if they're 80 bucks. Simple as that.

@Vyacheslav333 It's why I now only buy exclusives on Nintendo. I used to buy literally everything on Switch. Not anymore though. Why would I want to have all my games stuck on a closed system? On PC I can have my games on any hardware I want.

Not gonna lie. Every single bit of news released lately makes me less and less excited to buy a new Nintendo console.

@SirAileron I agree with everything you just said. I used to buy everything on the switch. But after discovering the freedom of PC Gaming, I'm pretty much going to only getting first party games on Switch 2. It's a shame, but the price gouging really sucks.

The prices are indeed insulting for what the system offers. I don't even think 70 is appropriate for essentially ps4 games. I suppose the US tariffs have something to do with this though.

Please just let me order it without having to take off work.

I agree wholeheartedly. Why limit easy mode to a dumb character like Nabbit? Not that I hate the guy or anything lol. But kids don't know or care about Nabbit's relevance in Mario Bros U.

I will FORE SURE be getting MCC on Switch, simply for the split screen goodness.

I really hope this doesn't end in Sega not using them anymore. I've loved the resurgence of Crush 40 and rock music in Sonic Games again. Lost World to Forces was a dark time for modern sonic fans.

The mental age thing is pretty silly. The real reason for no female protag is that most of their audience is male, and they don't feel like doing the extra work of making a female protagonist in addition to a male one. I personally disagree with this approach, but it is what it is.

@GamingFan4Lyf I switched to PC and Switch only this gen, and basically everything has been replaced due to just how many games are on PC now. Plus I got the Steam Deck, so now even the Switch is only being played for exclusives. I actually have my PC hooked up to my TV with Steam Big Picture, so it's closer to the console experience.

Why isn't this just an animated movie?

I played the demo for this on PC and loved it, so I'll be getting it there due to the increased performance. This game needs to be played at a stable 60 due to its platformer nature. Reminds me of a cross between Sonic, Ratchet, and God of War.

These are definitely not my favorite. Would have been better if they just used the iconic minifigure design.

These are cute, but I am so sick of gen 1. The only pokemon I ever see are pikachu, the Kanto starters, Charizard (not venusaur or blastoise), eevee, Jigglypuff, and Gengar. Those are the only pokemon in the US that seem to get merch.

It's on my radar, but I wasn't too thrilled with the showing. I'm honestly just burnt out of games about highschoolers lol. It's why I skipped P3 Reload despite liking P5. That probably sounds dumb, I just dont care as much about that setting any longer. Just not for me anymore I guess. Still on my radar though, I'll see how it reviews.

Honestly just port HGSS to switch. Don't even try to do a new gen 2 remake.

Gen 2 and 3 on switch eshop is all I would care about at this point. Don't care what else they do because it will he awful either way. Let's Go Johto which us rumored, is not want I'd want for another gen 2 remake.

Loved ys 8, but didn't really gel with 9 and stopped after a few hours. Loving the look of this one though, so we will see.

Nah Palworld is fine. Pokemon fans actually need to worry about the quality of their own game first.

But you have to admit... just the concept alone for foamstars wouldn't exist without splatoon.

Another new failed side project? I'm all for Game Freak branching out. But they need to just hand pokemon over to Bandai Namco or something.

Pokemon needs to just ditch open world. They can't do it. I'd love if they went back to maybe just slightly bigger routes, and with more cel shaded graphics.

I would absolutely pay for a Samus skin.
