Banjo-Kazooie composer Grant Kirkhope has revisited the score for the N64 classic in a new album entitled Banjo Kazooie Rejiggyed.
Comprised of 10 tracks, the album puts a new spin on classic tunes from Rare's 1998 3D platformer. You can listen to it on Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Music and Apple Music.
Banjo-Kazooie, if you've been paying attention, is one of the Nintendo 64 titles which has been made available as part of Nintendo Switch Online's new expansion pack.
While we have you, be sure to check out our exclusive interview with Kirkhope from a short time ago, where he discusses a wide range of topics including GoldenEye 007, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and much more besides.

Can't wait to give it a listen
I love well remixed video game music
Is this anything to do with the fan game of the same name
Nice! I've barely played Banjo-Kazooie, but I've heard some of the music in speedruns I've watched and it has always seemed great. Kirkhope is a treasure. Definitely checking this out this morning.
23 years later, not only people are still talking about this game, but still enjoying the soundtrack, fan requests managed to get a Microsoft character as a Fighter in Smash Bros., a Nintendo game.
When are we going to get a sequel, the Banjo-Threeie we are waiting since the year 2000, or at least remakes of the original two games?
Let's hope someone mods these into the game itself. Sounds way better so far
Aannnnddd downloaded. A couple of the tracks aren't as good as the OG imo, but that could just be these goggles I never take off.
Banjo remake confirmed!
Whoa, I wonder what the heck SonOfVon said that was bad enough for a ban, I've seen him around plenty and nothing set off any alarms before.
Awesome, I am definitely going to check this out on YouTube Music later.
I'm digging the chip tune remixes. Synthesized orchestral sounds on the other hand, I rarely can get behind. Hopefully one day Grant Kirkhope can get the resources to put together another album with real, live instrumentation (not a full blown orchestra necessarily, but majority live-recordings). Until then the closest we'll have is the Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
Interesting. I like some of these but prefer some of the originals.
E.g. Spiral Mountain was more unique, with that twang

Clanker's Cavern conspicuously absent? Guess poor Kirkhope struggled with that underwater key as much as the rest of us!
I gots to know what SonOfVon said ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜¤
Awesome. Gruntila's Lair, Freezeezy, Mad Monster Mansion, and Rusty Bucket Bay are all particularly well done. I hope they do a vinyl release of this.
Yes! Could this mean a remake? Nah…
Just love this game (Banjo Kazooie) so freaking much. I have played it countless times (to 100%) over the years. Say what you will about the N64 but I still think it had some of the best / most revolutionary games of all time on it.

Wish he would do a Vinyl or CD of this
I prefer the originals which I think is fair to say, but these aren't bad. Perhaps after a few listens they'll grow on me.
Still, remixes by the original composer are always welcome. More the merrier
