@Eel
Finally, a reason to own a Switch.
How is this not Game of the Year?!
Has anyone tried playing Toy Baseball online?
Too bad they didn't patch in more options when playing local multiplayer with 3+ people.
@N00BiSH : Because it is 51 games, therefore, it is ineligible.
@backup368
I don't see the appeal of Toy Baseball - it'd probably be rock bottom on my favourites ranking list for all the 51 games. It just takes forever for anything to happen, and the small moments of agency you do get throughout the match feel completely random and arbitrary.
Normally love these type of games but was a bit disappointed with this one. Some of the games are a bit meh. Should be called 25 worldwide classics
This game has so much potential but some really terrible choices makes it quite average. Like pig tails - they ruined it online by removing what made it a competitive game when playing offline.
I wish they’d update it so you don’t have to use joycons when playing 2 player
Great game for lil bitesize play sessions. Always play Billiards, Yacht Dice, Air Hockey & Dot and Boxes.
Really wish though that the Golf was essentially Wii Sports Golf. Similarly to how Bowling is a near match to the Wii Sports counterpart.
@Alztru : The stupid "toy" games and the complete chance-based stuff (especially Takoyaki and War) are a stain on the overall package.
The absence of 8 player wireless multiplayer is especially baffling, especially as many of the activities that supported up to 6-8 players in the original DS instalment support as few as only 2 players here! Even in single player, the lack of additional CPUs rob some of these games of their competitive edge.
The lack of themes is also very disappointing (with Mario being the only variant for the card games) given that the DS game also had an assortment of visually distinct themes (albeit generic ones).
I've got my money's worth out of the package in single player, as there are a few games I like to revisit, but compared to the DS game, it's a huge disappointment in all of the areas that made the original such an exceptional package and such great value for money.
We need a patch that allow us to turn the music off. The experience will benefit in a substantial way if we could play only with the sound effects.
@stevep yes, its so annoying to have to switch between pro controllers and joycons for no apparent reason. There is no reason why the game shouldn't handle using two pro controllers or 2 sets of joycons instead. I had to buy some joycon grips just for this game cause its so uncomfortable using them sideways for a while. They go for cheap so I fully recommend them
Like Super Mario Party, this game has a lot of potential that could easily be added to the game with patches or DLC but I guess that makes too much sense...
@Broosh YES PLEASE i want 1v1v1v1 Toy Tanks
For some reason I find the menu system in this game an absolute nightmare.
Seen this on sale physically, but really want it digitally... but with so many other games on sale it'll sit on my wishlist for now
We need the update 'Go Moku adds proper Go'
