We really didn't need another game this year. It looks okay though.

@JasmineDragon As someone who's literally just an FF6 and FF7 fan, I don't really care about the other characters. So the fact that I'm basically forced to grind out the game to get Cloud doesn't make me happy.

I was gonna get this day one, but after the BP shenanigans, I'm good.

@Don on the pokeleaks subreddit. It's probably fake though. It's not a re-release of the old ones, but a Stadium 3 type game that integrates with pokemon home. It gives the competitive scene more to do so that the main games can be innovative.

@KBuckley27 Well, nevermind then I guess lol. Only thing I would be interested in is the rumored Pokemon Stadium linked to Home, ports, or a new game. Although I'd prefer ports or the Pokemon Stadium, because if a new game isn't like Legends Arceus, then I'm out probably.

So basically I shouldn't care until 2/27.

Imagine if nintendo had a dedicated VC app where you could purchase their whole back catalog. That or put their games on steam.

If the seasons stayed and could be completed whenever, then I would be fine with this. But if it's like Fortnite where I have to grind to level 107 and I have to play every day to do it, then I'm out.

I played this on steam last year. Great game for those who like 3d platformers and speed running.

I don't build at all and I can still win. You just have to out play the builders. Having grenades or firefly jars on hand helps a lot.

Okay now bring over aaaallll the other Vanillaware games to switch. I'd settle for even a PC release. Just save them from Playstation hell.

@Crono1973 Thats... not it. It's because there are two pokemon games coming out so close to each other. 2 months is not a long time for casual gamers. And yes, I know Arceus is going to be "different". But it still is another pokemon themed jrpg.

I think a decent amount of people also may have skipped this game in favor of Arceus next year.

I wouldn't ever call an individual developer lazy. But a studio or publisher? Definitely. Many of the decisions Nintendo makes for example, I would call lazy. Or if not lazy, then sloppy.
