100% for stranger things 3????? Oh i was the only one who voted 😂
@NintendoByNature yes, i vote for it as well, but only the series on Netflix. So for me nothing this week
You guys should post a single screenshot of each game if possible.
Just to give us readers a better idea
Haven't gotten the chance to play What Remains of Edith Finch yet so pretty excited about that one. And definitely going to try the Ape Out demo.
eh nice, but instead its better off watching the show.
show time!
I’m leaning towards SolSeraph. Loved ActRaiser.
Didn't NL use to write their own descriptions of the week's games instead of copy-pasting stuff from the devs? I miss that...
Nice to see a few more demos show up on the eShop! Might have to try the one for Ape Out.
Who are these brave Peach Ball gamers? I was gonna do it, but then I watched YouTube gameplay, and it was cool... until, the flippers started being used in a provocative manner. Then awkwardness settled in and I had to bail out. Kudos to anyone that can shamelessly play this. I’m not judging you negatively. As a matter of fact, I think I’m jealous.
Wait isnt this a day early? Ah wait it's Independence day tomorrow.
Here's a question for US people, why do you call it 4th of July, but all other dates the wrong way around?? (Not a joke, just curious)
@Bunkerneath
Maybe to make it a special day? .... Never really thought of it. Saying July 4th just seems like any other day of the year.
@Bunkerneath It's more like "4th of July" as something you would say in a conversation, and "July 4th" is something you would write down to fill in the date.
Also, hearing commercials repeating the words "Fourth of July sale!!!" over and over cements the phrase in your brain.
But back on topic here, I'll give that Ape Out demo a go. I would probably pass on this title normally, but I'll give Devolver Digital the benefit of the doubt. I poured enough hours into their games that they've earned my trust at this point.
I didn’t like NES Clu Clu Land. Is the arcade version any better?
I'm potentially interested in Stranger Things, but want to read some reviews of people who've played it before I buy it. The concept is interesting and I enjoyed the mobile game as far as that went, but not sure if I'm in for $20 for it.
@EmmatheBest we could manage that during the Wii U days because there were much fewer releases. On Switch there are so many it just isn’t possible in a useful timeframe!
My physical Senran Kagura Peach Ball will be here next week so I'm ready for some fanservicey pinball action!
I was all like, where's Europe where's Europe
Then I realised that it is Wednesday
I'd love to get Terraria, but $30 is absolutely utter insanity. Even with the Switch tax it shouldn't be more than $15. So nothing for me, I guess
Nothing for me this week. Drowning in games right now. Kind of surprised this update came a day early though. Usually they come on Thursday.
Im possibly going to play stranger things 3 but it would be awesome if they did the first two also
Hoping SolSeraph is good, but waiting on reviews.
Thankfully I clicked the “nothing for me this week” box.
The Wii U is back, baby!
Ape Out is pretty fun... hopefully there will be a sequel that is even better.
I enjoy pinball.
I enjoy anime boobs.
Senran Kagura wins again!
Hoping SolSeraph turns out well, and Peach Ball has my attention.
@antdickens My Wii U sheds a tear every week when it sees how many games the Switch is getting.
@dskatter
I also love pinball... and boobs... and I have NO problem combining the two... but that game looks awful!
SolSeraph for me, followed by Blazing Chrome next Thursday. <3
Jesus that's a lot of cats quest ads.
I want to play What remains of Edith Finch but I'll hold out in Hope's of a physical release.
@Tandy255 don’t bother with clu clu land, get this week’s actual arcade download: Ninja Spirit
Glas to see Sol Seraph getting some love. It came out of nowhere, looks fantastic, and there's been nothing like it in decades on console.
I'm excited for the Stranger Things game. Looks great.
Demos... YES. I'll download all of them. Otherwise nothing for me this week.
It'd be cool if the shop let you play a few minutes of a game before you bought it. Then we wouldn't need demos...
Where is that pool game for flip’s sake?
Oh look another dire week....no surprises there then!
Well what do you know the Wii U is still alive.
@konbinilife They can't even be bothered to double check the eShop after it updates or if there are games that they know for a fact are releasing but aren't on the official press release (as in, games they've previewed and explicitly said is releasing on Thursday or whenever). All they care about is churning out articles and clickbait as fast as possible.
They used to write much more frequent opinion and discussion pieces than they do now. I usually check the actual eShop for updates now, but still sometimes come here of course.
I spy a Wii U game! Wonder if it's worth it?
I’ll be getting Terraria which will be the 4th time buying it. Torn between waiting for the physical one though. I think that’s what I’m going to do— might as well switch it up this time and go physical. I don’t know what it is but Terraria is just awesome to me.
Really curious about SolSeraph.
Excited for Stranger Things 3, but not $25 excited, so I'll watch the season and wait for a price drop.
@konbinilife You guys should post a single screenshot of each game if possible.
Just to give us readers a better idea
I would be interested in knowing what percentage of releases every week are 2D wannabe SNES games. I'll bet it's greater than 50%.
I’m in for both SolSeraph and Stranger Things 3, even though I didn’t play prior Stranger Things games. The Wii U release is sort of sad for me though, I just packed up my Wii U and 75 games yesterday as I couldn’t stand to see how much dust it had been collecting. End of an era. I really, really loved that system.
Weird
Ape Out still doesn't have a demo
I wonder where's their source
Penguin Wars was one of my favorite Gameboy games! It’s great! Wish the new one was cheaper, but definitely a fun game!
