@sixrings My Gamecube, Dreamcast and PS2's sticks still work and I got a lot more use out of them than my Pro Controller.

I know everything is prone to breakage eventually, but Nintendo are really taking the cake here.

I don't know how they've done it but even their Pro Controllers are prone to drifting after time.

I felt the game had lost its soul compared to New Leaf, so I stopped playing a long time ago. I will likely never buy another game in the series... Life's too short!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with the 3DS version. The framerate is absolutely shocking.

As much as I wanted this landmark release on Switch, I'll be picking it up on PC. I won't even bother with the physical edition now either.

Big let down in my opinion, but at least Nintendo fans still get to play this time!

When sales start to slow they will kick out another console. That's usually what happens, right?

I'm likely gonna stick to PC games and VR from now on. Will always be interested in what Nintendo do, but won't blindly buy their hardware like in the past.

@thinkhector fair enough mate. I'm certainly glad the Switch has YouTube, but in my experience it crashes a lot, almost every time I use it. And you can't even link your phone to it.
I think it's safe to say that objectively it is the worst version of YouTube on current generation machines.

Honestly, as much as I love Nintendo, I won't be paying for their NSO anymore. Not even their entry level. PC is free and has more games, not to mention the framerate differences. And emulation. But, I will still buy the odd single player game. BOTW 2 definitely, but other than that there's not a lot to look forward to, for me.

Imo, most games on Switch have been a let down.

The Switch is even crap for YouTube.

I prefer the originals which I think is fair to say, but these aren't bad. Perhaps after a few listens they'll grow on me.

Still, remixes by the original composer are always welcome. More the merrier

Fell in love with Rebirth on 3DS, Afterbirth+ on Switch and I decided to get Repentance on PC. At least I'll never need to buy a new system.

I've been out of the Nintendo loop a bit since getting a PC. Have I missed much in the past 6 months?

I love always having something interesting to investigate.

If I'm bored, I can decide "hey, lets get the PS2 out and finally finish Dark Cloud', or one of the many other hundreds of games I've got kicking about.

Maybe it's because I've been spoiled with the Binding of Isaac but this game just didn't feel like there was enough content for a rogue like. At least for me.

I think the game plays at best a 7/10. The aesthetic, vibe and music however are legendary imo. I think nostalgia will have a large part to play in whether or not you'll be buying this.

I'll wait for a sale as I've got a lot on my plate atm. Getting this for sure though, eventually.

Love 3 and 4, but World and Generations weren't for me. I will probably just wait for the G-rank variant.

I think she perhaps wasn't the best fit for Zelda. The guy doing King Rhoam is also awful, possibly even worse than Zelda.
If we're talking Age of Calamity though, I'd say there are probably more bad VAs than good. Hestu is so unbelievably hard to listen to.

I think they kinda knew it was bad and that's why they gave us the option to choose. Probably, lol.

I appreciate the idea of freebies but it would be nice if they could put some stuff up for other games. I think there's only been Smash and Kirby things so far.

Played thru Doom 1, 2 & 64 very recently so I may wait a bit but I'll grab it now in case it's delisted for whatever reason.

It's a shame there's no 'downgraded' physical game, because I'd have been interested then.

Not good lads. Not good. I have loved Team17 and their games for almost 30 years. One of the most prolific British companies.

Without their independence I can't see them lasting long. Or at very least, see myself buying any more of their games.

I won't be buying this game on Switch despite wanting it. I already own Doom 64.
If I don't get a physical copy, then I might as well play it for 'free' on Gamepass. Saves me £50.
