@Wandman5612 The sand castle one is a monster that could have been created by Stephen King. How many Pikachu have these dark beings trapep and killed? They all float down there.
The game us onenif the weaker Lego games but that's mainly because the movie is one of the weakest Star Wars movies, and so much of the dialogue is flat.
So it seems that this just got a lot of people to open their wallets to Pokemon and have moved from spending it on something that Nintendo will get a small amount form to other Pokemon stuff that Nintendo might do better from.
@Kalmaro @GoshDangTravino Anyone having an Internet connected phone would be kicked out of an exam, headphones or not. Plenty of games, especially freemium ones which give free premium currency as rewards, block rooted phones.
@Kogorn733 There are some great games, but there's an insane amount of shovelware. Marvel Puzzle Quest and Kairosoft games are stuff I like on smartphones.
@InternetBowser The Apple iCar will have no wheels, it will have a proprietary movement system and you will only be able to buy overpriced first party replacements.
My daughter will love these Amiibo+ cards more than having Hello Kitty and My Melody in Mario Maker. We will definitely have to get the whole Sanrio set.
@Andrzej777 Also discs like being totally flat or totally on its side, with zero changes during operation, so with portability either you have silly PSP discs or cards that would fit more data and now be cheaper.
Why are people complaining that it's not "Real Metroid" despite still being very much like Prime trilogy? That's like saying Fusion isn't real Metroid with it's cutscenes.
@Samurai_Goroh Why is power so important? What games looked bad because of the lesser power? Any bad looking games in the current gen across all platforms had to do with bad design or bad programming. The Gamepad and superior gamelist for Wii U more than make up for sometimes a slightly lesser frame rate that I could never notice. Most people can't tell between 20 fps and 60 fps anyway.
@KittyKatta I don't think that many sooks quit playing, but I wish more did. They have been ruining the game much more than Niantic tweaks, updates and even bugs.
@JaxonH I'm sick of "Excellent game is 0/10 because invisible PC isn't Samus" or "because one minor change in localisation" etc. Well, Pokemon has localisation changes too. They censored the name of the hero, and changed it to Red, or Ash for TV.
@Kid_Sickarus If it was it's own original game inspired by Metroid, it would be a hit. But is the only reason it's a quality piece of work because it's a complete rip off of NIntendo's gameplay, design and graphics? And calling it a "fan remake" doesn't change the fact that it is a complete rip off of Nintendo's work.
@Phin68 Positive PR by allowing this wouldn't be any better. As creative people who are asked to work for "free exposure" say, you can't eat free exposure, and it never actually gets more money. Nobody would buy any extra Nintendo stuff if they let it remain, and from a business stand point they would lose money.
@Maxz All creative people like that have to build their own showreel. Maybe from a professional point it would have been best for his career to keep this one private instead of breaking the law. However it has still gotten him on the bottom rung, so hopefully no harm done for his career.
@GravyThief If they didn't take it down, would people be buying the original? I hope the reason Nintendo took it down was because they want to do a remake of their own.
@TwistOfFate619 The problem is "fan enthusiasm" is bad for business. Nintendo would have to completely start again anyway to make it for their own platforms, so why pay the maker when they would have to start again from scratch?
In other obvious news, the sky is blue. It was known already that Pokevision was a tremendous server strain.
But people just want a conspiracy and need to have things spelled out in big letters, sadly they aren't limited to Trump followers.
@bngrybt the in-game tracking feature was broken, and removing it has helped the game run better. A cheating trainer (the equivalent of which would get your Steam account deleted) was removed. The loud minority are upset, but the majority are happier because more countries have it released now and people can't just use Pokevision to catch a lot of Eevees and Snorlaxes to power up their best 6 and put them in a bunch of gyms, making it much harder for anyone who didn't cheat to earn Pokecoins. Any cheaters who earned Pokecoins through Pokevision have harmed the game, and if Pokevision didn't get removed then it would end up making a large percentage quit, just like how many atheletes would not be going to Rio if drug cheating Russians were given a free pass.

They all float down there.
Re: New Version-Exclusive Pokémon, Pokémon Refresh and More Shown Off for Sun and Moon
@RoomB31 I think it's good that they aren't all just mega attacks. This could make Eevee very important for the really big battles.

Re: Apparent amiibo Release Date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Leaked Online
@Marshi With the shortening of console life spans, the amount of time between reveal and release is also shortening.
Re: Turns Out You Can Capture New Pokémon With The Pokémon GO Plus
AU$55? Nope. However I've spent zero cash on the game and I play at along with my two older kids, and they would love to give it a try.

Re: Random: Walking 10km With Pikachu As Your Buddy Creates A Stronger Bond In Pokémon GO
@Freelance That's why there needs to be a Mega Raichu.
Re: Nintendo Is Interested In Bringing amiibo Support To Smartphones
Imagine in Pokemon Go you could get extra candies, stardust or items from scanning Amiibo.
Re: Xbox One NES Emulator Passes Certification, Could Hit Console In The Next Few Days
Emulator contains OS software, still not really legal

Re: Retro: Remember When Nintendo Ditched The Headphone Socket?
@MitchVogel I think like the iMac dropping floppys in '98, Apple are moving at least 5 years too soon.
Re: Grand Prix Rock 'N Racing Gets Close to the Finish Line on Wii U
This doesn't look anywhere near as good as the older top down arcade racer we all ready have on Wii U, I forget it's name.

@ElkinFencer10 you forgot that cards are noiseless while discs are definitely not.

Re: Review: Metroid Prime: Federation Force (3DS)
@MyLegGuy I havent gotten around to playing this, and I would say this is the best comparison I have read so far, thanks.
Re: Random: Disgruntled Young Pokémon GO Fan Makes Satirical Game About Playing in the Suburbs
@ECMIM Yeah, epic fail at walking around and has spent the whole game sitting at home and gave up after 30 minutes.

@Donutman It's new, different and exciting, so for many it's strange and scary.

Re: Puns and Timing Pinpointed As Reasons for a Pokémon Absence in Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
@DragonEleven They didn't pick more than one from each company.
Re: Talking Point: Mario's Cameo in Rio Showcases Nintendo's Enduring Brand Power
@Savino Everybody knows Mario. Not even all console gamers know Drake.
Re: Niantic Pushes Out a New Pokémon GO Update
Does anyone have the update yet? It's not on Android in Australia.

Re: We Almost Got A Pokémon And Fire Emblem Crossover Game
@ziffy The whole point was for Pokemon to not die because the creator was sick of kids saying "I died" in video games.

Re: Pokémon Uranium is the Latest Ambitious Fan-Made Game to Run The Gauntlet
Why not ditch the Pokemon name and make their own 100% original game?
Re: New Pokémon and Antagonists, Team Skull, Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
@Raylax It's Pennywise, a horiffic monster disguising itself as a cute sandcastle rather than a clown.
Down here Pikachu they all float.

@DragonEleven You press it once, and it doesn't matter if you stop and start.

@PieNinja Yeah. Splatoon > CoD, 3D World > Little Big Planet 3, etc etc
Re: Talking Point: Pokémon GO's Next Major Update Should Target Gen VII Pokémon
I think first they should add all the Alola alternate forms for Gen 1 Pokemon. It would at least make people want to catch Sandshrew.

@Grumblevolcano They said it won't appeal to PS4 fans so that should mean that we won't get 100 next gen ports.

@bngrybt Actually, Niantic changed server stuff and didn't give the information to the app maker. He thinks Compass could be back in a couple of days.
