I agree to an extent, but I do miss the days when games launched finished... so much so I no longer buy games day one from anyone but Nintendo, and even that's gotten iffier than it used to be.

Very cool. I would definitely hang one of these on the wall if Nintendo put them up for sale.

Arms seems like the most natural choice. Most of the other options I would prefer new games for... Though I voted for Zelda because expanding the dungeon maker sounds great 😂

I'll just buy the DLC eventually. I don't think these DLCs are a good draw... it would be better if they adopted a Games with Gold model and gave away retro games.

I got too hyped for Zelda news... my fault. It was ok, MK DLC is welcome, and I'm looking forward to Kirby and Splatoon... the rest was wait for a sale or Christmas type stuff.

BOTW2, new Mario and DK, and... something unexpected. Personally, I'd love remasters of DK64 and Four Swords Adventures...

I think the "one more thing" will be title and release date for BOTW2, no footage.

I'd also like to see Mario Odyssey 2. Co-op with Donkey Kong would be a fun twist.

Couldn't agree more. The only thing gamers have to gain from this is... what? Bragging rights that "their" console of choice has the best exclusives?

There's no immediate benefits to us other than more games in Game Pass, which is great now, but let me tell you what's going to happen to Game Pass in a few years when Microsoft hits their subscription targets...

One of my favorite gaming memories is Tatl asking if you've done this before. Why yes, Tatl, yes I have. 😎Navi never bugged me that much... I've always liked the idea of Link having an adventure companion, I think it's a very sound concept.

I can get behind most of these. An upgrade system for weapons would be nice. Some way to make them permanent, and also to make them more powerful over time.

I did not miss dungeons. If they do bring them back, I hope they keep their size under control. They were getting out of hand, especially in Twilight Princess.

Would have been nice at the time... oh well. Kind of surprised the game has never gotten much of a re-release beyond the Virtual Console.

@Specter_of-the_OLED Good point. It's already happening with Disney's acquisition of Fox. Some studios and franchises have been completely buried.

@CANOEberry Agreed. They SHOULD stop this one, but they won't. Disney buying Fox was clearly too far, and they didn't care about that 😂

Oof, I wanted to pick 3 options. I'd love to see Smash Kart, but actual flying and the return of the Double-Dash mechanic would be great.

Mario Kart Ultimate, but with all previous tracks instead of all previous characters would also be cool. With Mario Kart I feel like the tracks are more important than the racers.

A remake of Four Swords Adventures would make me very happy. Loved it but never could get four GBAs together. I bought a second one so my little sis and I could play together.

Been really enjoying this series. I figured 10 would be the last. I hope they do BoTW next.

This series would be perfect material for an anime adaptation though.

Shadowgate 64... it was one of my favorite N64 games and it's been largely forgotten.

Looks cool visually. Emptying out a world seems silly, but creating an impossibly giant canyon I get.

I liked the new movie, so I will put this in the "cautiously optimistic" box.

Metroidvania sounds nice... soulslike less so 😂

A new Yu-gi-oh game slipped in at the bottom there... I'm curious whether that's any good...

7. Some good games, but overall not their best year. I realized recently that I only picked up two of their games this year, Skyward Sword and Metroid Dread.

Most played for me were Hyrule Warriors, BOTW, and Metroid: Dread.

My recommended were also terrible, but the upcoming games make 2022 look fantastic.

Metroid and Skyward Sword for me... slow year. Lot to look forward to next year though!

I don't think the US offer is current?? Unless I'm just stupid... the only offer I've found is expired.

I know it's not a new problem, but I find the refusal to fix controller pak issues really frustrating.

I was hoping for an overall playtime counter... that would be more interesting.

My top game is Breath of the Wild, and has been for the whole time I've had my Switch.

@sinetic I think they accidentally did Four Swords twice.

Also I enjoyed Triforce Heroes... I think it's way underrated as a follow up to Four Swords. I'd like to see them do a multiplayer Zelda for Switch.

AoL is easily my least favorite. The overly high difficulty level (right from the start) is one thing, but I also just find it tedious, which is much harder to forgive 😂

I'd also give an honorable mention to the DS games. I hated Spirit Tracks especially. They just had a... soulless quality to me somehow. It was like a burrito tortilla with no meat. It looked like Zelda but there was nothing inside.

Picked up Wargroove and Northgard. Tempted to get Children of Morta...

I loved Four Swords back in the day. I wish Nintendo would do a re-release that doesn't require special equipment or multiple consoles... I would love a couch co-op I can play with my little sister.
