Nintendo has shown no sign of letting up on amiibo just yet, and Splatoon Raiders keeps the unlockables coming with a range of outfits available to all those who scan 'em.
In this guide, we'll run through what every amiibo unlocks in Splatoon Raiders, including the new tie-in Deep Cut figures.

Splatoon Raiders: All amiibo Unlocks
Shiver (Splatoon Raiders amiibo)

Scanning the Shiver Splatoon Raiders amiibo will unlock an exclusive in-game outfit inspired by the shark master of Deep Cut. There's no way to get these blue overalls through gameplay alone, so scanning is the only way to complete the collection.
Much like the other outfits in Splatoon Raiders, this unlockable look does not come with any passive ability buffs.
Frye (Splatoon Raiders amiibo)

Scanning the Splatoon Raiders Frye amiibo will unlock a different exclusive outfit, this one modelled on Frye's yellow colour palette. As with Shiver, you can't unlock this outfit any other way.
Fortunately, the overalls don't come with any ability buffs or bonus skills, so you're not missing out on any upgrades if you can't grab the amiibo.
Big Man (Splatoon Raiders amiibo)

The final amiibo in the Splatoon Raiders set, scanning Big Man unlocks another exclusive outfit, this time in the manta ray's greys and greens. And yes, you guessed it, there's no other way to get your hands on this look through gameplay alone.
Once again, the outfit doesn't come with any buffs of its own.
Splatoon Series amiibo

Scanning any other amiibo in the Splatoon series (excluding any of the above Raiders models) unlocks the Bite Waders outfit. There's no other way to get these orange waders in the game, so you'll have to scan a relevant amiibo if you want in.
All Other amiibo

There are no unlocks for scanning any other amiibo. Trying to scan one outside of those outlined above brings up the following message:
Please tap an amiibo that is compatible with Splatoon Raiders.
Sorry!
How To Scan amiibo In Splatoon Raiders

To scan an amiibo in Splatoon Raiders, follow these steps:
- From the Hideout ship, press '+' to open your gear menu
- Head to 'Style' and hit 'R' three times to open the amiibo option
- Press 'Scan' and touch a Splatoon series amiibo to the NFC point (the right Joy-Con 2 stick, or the middle of your Pro Controller)
That's it! Any unlocked outfits will be automatically sent to your in-game wardrobe, which you can find by heading to 'Outfit' in the Style menu.

"There's no other way to get these ... in the game, so you'll have to scan a relevant amiibo if you want in."
A little disappointing. I guess they did the same thing in Metroid 4, right? The radio or something.
I guess I could get an NFC emulator.
A guilty pleasure of mine is to wait for new amiibos to release and see if they fall in the "Nintendo locked great content behind paywall !" controversy or "Nintendo released useless amiibos yet again !" controversy.
Judging by this article, the first one ?
"Nintendo locked great content behind paywall"
I'm a little torn on that one. I mean I can see how it's arguably fun to associate some in-game exclusive item with a real-life trinket, that's kinda cool, sort of a "secret", but in practice it has a lot of obvious downsides too.
Frye’s outfit looks so cute!
a little disappointed these are all just the same outfit with a different texture, i would've liked something unique for each, though fashion isn't exactly the focus here anyway
The amiibo trio are £50 in the UK and they only give you three outfits, they are the same price as the game! Frankly they should give some more digital goodies!!!
If I'm being honest I'm glad I'm not missing on anything I want
I'm not crazy about any of these outfits so I'm comfortable missing out. Even if I did want them, it's preferable to lose something cosmetic than say, the backstory of the primary antagonist, or music during the most boring part of the game [/shade@MP4]
They couldn't have even made custom outfits for Callie, Marie, Pearl, and Marina? My daughter was disappointed that there wasn't a Marina-specific outfit and that all the older Splatoon amiibo unlocked the exact same thing.
They could have done more for this in my opinion.
(E.g. loved in Splatoon 1 when you got extra mini games that had nothing to do with the main game).
I was scanning my amiibo and wondering why it kept saying I already had the outfit for that amiibo. Turns out it's only 4 amiibo, with only the new Raiders ones giving unique outfits. Lame! Oh well.
Huh. Locked amiibo content kinda suck I have to admit. Plus it would have been nice at least to have other splatoon bands inspired costumes but oh well. My super stylish Mary amiibo will allow me to unlock the ugliest overalls I've ever seen I guess.
@JimNorman
Does the Bite Waders outfit come with any passive ability buffs or upgrades or bonus skills?
The only Amiibo I own is Green Yarn Yoshi and that’s because a friend of mine gave it to me years ago. I’ve never seen reason to buy a $20+ non posable figure (excluding that one Zelda one with posable arms) just to unlock a new outfit or give you some items. They’re a neat idea on paper but I’d much rather just save my money.
@TrogdorTheBurninator People would be furious that they locked it behind an expensive Amiibo though, they cost a lot more then they did back then
If only these were optional and weren't required to play the game!
Disappointing that there's only one outfit outside the Deep Cut ones wheb every amiibo got its own set in the main series.
Was also expecting more outfits like the main game. Ah well I’ll unlock the waders and maybe be done with it. I love big man’s outfit tho but do I need 2 big man amiibo…. Maybe
Edit: like his in game character and amiibo outfit, not the unlock one
@sublimesunset Technically they have different models, but it seems like the only difference is the legs (most noticable on the Shiver one). I do agree though, it would've been cool if they were more unique.
