Three Kirby amiibo Appear To Be Getting Reprints (North America)

Ah yes, Kirby, Dedede, Metaknight, and Byleth...

Wait...

the Kirby and Metaknight amiibo getting reprints probably has to do with Kirby and The Forgotten Land coming soon and both Kirby and Metaknight are in the game and will play some role.

I don't know why Byleth is getting a reprint though. Maybe we will get a female Byleth amiibo (hopefully but I seriously doubt it)

Call it a tinfoil hat theory, but it's possible a new Fire Emblem is coming soon which explains the Byleth reprint. If I had to venture a guess, it's probably an FE4 remake.

@JR150 well maybe but I do hope the new FE is either like another standalone game (like not a sequel to 3 Houses) or maybe a remake of an older game would be nice

@Liam_Doolan I noticed that the Cloud and Bayo amiibo (plus their player 2 versions) have recently been added to the My Nintendo Store in the UK so I'm wondering if this is part of a pattern of trying to restock the harder to find figurines maybe? Some of the rarer ones go for upwards of £200 so it's ridiculous Nintendo still haven't capitalised on that!

I think a remake is more probable. They've already done remakes of FE1 (Shadow Dragon), FE2 (Shadows of Valentia), and FE3 (New Mystery) so FE4 (Genealogy of the Holy War) is likely up next.

And don't worry. Aside from Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, they rarely make direct sequels. Three Houses having multiple endings would make it impossible for them to do one since none of the endings are the definitive "canon" one.

And since it's been about three years since 3H's release, I think it's time for a remake first before we get a new game.

@JR150 fair enough. I would like to see a remake of a FE game or maybe a port/remaster of previous ones (idk maybe the ones with Ike or Awakening, idk)

There is a rumor about a new FE coming out soon, so this might have something to do with it. It could also mean absolutely nothing.

In all seriousness, I only have the Smash Kirby amiibo, so I'm definitely adding at least Meta Knight and King Dedede to my collection. Maybe I'll get some Kirbys to give as a gift.
Hope they also restock the Smash Meta Knight and the Kirby version of King Dedede as well.

You can have your Byleth for all I care. I don't have them, but the only Fire Emblem characters I want in my collection are Alm and Celica.

I wonder why they're mixing and matching the Kirby amiibo. I mean, the Smash Dedede amiibo definitely looks a lot better than the Kirby series one, but why not go ahead and reprint Smash Kirby and Meta Knight? They're all getting pretty expensive.
Also, where is Waddle Dee?

The Byleth reprint is cool, but I'm starting to think that the third party SSBU amiibo will never get reprints. Hero and especially Joker are getting harder and harder to find for a decent price these days.

Glad they’re doing the Smash version of King Dedede. The Kirby version always looked wonky to me with his smooshed looking beak.

My cat chewed up Galaxia (Meta Knight’s sword) years ago, so I might pick one up.

I know there are Picross fans about, and I thought I'd let everyone know that these Amiibos unlock exclusive Kirby Picross puzzles in Picross 3D Round 2.

Good thing I already have all 4 of the Kirby amiibos (not the SSB ones), and also the Japan exclusive BoxBoy one. Got the last one when it first released, which was a good move considering how much it sells for today...
