Xbox feels like it's collapsing under the weight of its lengthy development times... I'm pretty frustrated with the lack of games over there. When BOTW2 was bumped, I was bummed, but figured fair enough, I still haven't gotten to Arceus or Kirby. When Starfield was bumped, it's like... ok. Guess it's a good thing I haven't gotten to Arceus or Kirby...

The two pack and TPHD are both longshots anyway... Wind Waker is more likely. Or Grezzo's next project.

Next year is too soon... I'm betting on 2024 or beyond.

@Veggies Very true... I like to see a company take bold risks sometimes, but for me Other M throws out a little too much of what made Metroid great. I think it needed a little more of the Metroid "sauce" to connect with fans.

@Veggies Not always the case... Metroid: Prime and BOTW were big shake-ups, and they did just fine.

By chance I'm actually playing through this game for the first time right now. And I can confirm it sucks 😂 Gameplay is plodding, Wiimote useage is awkward, voice acting is rough, and the plot isn't quite clicking.

But I'm glad to here it gets better further in...

Halfway between like it and don't care. I don't display all my games, I keep the cartridges in a handy case, so it doesn't matter much to me. But I kinda like the gold banners, they feel fancy 😂

@-wc- That fails to take into account part time jobs, young people who need starter jobs, and retirees who want to work in their spare time. Not every job has to be a living, so forcing every business to pay someone the same standard of living cuts down options for both employee and employer.

@-wc- Fair enough, I don't know much about OK, I'm just skeptical about minimum wage as a one-size fits all solution to a multifaceted problem. It's fine for Google and Amazon, and maybe even a lot of medium sized businesses, but it puts an unfair burden on small businesses. I feel like at the very least it should scale with the size of the company.

@Olmectron Quite a bit if you've got other expenses... but I agree to an extent. I think software was the biggest issue. There wasn't much to pick from early on that felt "must-have." Main reason I waited until OoT 3d came out.

I thought for a second this was going to be a game where you fight sharks in a biplane, and I got really, really excited.

Ultima would be awesome... I'd go for a remaster of Ultima Underworld... as long as it's not as disastrous as the recent attempt at a revival.

I spent a year saving up for a Nintendo 64 when I was 11-12, and then when I finally had enough money... I realized I couldn't afford a game. Whoops. Thankfully my parents stepped in and recognized my hard work and picked up Super Mario 64.

The Switch was my first day one console, and I have no regrets there.

Well, this sounds much worse than I was expecting... seems like it needed a few more months in the cooker. I don't care about golf but I'll wait until at least then to see if they spruce things up enough to make it worth the cost.

@HolyGeez03 No... I own both. I liked the aerial aspects but felt like the game ground to a halt every time Fox leapt out of the cockpit. I think Star Fox is best with a "less is more" approach, personally... but I'd still support a remaster if they can smooth over some of the rough edges.

Worst: Assault or Zero... found both of them really hard to get into. The on foot missions in Assault were seriously the worst.

@JeanPaul I loved Boxing, played it more than the other sports combined. It felt more like a workout than the others to me.

Also geez, that list of Resorts sports make the new game look a little weak 😂

I think an N64 mini is pretty unlikely... and honestly, I don't care, I own most of the best games anyway... though I'd bite if they give it something exclusive the way the SNES got Starfox 2 😂

One of my first Nintendo 64 games... would love to see it make a comeback! I remember buying an expansion pack along with... even though I didn't understand what it did at the time 😂

Looks fun, but it's a few games shy of being worth $40 for me... will probably wait for a sale.

I'll bet they do GB and GBC on the regular tier and GBA goes to the expansion pack.

@Clyde_Radcliffe Agreed... I'd rather see a BIG collection, like the Genesis Classics or Rare Replay, but for a ton of Sonic games.

Nintendo's still riding high on the current model, and there are still chip shortages, right? Switch2 seems very unlikely.

I have the Player's Guide for LTTP, it's awesome. Written in an in-universe style, almost reads like a story. If more modern guides were written like that, I don't think they'd have died off as quickly.

@HotGoomba I've seen iffy studios put out solid movies, when a beloved franchise was on the line. I'm not a fan of Blue Sky (at all), but thought they did a fantastic job with the Peanuts Movie.

Though I do like some Illumination movies, so maybe we just have different taste 😂

Would definitely pick up a few reprints if they come here for a decent price... still need Robobot, Ever Oasis, Kid Icarus, and Detective Pikachu...

Disappointing, but 2022 was pretty saturated. And I appreciate Nintendo's humble spirit. Release the game when it's done and not a day sooner.

Nah, it'll be something else. Though I do think making it rhyme or compliment Breath of the Wild would make sense. We're talking about the sequel to the bestselling game in the series by an order of magnitude, so I wouldn't consider previous naming conventions. BOTW sold more than several prior Zelda games combined.

@P-Man I really like the Zelda timeline, personally. Yes, it retcons a few things, but I think they came up with creative ways to connect all the games. The amount of negativity toward it here surprised me.

That being said, I think Kirby (and Mario) work just fine without a timeline.
