@Dman10 Yes! A season pass sale would be nice... they discount the base game and the gold edition all the time, but never the DLC.

Backlogged so mostly waiting... will probably get Mario and Sphinx eventually. I hope the game-breaking bug in Sphinx is fixed. That would probably decide it for me.

Agree with most of these. Super Mario 3D Land and Tri Force Heroes would also work, no?

I wouldn't mind if they made the ice boss for Luigi's Mansion a touch easier... been trying and trying to get past that one and I just can't seem to get the timing down.

Physical but transitioning to digital. Historically it's been cheaper to buy new games in physical form (oddly enough) but that will be changing next year with programs like Gamer's Club getting phased out.

Intriguing, and best of luck to them, but I've given up on Kickstarters for games. Getting ripped off once was enough. There's no quality control to make sure it's actually playable and fun.

@Darthroseman Fair point. I guess I like several characters despite not being into their games... just feels like an obscure choice. If they're all going to be like this one, the Pass could wind up being kind of boring.

Not a strong start to the DLC roster for me. It's great for the people that know the games, but I couldn't care less about this character. Maybe I'll hold off on buying the Fighter Pass...

They're making a traditional Pokemon game next year. It wouldn't have come out any faster if this game had never existed.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I see Sony headed back to third place. They did it to themselves in the PS3 era, then the Wii U failed, then Xbox One stumbled out of the gate. Now I guess it's Playstation's turn to screw up?

Never finished Sphinx, though I enjoyed what I played! For $30 it better be a remaster though, otherwise I'll just stick with the GCN version.

I'd like to see them pull a Majora's Mask, in a few ways. It'd be fun to bring the mask mechanic back, and if they re-use BOTW assets they can speed up turn around time. Maybe it could take place in BOTW's future, so there could be more buildings and cities.

Also agree that the broken weapon mechanic could be improved. I mostly didn't care, but it always hurt to use up a weapon I loved. A repair mechanic would fix that.

Let's see how the Mario movie and Captain Marvel come out first...

I hope they make this Link compatible with BOTW. The prior Majora's Mask amiibo is impossible to find for a good price anymore.

Subspace Emissary 2, with support for 4 player co-op. A new Zelda character would be nice, otherwise there's no one "missing" for me.

Calling a huge quantity of the games shovelware isn't exactly fair unless you've PLAYED a huge quantity of the games. Everything I've played has been fun, and it's better than the reverse problem we had during the Wii U days...

Got the annual pretty early on.

My only complaint is the need to check in. I tend to play offline, undocked, so it comes up every week, then I have to remember to dock so I can play NES games again. I paid for a year. Can't I just check in after a year?

Didn't Philips sue Nintendo? Doubt their relationship is good enough to where Nintendo will allow them to have the Mario and Zelda games.

THANK YOU. All the negativity is getting old quick. It really is a good deal, and they made it as painless as they could. I see nothing but good ahead as the service will no doubt continue to improve.

I'm enjoying the service so far. The NES games are fun, and gameplay for online games is pretty much as it was. No reason to complain.

@Whalehome Similar concept to Skyrim, but everything is underground in one insane, sprawling dungeon. The first two games paved the way for Elder Scrolls and the like, early pioneers in 3D and all that.

I never got to play the second but I remember the first rather fondly.

The guide for the original version of Link to the Past for Super NES. I loved the way it was written like a storybook and just enjoyed reading it. Guides back in the day used to be so creative and filled with background info and goodies, I miss that. I barely even used it as an actual guide!

Close runner up would be Hyrule Historia. Love that book.
