@fox_mattcloud People can score it whatever they want. Personally I haven't played the game but if someone thinks a game deserves a 1/10, regardless of anyone else's opinion they should be able to express that.

From the thumbnail I thought they added handsome squidward as a character. What a disappointment.

@Strumpan I'm fine with barebones ports but not when they're 50 dollars. Especially when it's just 30 on xBox. I think the "outrage" is probably compounded by the fact that it was rumored to be a remake and then wasn't, but I still think the 50 dollar pricetag is pretty dumb.

Yeah honestly I agree. The Switch doesn't appeal to the HARD-CORE GAMER™ audience that the XBox and PlayStation does. I know people with an XBox and a Switch, or a PS4 and a Switch.

Duping is just cheating. I won't be doing it probably until I finish the main story and even then might not. I'm sure there'll be another method soon.

@sketchturner I think that's probably because of the whole Upheaval weapon decay thing which I never really got.

I might get cancelled for saying this, but I didn't really enjoy the opening. So many cutscenes. And the voice acting wasn't great, so seeing Zelda go "omg this confirms my previous knowledge from what i learned in books" really wasn't very fun for me.

@RupeeClock Perhaps the absence of Mario in Nintendo games prevented the NES from getting any traction, killing off video games in the U.S. forever.

I dunno man. Making DQ darker will just make it more generic. I like the goofiness.

The eShop closure sucks, but what it means is more people interested in modding their consoles which means more demand for better mods which means a better modding scene overall. This is great for people like me but might suck for the average Joe who just wants something that'll work.

I'd love it if Nintendo would offer retro games on the Switch for 5 dollars each, which got cut down to 3 often. Alas, that pricing scheme is a relic from a bygone market. NSO is nice and all but I'd like to buy the games I wanna play.

@Lizuka Really? Why? I haven't actually played U Deluxe but I've played a bunch of the other NSMB games, and they're kind of mediocre, while Odyssey is probably one of the best games I've ever played.

I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon, but apparently the game is not great. Imagine the sales if it was great, though.

@Axecon I agree, Bowser really feels like a menace, someone to be afraid of. That fire breath demolished the icy palace or whatever.

Only problem I have is that the screen's a bit too small. You couldn't even see that 1-Up.

@Shambo I don't think this is like a "tips and tricks on how to get all korok seeds quick" and instead more of a "huh that's neat lemme go try that on a new save." It's more targeted towards people who finished the game and are interested in how it works rather than people who just want to cheat.

@claypool Yeah, and ALBW used Link to the Past's map, Spirit Tracks was a follow up to Phantom Hourglass, which was a follow up to Wind Waker. So the last time we got a fully original 2D Zelda was 2005 with Minish Cap.

As a kid I LOVED playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Wii with my brothers. Apparently it sucks, but as a kid you overlook a lot of flaws and just enjoy any game.

I was a little kid playing Smash Bros Brawl with my brothers. I did a final smash and then my robot guy turned into some random girl. It was very confusing.

@strollin_stu Yeah for me, not being able to add funds isn't a big deal because my switch, wii u, and 3ds accounts have a synced balance.

I'm considering buying one of the cheap aftermarket Amazon controllers to play N64 games with. A normal controller just doesn't work for them. Does anyone have any experience with stuff like that?

@calbeau Yeah, there's so much potential for 2 player shrines. Maybe do it like Human Fall Flat, where every puzzle has many ways to do it, and the singleplayer solution is wildly different from the 2 player solution.

It's so good. Singleplayer, multiplayer, it's all so fun. I haven't personally experienced any bugs.

I gotta see it, even if the movie is terrible. Chris Pratt's voice in Mario is gonna be so stupid it'll be funny.

@abdias If it takes 4 hours to beat then you can play through it with all characters for a 28 hour experience. Not to mention multiplayer, which makes the game infinitely replayable.

Also, I'd rather have a quality 4 hour game than a boring 20 hour game.

I think that GameCube and wii games would do well as collections or individual releases. I think that GBA would be a perfect fit for NSO, and have no idea why they haven’t done it yet.
