So excited! Now the question is, will this be a brand new entry, or a 3rd entry of the Smash 4 release?

I hope they release a new entry for Switch that is as innovative and fun as the Wii entry, Smooth Moves, but using the Joy-Cons. The motion is vastly improved from the Wii remote, and could have some seriously unique and exciting control methods. 1-2 switch demonstrated some unique ideas, but adding the wackiness of the Wario brand and including much more content could be a hit, in my opinion. great way to demonstrate the uniqueness of the system.

One of the reasons I enjoyed the original, besides the creepy yet goofy atmosphere, was how they used the dual analog controls to aim the poltergust and capture the ghosts. you'd start to suck them in, and use the c-stick to pull the windstream in different directions to capture the ghosts. I don't see how this will work on 3DS unless it uses the New 3DS nub. I'm not sure this will be as fun as the original, in my opinion. I love the idea of this game in 3D though.

that was one of the reasons I didn't enjoy Dark Moon, the gameplay was simplified too much to keep me interested.

the low return on investment is one thing. the fact that your coins expire is another and is ridiculous. I personally buy tons of Nintendo games, but needing to spend $1200 within a year is insane.

I have been a huge fan of the unique auto-stereoscopic 3D feature of the 3DS and have been extremely disappointed that Nintendo has been dropping support. I also wish more gamers got to experience 3D on the New 3DS model, that is where they finally perfected it, but many users already had a 3DS or had already dismissed the concept (due to poor implementation on previous 3DS models). I am very saddened to see glasses-free 3D support in video games die with this system!! I have had each 3DS model since the beginning and never suffered headaches or the other reasons people list for not wanting to experience 3D. Hopefully when Nintendo fully drops support, homebrew will keep 3D in gaming alive!!

Let's add some music by the way! Go ahead and copy the music from the Wii U or 3DS eShop! Switch eShop is so bland and uninspired.

Um. Phantasy Star Online 2 came out YEARS ago and the English release was cancelled just as long ago. Like Dragon Quest X, we're not getting this MMO outside of Japan.

Sonic Mania #1 for me. Surprised it didn't make the list as it seems to be an eShop only title.

Really hope the annoying glitches in the gyms where your 'mons constantly die and revive endlessly until you lose the match is fixed. Kind of unacceptable that the main part of the game everyone works towards being able to participate in is riddled with game-breaking bugs.

The issue I have with this game is that split-screen multiplayer seems to be a vertical split, but each side is still a widescreen ratio. Therefore about half of the screen goes unused above and below each side. Looks pretty bad, and will probably be the reason I don't buy this. Noticed Nintendo refrained from showing this mode very often. I would want to play local multiplayer but it doesn't look like a good experience to me, especially in Tabletop mode.

Way more excited for the Pink + Green joy-cons. Not interested in Splatoon but I like those colors. The neon yellow isn't appealing to me

I wonder if "Classic Game Selection" **name not final** is whats going to replace "Virtual Console". Its great they are adding online play, (and I hope local wireless!) but it sounds more like a selection of games rather than a library like vc was. The multiplayer would be a huge improvement though

Perfect recreation of that classic Sonic style from the Genesis-CD era. Animation looks brilliant, and whole game is cheaper than I expected!! A must-buy for me!

So weird! I love all the Mario RPGs but have no interest in obnoxious Rabbids. Glad Nintendo has been more open to 3rd parties using their IP, but Rabbids is nowhere on the level of Mario. They need to use better discretion. Will not be picking this up.

Had been looking forward to seeing how this game would turn out.. Too bad Inafune turned out to be an incompetent leader and borderline con-man. Unapologetic at the very least. I feel bad for the backers and the companies who put their faith (and money) in this project.

Still think Mario + Rabbids is a bad idea. The rabbids are annoying and obnoxious, and I've loved all the Mario RPG series before now. I hope they aren't making Intelligent Systems work on this.. At least there's the rumored Mario + Luigi: Superstar Saga remake for me to look forward to!

Yes, pre-ordered this edition. Have been interested in this series, but many of them haven't made it out of Japan. Looking forward to trying it, and glad to see Kinu Nishimura (Zero Escape, Code of Princess, etc) doing the character design!

As others have said, I think re-releasing many of the Multiplayer and Co-Op focused games on Switch is great idea, as that anywhere-multiplayer component is a huge part of the systems appeal. There aren't many games available to take advantage of it right now, but adding Smash Bros, Mario 3D World and Super Mario U would be perfect showcases of Switch's easy/anywhere co-op multiplayer

It's nice that you get something.. but wow, so much less? I wonder if that means one card can be used on multiple systems to get coins. Rather than nerfing the amount to prevent exploitation, they should have made the effort to include a slip with a code in the package, like before. It's not a good alternative to me.

Still wondering if I'd need to have my headphones connected to my phone to chat.. and then be unable to hear the game audio.. kind of lame that this setup seems to only let you listen to one audio source at a time.. Also disappointed that we need to pay for this..

I just hope all our data remains intact, as there's still no mention of save syncing or even a proper account system to redownload purchased games!

Miiverse is one of the only social networks I am interested in posting on. I was pretty disappointed hearing it be discontinued, I thought it would be a staple of Nintendo systems. I hope it can be included with Nintendo's paid subscription at the very least.

So, game looks fun, but don't like how Nintendo introduced a gatcha / lottery style way to get characters.. Mobile games like Final Fantasy Brave Exvius are really fun.. but if you actually try to get the characters you want, you'll be pouring tons of money in.. I hope Nintendo is less stingy than some app developers..

Looking forward to what's announced here, but hope there's a proper direct soon, or at least a Pokemon direct. Wanna know when Bank will be updated and when I can start filling the National Dex XD

My biggest hope for the Nintendo online service is to transfer purchased Virtual Console titles and in particular - their saves. I will reluctantly pay the upgrade fee, or even buy some of these titles again, but do not want to start my progress all over for the 5th or so time. PS Plus offers save syncing, come on Nintendo! These VC games should read their saves generally the same way, regardless of platform, so it shouldn't take extra work for each title

I wish the Pokemon Go Plus features were more like this. Or at least like the PokeWalker with its own way of showing info. Guess this is good news for Apple users..

A little bummed we cant share 3D photos, kind of makes the 3D camera feel useless when there's no easy way to share these photos to other 3D capable devices. I understand this is the reason Swapnote was removed in the first place, but oh well. I'll still download this app and be glad to draw with my friends again :3

I would be plenty satisfied with ports of Mario Kart 8 and Smash with added characters/tracks and other features. The Wii U didn't have a long enough life cycle to warrant sequels for these games in my opinion, and I'd prefer Nintendo's resources go towards IP that don't get games as often as Smash and Mario Kart.

So, it's never been mentioned, but doesn't the resemblance between Silver and Rocket Executive Ariana make you wonder who the mother is? XD Maybe theres an untold story between Giovanni and Ariana. ..Or I'm reading too into anime hairstyles XD

Great detailed review! I hadn't come to a decision with Apocalypse yet, but knowing it's just as solid as SMT4 has me convinced.

Also, that review that called this game sexist.. All Shin Megami Tensei games have had nudidy/sexuality reflected in the demon designs.. Even the Persona games, which people assume to be less 'mature'. And also, both males and females have been represented in this way, there are plenty of demon designs with blatant male nudity or phallic designs. I think that reviewer was just looking for reasons to feel offended. Besides, why would demons live by human modesty standards anyway? XD

I think he means Miitomo.. and when listing the best games for Wii U, he didn't even know the names of some of them. If Reggie is so detached from the software maybe he shouldn't continue being the one talking about it. He's been irrelevant for a long time now

Iwanko looks cute in that art, but I think I'll stick to the inevitable Sun and Moon chapter of Pocket Monsters SPECIAL. I don't think I'd enjoy the style of these characters much

I feel like Nintendo would only want consumers to have access to these new pokemon by buying a 3DS and Sun/Moon. Letting people catch and use them for free in Go seems to be what Nintendo wants to avoid with mobile, making the 3DS seem less relevant

I have thought this would be a great idea for Nintendo. With an official controller, we could enjoy regular gaming experiences on smart devices, instead of tap to win/microtransaction nonsense.

I have been wanting to purchase these for my 3DS for a long time! Having them as a limited-time Nintendo Video clip wasn't the best idea. I hope these clips become available through the US My Nintendo service!
