@victordamazio Retro’s DKC games are masterpieces. They’re some of my favorite games (haven’t played through Returns yet but still). I don’t care about Metroid Prime, but I think that for now, it’s more important.

But after it comes out, I’ll be waiting for a new action packed DK game.

Nintendo should go after these if they aren't. They rabidly hunt down fan projects that don't cost them a dime but they let this happen?

We have Banjo now, why not DK64? If I can hear the DK Rap on my Nintendo Switch, my chance of getting the Expansion Pack will quadruple.

@imgrowinglegs The 3DS version changes some stuff for the worse. The OOT port, though, is really terrific.

I know they're making a 3D game, but wouldn't it be cool if they made a 2D platformer like Donkey Kong Country, with images of the claymation models? Even just 3D models that look like clay would be cool.

This is horrible! If they sold a lot of copies, then that encourages other companies to do bad remasters/ports!

@JakedaArbok 3D World is great. I have always loved it. I think that people didn't like it because at the time of release, it was just another 3D Land. People were beginning to think that 3D Mario would always be linear.

Now that we have Odyssey, I think that more people appreciate 3D World for its great music and level design and stuff.

@Dinklebot Lego Mario doesn't really look like LEGO though. This looks like Sonic and is mostly a normal Lego minifigure.

South Park? 3D South Park characters are generally horrendous and that would be awful.

@CharlieGirl I agree. I'm just a Nintendo guy, so Sony and Microsoft's presentations usually don't interest me. Directs are nice because it's all Nintendo.

My understanding is that an NFT is a little bit of plaintext that says that you own something and wreaks havoc on the environment. Why is this necessary for games?

I just want to play video games, I don't care about making money or feeling satisfied that I "own" a virtual item. And I think that most people feel this way too.

In my opinion, the object of a game is to have fun. Everyone plays to have fun. Do you sit down and devote your time to a game that you don't think is fun for an hour? No.

Games should not primarily be about making money.

@RareAir23 I agree. I want this to be a good game. Sonic Team's reputation has gone down the toilet. Sonic has become something of a punching bag for the video game industry.

@Friendly Nope, I'm actually stupid. I thought that the title meant best selling titles for the last 12 months but I think it means 2021 releases too. I haven't played the new Shovel Knight spinoff, but I played Slime Rancher on Xbox.

I'm surprised to see that there's no Shovel Knight. Shovel Knight's really great, one of my favorite games. Slime Rancher is also cool.

@Anti-Matter No, I’m saying that they have completely different gameplay so you can’t compare them like that. Just Dance is more casual, like a party game. DDR is more competitive.

@Anti-Matter Just Dance and DDR are almost completely different games.

@sanderev Like others have said, most of the pieces are probably the little 1x1 pieces for the texture of the ground.

I'm all for Nintendo taking down sites that pirate Switch games. Switch game piracy actively takes money from Nintendo.

I'm not so much for Nintendo taking down sites that offer retro games that they're not making money off of, but that's a different story.

Miitomo was awesome. I just used it to take stupid screenshots and say stupid things.

I've never liked sports games. I've never heard of this game on 3DS but it looks really cool. The fact that it was published by Nintendo guarantees a certain amount of polish and quality.

This is a pretty significant problem. How do we play our old games if they're basically inaccessible?

Hmm... If only there was a way to somehow play these games on modern systems. But I'm just dreaming.

No DKC? I thought those ports were pretty good.

It always interests me to see the creations people make in ACNH. People make cool stuff even with the limitations of the game.

That artstyle is so good. Kinda reminds me of Yoshi's Island, how it's sort of a childish artstyle (not in a bad way).

The coolest part is the Mother logo on the back.

Y'know, the part that you never see.

The Pac-Man one that was released a while back is so much nicer and cheaper, too.
