@AlphaElite I've been noticing this too. Like why is NoA so bad at their jobs? I feel like we don't get the same level of customer service other regions are getting.
I struggled with this one, didn't spend as much time with the DS as I'd thought... top games were Phantom Hourglass, Mario Kart, and Pokemon HeartGold.
I didn't wind up giving anything a 10 though. I couldn't think of one killer game that really felt like it deserved a 10. Normally Zelda is my highlight with each console, but the Zeldas for the original DS were in my opinion the weakest since the NES era. I think that might be part of the reason I never connected as strongly with the system as a whole.
Preordered Link's Awakening forever ago... not sure what else I'll pick up. Interested in Baldur's Gate and Daemon X Machina and a few others. Might check out "Buildings Have Feelings Too!" just because the title cracked me up haha.
I prefer the shrines, personally. Dungeons are fine but they're hard to beat in one sitting sometimes, especially as the games have gotten bigger. I like being able to tackle the whole thing all at once, and I liked BOTW's focus on the overworld.
My first (packed in) set drifted sometimes playing Zelda. The set I purchased later did not. I don't care. There's always some bugs early adopters have to deal with. If you don't want bugs, wait a year or two.
I wonder how they choose which colors go with what. I like the blue, and would maybe go for orange, but that neon yellow is a big fat nope. I would prefer that blue with a nice deep Luigi green.
Lack of a kickstand seems pretty silly... tabletop mode would still work for the most part, right? I'm a little tempted, but I'll need to hold it in hand to get a feel for the size.
Somebody needs to call the waaambulance for this comments section. SNES games are probably coming in September... when everyone who jumped in for year one will have to renew their membership.
I'd like to be convinced 5G isn't dangerous before I see any further investment... what I've heard about the tech sounds pretty sketchy. Heck, I'm still not convinced WiFi is safe. We don't even use it. Everything's wired in my house except cell phones.
Gahhhhhh I need the Majora's Mask one... I hope this means they are restocking worldwide. I'm not paying scalper prices or overseas shipping, but I wantssss it.
As far as bonus features go, this could be a fun one. I hope they make trying other peoples' levels easy. That would add a ton of replay value.
@tibob @alucard83
"mixing elements and rearranging the chambers around can lead to some surprising outcomes. I hope you’ll have fun arranging and playing through your own Chamber Dungeons!"
It's implied that just because you made the level, the way you mix things might lead to stuff you wouldn't expect. Otherwise I would agree, playing my own levels doesn't really interest me that much.
I hope this means the bosses will be more fun and not just more challenging.
@Henmii I'm STILL stuck at the ice boss... hit a brick wall and wound up moving on to other games. Super frustrating. I liked and was good at the primary mechanics of the game, but that boss battle asked stuff from me the game never trained me for.
From too few games to too many! Good problem to have. Going to be choosy because of my backlog but there's several I'll pick up whether I'm caught up or not, particularly the Zelda games, Mario Maker 2, Luigi's Mansion, and maybe Myst.
If the "A" stars were different, I'd be more inclined to think it was an easter egg, but since all three stars are the same, I don't think so. Interesting coincidence though. I was always annoyed that painting didn't do anything.
I'll keep an eye on this one, but I've got one of these games already thanks to the SNES classic, so it's going to take a steep sale to get me invested. Unless I play Secret of Mana and love it so much I've got to have the other games... I've never actually played any of these before. ^_^'
Well Cadence was a day one but $25 is a little steep for an indie. I think I'll try the first one out before I snag it, picked it up a couple days ago for a cool $2.
Though I'm sure I'll get Cadence eventually... I can't resist picking up a Zelda game.
Ugh that is kind of unsettling. It does sound like Fi. I thought I heard "Hyrule is falling" but I could be wrong. Cue two years of wild speculation!
If they let us play as Zelda, maybe they'll go the Dishonored 2 route, slightly different stories and options depending on who you play as. It's the only way to make everyone happy. Well, maybe not the only way. Aw, who am I kidding, someone will complain no matter what they do.
A new Zelda tease and the Metroid trilogy would be cool. Really though, any sort of unexpected ace would be fun, a new IP or some sort of twist or something. E3 has been mostly boring so far (though props to Squeenix for a decent show), and it's up to Nintendo to save it now.
I was looking forward to playing with my friend who lives in another state. Super disappointed. I'll probably still pick it up, but I'll be in less of a hurry. Come on, Nintendo. This is just silly.
Just played my first race and won. Controls are a little heavy and awkward, but it's fun so far. Will be great for the occasional diversion, which is all I look for from smart phone games, something to play when I'm bored.
I'd buy a Moonlighter amiibo or two, if they unlocked some nice bonuses. And if they were at the old, lower price. I'm not really in for the new higher price of the recent Smash amiibo.
Happened to me when I took my sister to see Zootopia. All the previews were super inappropriate, so I had to take her out of the theater. I was FURIOUS. We got an upgrade to an Imax screening and free passes to a future movie, but we used the pass at a different theater... never took her back there. Couldn't trust them after that.
Going tomorrow with my little sister, can't wait! I hope this is the beginning of an upswing for video game movies. Now that Disney is out of ideas, Nintendo is a perfect candidate to step in with some fresh family friendly content.

Re: Decade-Old DS Game Dragon Quest V Re-Entered The Japanese Charts This Week
Don't know ponies about the Dragon Quest series, but that trailer looks good. Wonder if the movie will come out in the west eventually.

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st August (North America)
I'll pick up the original Doom when they fix the DRM, mostly out of curiosity since I never played it back in the day.
Re: Journey To The Outer Worlds When Obsidian's Space RPG Lands On Switch
Awesome! I hope they do a good job porting it. Was thinking about getting it for Xbox, but I could be persuaded to...... switch.
Re: Reminder: This Is Your Last Chance To Buy Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers (North America)
I was going to use this but now's not a good time financially... oh well. Guess I'll have to console myself by spending $48 on physical copies...
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Mod Adds Skyward Sword's Earth Temple Dungeon
@Shadowmoon522 Shrines vs dungeons, I'm good either way. But being able to climb in the rain? Now THAT is at the top of my wish list.

Re: Nintendo Hosts Huge Summer Sale, Up To 70% Off Over 180 Games On Switch And 3DS (Europe)
Also hoping this comes to the US...
Que the onslaught of condescending "just change your region" replies, as if we should have to bother with doing that...

Re: Rumour: Czech Retailer Lists The Witcher 3 Switch For A September Release
Hopefully not September, but I'm going to Czech later for an update.
Re: Nintendo Download: 3rd July (North America)
Demos... YES. I'll download all of them. Otherwise nothing for me this week.
It'd be cool if the shop let you play a few minutes of a game before you bought it. Then we wouldn't need demos...
Re: These Adorable Super Mario Maker 2 Plushies Are Now Available To Pre-Order
@Chunkboi79 Maybe they didn't want to call attention to all the amiibo support dropped from the original... ^_^'
Re: Review: Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered - Blowing Things Up Never Gets Old

Firmly in the "don't care" camp. Though this seems like an issue that could be tackled later with an update.

I suppose Columbus, Ohio is too much to ask for?
Tel Aviv makes sense to me. Israel is a popular tourist destination because of all the history there.

I was going to do a voucher, but I couldn't pass up the Switch Online bundle... only $56 with the gamer discount at Best Buy.

It's ready when you can beat all the bosses without wanting to tear your hair out.

@Stocksy They're actually just aluminum, the name is a lie haha.
Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening's Limited Edition Comes With A Game Boy Steelbook
Best Buy has it up, just put my preorder in for the Dreamer pack and the amiibo.
Annoying that NA doesn't get the whole package and the book doesn't look as nice but whatever, Steelbooks are 100% pointless anyway.
Re: A Full Sequel To The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is Now In Development
I could see Winter 2020. 2021 seems more likely, though.

Way to burst my bubble. Here I was thinking I was just that good for not having lost a race.

Re: Remake Of Stylish Cel-Shaded Shooter XIII Coming To Switch This November
Wasn't crazy about this one back in the day, but I'll give it another look if I can demo it somehow.
