Hyrule expansion when? I will say when the world finally gets its act together this will be a fun place to visit.

If only they would release a Zelda, and a Pokemon expansion. It would be a dream come true.

I hope this goes well and they expand to other non-Mario tangential IPs too. I mean everyone wants Hyrule castle, but some kind of Pikmin land where you feel tiny, an Animal Crossing area for relaxing and grabbing a Brewsters, a Splatoon area and rides! There's so much they could do!

Donkey Kong is confirmed as in the movie...Donkey Kong is now in the theme park...surely that all but confirms a Donkey Kong game is coming soon?!

If it's the Mario team developing the Donkey Kong game, what if it was a Donkey Kong + Mario + Bowser game to tie in with the movie and theme park?

I hope we do not have to wait until 2024 for another DK game. Man... been a DK fan can be rough in modern times. Now you have to wait a decade for something new from the ape.

Ok I'll postpone my Japan trip till then. Or should I wait and go to the Orlando one in 2028?

If this doesn't have a Mine Cart Madness roller coaster, I'm going to short Nintendo and Universal, and probably find a team of lawyers for a class action lawsuit on behalf of DKC fans everywhere.

I was thinking the exact same thing. 2nd Half 2023 seems the most likely to me for a new DK game. It's obvious that everything Retro Studios was doing prior to Prime 4 has been scrapped and 2022 is already jam packed. We're closing in on a decade since Tropical Freeze was first released.

The last time Universal and Nintendo made headlines over Donkey Kong, it's when Universal was trying to sue Nintendo over him. This seems like a great way to bury the hatchet.

My main takeaway between this and Donkey Kong apparently being in the Mario movie is that they're almost certainly going to release a new Donkey Kong game relatively soon to go along with them.

I know this isn't in the cards, and I'm not even a particular fan of this game, but... A wild, high speed roller coaster based on F-Zero would be cool. But we all know Nintendo will never throw a bone to fans of that franchise.
