I think they’re trying to make the switch as popular to the non-hardcore, general public as the Wii was. I mean everyone and their grandmother I knew had a wii and was playin wii sports.

Although the switch is hella popular it isn’t as popular with the non gamers as the Wii was . I think Nintendo is targeting that demographic this holiday season and this commercial does a good job at it.

Heck they should make the next commercial with Chris Pratt playing a switch…wouldn’t the new voice of Mario make sense?

WarioWare and Cruisn' Blast for me. My kids and I played Crusin' Blast on the arcade cabinet recently and it was a ton of fun.

i'm working all weekend, but in the evening, gonna play No More Heroes 3. 60 fps in the combat areas, yes please!

Love how this one has so much more detail than the first game, especially in the lighting and shadow effects. Look at the still of Mario with a spark. It’s dark and the glow of the spark casting a shadow on Mario onto the barrier he’s behind. Stunning!

Wasn’t blown away. Too many titles announced I’m like “huh”

And when Mario golf was the most exciting title announcement for me says a lot...

I’m actually impressed that it looks and runs as well as it does on the Switch. Can’t wait to try it myself.

Since Doom Eternal on switch is delayed indefinitely, this will do nicely. Trailer looks good. Hope the switch version runs well. Excited for this!

For foreseeable future, just my switch and my PS4. I play them 80%/20% with switch at 80%, so don’t see a need to get a ps5 right away

I never played NMH 1 or 2. Tried 1 for several hours and gave up because the open world part and working for money to advance got tiring fast

NMH2 is so much better in every way. Very streamlined, I can work for money or jump straight into the boss fights. Slick, stylish, it’s like the Matrix, John Wick, and old school karate/ninja movies all wrapped into one.

Like everyone said, I thought i was looking at an update or DLC for Streets of Rage 4.... hard pass

Haven’t played either. Is is ok to jump straight into NMH 2 and skip the first? (Read some reviews and seems 2 is a much better game overall )

Never played Galaxy before so am really enjoying it right now. Not sure what the original looked like, but the Switch version is gorgeous

And in between Galaxy I may try out Hades. Heard so many great things about it

to prepare for 3D AllStars in 6 (!!) days, i'll be playing Super Mario All Stars, and hoping to try out HotShot Racing.

Gives me Classic Cave shmup vibes which is good. Excited for this

@JayJ I agree with you. I did like some of the changes and visual improvements from 2k19 to 2k20 but overall not much has changed

I thought it was just the switch so I even downloaded the demo for 2k21 on my PS4. Nope still pretty trash haha

@JayJ not sure if it's still available but i know 2k20 was $4.99 recently on the eshop.

i borrowed my friend's copy and did not like it at all. the new shot meter, even with the right analog stick or using buttons, is horrible, and i'm missing every open jump shot that i should be getting, as well as missing free throws.

plus not enough changed to make me pay $60 for this game. i'm pretty happy with NBA 2k20 for now

Wasn’t it the same leak or report that said Mario 35th anniversary collection, Super Mario 3D world, and Pikman 3 coming to switch? If so gives weight that the Mario collections are actually coming *pumps fists in air**

Now I’m seeing Nintendo saving the 35th anniversary and possibly 3D world for the holiday release date and I think an early Nov Twitter announcement for them. Those would sell like crazy during the Christmas season!

I never gave Astral Chains a fair chance so now revisiting it. So far about 2 hrs in and it’s liking it so far.

I just beat Paper Mario in about 35 hours. Didn’t get 100% bec a few toads were way too hard to find for me. I’ve enjoyed every minute of this game, and brought back good feelings and vibes similar to when I played and beat Mario Odyssey (i still think Odyssey is way superior a game)

Is paper Mario a perfect game? Far from it. No game is perfect but sometimes you just want to play a game that is just pure fun and makes you smile constantly. PMTOK is that game.

Super excited for Doom Eternal. The 15 min gameplay released today got me even more pumped. I hope it performs as good, if not better than 2016 Doom did on the Switch

There are people selling this on Etsy, making it with their 3d printers. I bought one for $10 and it works well.

Bought and tried Luigi’s Mansion 3, but keep going back to the Witcher 3. Never played Witcher 3 on any other platforms so this is my first time thru. Such an excellent game. Can see why its won like 250+ GOTY awards

Although 2k gets a lot of hate for micro transactions in nba 2k series, at least their switch port of nba 2k20 is excellent and identical to the PS4/Xbox one versions (minus some graphics quality)

EA should be ashamed of themselves. Not only will they not port over Madden but the one sports franchise they have on the Switch they can’t even be bothered with. EA deserves all the hate they are getting, with this and games like Anthem.

Will this work with other Switch racing games, like GRID Autosport? If so this would be awesome to have

I have a first gen Switch and very satisfied with it. So it’s a no for me

However if my kids want one for Christmas then the Lite is what I’ll get for them.

This news is perfect. I have a PS4 and switch, and after seeing the trailer for Heat, I wasn’t planning on getting it on the PS4, so now don’t have to worry about getting it on the Switch either 😂

Seriously EA has lost their way with the NFS franchise. I think the last one I had fun with was Hot Pursuit on the PlayStation 1!

Probably will never happen but just give us a Madden on the Switch. If it can run on a PS Vita surely it can on the switch

I loved the last Wolfenstein on the Switch, so definitely picking this up. I have a 400 gb micro sd card so I’m all ready for this.

Oh and Young Blood is $29.99 while the last wolf was $59.99. I know YB is more an expansion and not a true sequel but for those that are complaing digital only for full price, isn’t PC digital only? $30 I’d say is a fair price.

Honestly it’s because the NBA season is almost over and NBA 2k20 has been leaked for sept 20th or so. But $2.99 is a steal. Heck even NBA 2k18 isn’t this cheap.

If I didn’t already have NBA 2k19 I’d totally jump on this

Guess Wolfenstein Young Blood will have to quench my FPS fix until Doom Eternal, not that this is necessarily a bad thing.

Loved this game. It was brutally difficult but so much fun. Definitely picking this one up
