Maybe he has a point that NoA could have set up a NDA prerelease online playing team so reviewers could properly check multiplayer. It may not have proved review scores though because I asume NL would have given a higher score if the multiplayer made up for it.
@BenAV In a game with online battling, it sucks when you come up against a cheater who blasts you away. I don't mind losing badly to someone who is merely so dedicated they spent 100's of hours of breeding and training to build the perfect team of super Pokemon, in fact I appreciate their skill and dedication. But when someone just cheats and gets an even better team in 3 minutes, that ruins the game for everyone.
@jimi Do you understand the use of 'single quotation marks'? I saw that as a dig at the people who pirate with the excuse of 'trying it out'. And some of those may have bought the actual game, or even have a pre-order fully paid off. Still serves them right for breaking the law.
Endless runners have only a handful of different environments and all obstacles look the same. This game has so much more than any endless runner I have seen, and all endless runners want you to spend lots and lots of money on unlocks and pay to win.
Being in a different country doesn't help enough. $30b gone from Australian stock market. Businesses and investors know they will also lose out under Trump. I'm not sure who will gain, aside from those with the last name "Trump".
@Christmas You can buy a $400 tablet for flappy birds, city "builders" and gem matching games, or $99 for one that doesn't run half of them, or you can buy a Switch for less than the latest iPad.
@WilliamCalley Conspiracy thinking isn't critical thinking, especially if you fully read all the comments instead of making a silly assumption based on a headline and your feelings (the total opposite of critical thinking).
@JaxonH If you play Orange Box on anything other than PC, you are missing 99% of the experience. Such games look and play better on PC, and with the Orange Box they also have far more content.
RAM is what programs are loaded into. If RAM is lower, it'll need to go back to the data more often. Who cares with super fast flash storage? And as flash storage improves all the time, it'll get bigger and faster. Maybe there's even a possibility of 1tb flash cartridges in the Switch's future?
@Rocossa Assuming you have Windows 10 which uses up a huge chunk of RAM. Nintendo are famous for making OS that use minimal resources. Windows and Xbox are famous for bloated OS that drags performance down.
Does anyone else think they look like variable triggers? PS I dislike the inaccurate term analogue triggers, and think variable is a much more fitting and explanatory term.
@naut Do you have a house? Do you wish you didn't have to pause while going to another room? Wanted to sit outside on a nice day? Are you one of those people who play on their phones while using a toilet? Want to play in your bedroom without turning a system off and physically moving the whole thing and plugging it into a TV you may or may not have? Want to plug in headphones in a noisy party environment with people also between you and the TV? When you really think about it, there are hundreds of reasons for people to Switch to portable mode.
@Matclip And people complain about the Switch tablet screen not being high enough quality, but VR is terrible because having any screen up the close anything becomes very pixellated.
@JaxonH "This is the first time in 30 years of console gaming that we will actually have the opportunity to play games of the caliber we are playing on our home consoles anywhere."
And with flash cartridges having a potentially far bigger capacity as well as loading times than optical disc, the future looks better for home, portable and PC.
I don't think people understand the benefit of cartridges. My wife has a 500gb flash drive, you can buy 2tb ones. Loading times from disc or even hard drives are a bottleneck, with RAM, GPU RAM and Caches set up properly, it can blitz everything even PC for loading and performance in this area.
@Clownshoes If you like spending piles of cash on a hard to move console with essential power than a laptop with slows spinning discs, that's your choice.
@WilliamCalley maybe portable will be useless to you on a large scale, but you coukd easily take it to all the rooms for your house or sit outside with it.
We don't know that all indies haven't got the Dev kit, we only know some don't. People aren't going to really go out of their way to say they have it when they don't want to lose their good relationship with Nintendo.
@abbyhitter day then month then year. This is the original incremental order and makes sense. Incremental order is handy when counting with numbers, you wouldn't swap units and tens.
@buildz Same, which is a shame because it's such fun to play otherwise. My young boys 5 and 6 love it even if they can't finish better than the last two, but they prefer Mario Kart 8 just that but more because at least my older one can win some races, whereas myself I'm still on the lowest difficulty. I'll still buy the DLC though, it's too good to not buy.

Maybe a launch title has a 16 GB card.
Also, if flash drives can have terabytes of storage, flashcards should as well at some point?
Re: Koei Tecmo Confirms Nobunaga’s Ambition Is Coming To Nintendo Switch
I'm hoping unlike the last Romance of the Three Kingdoms on Wii U it gets an English release and comes to Australia.

@Alshain01 Also it would mean fancy power bank chargers people bought for Pokemon Go will give the Switch a little more charge.
