Re: Nintendo Download: 13th November (North America)

LasermasterA

HEY Nintendo why no Golden Sun 2 in North America? Doesn't it take longer for EU games in general... GS needs more love!

In other news, another piece of Golden Sun music (one on Norfair and the other on Palutena's Temple) was found in Smash 4 with still no sign of any other GS representation.......

Curiouser and Curiouser!

Re: Video: Early Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric Footage Hints At Game-Breaking Bugs

LasermasterA

Seriously Sega what happened to you?

I know it is developed by Big Red Button but you can't let such an amazing and popular IP go to waste. The last of the 3 games of the deal they made with Nintendo looks to be mediocre again.

Haven't played the Lost World or the Winter Olympics game but even they did not get glowing reviews from critics and users alike. Not as good as past games were.

On the other hand, I am playing Sonic generations and All-stars Racing Transformed, and those 2 games are amazing!

Re: Genyo Takeda Discusses Nintendo's Hardware Future

LasermasterA

Woah is that why there are no ads on TV?

I don't mind that as I don't watch TV anyway, but even surfing around the Internet, I don't see where Nintendo is doing its advertising. Seriously their sales would be so much more if they advertised atleast a bit more. If not on TV, atleast post more ads in other places!

Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo Direct Summary - 5th November

LasermasterA

Xenoblade and Splatoon looked amazing. And S.T.E.A.M. looks really interesting. Plus then there is the Majora's Mask remake which I will try as I have never played the original.

Seriously, the best thing for me were those 2 minutes of Xenoblade. The game is shaping up to look amazing and seems to blow out all competition out of the park. Who needs FF when we have XCX. Plus it would be really cool if we could climb that super huge monster SoTC style because it is really weird when midgets fight the giants on the ground without the giant trying to crush the aformentioned midgets. Although even flying on the mech and battling that "colossus" seems to be a great proposition.

As Zelda U was not mentioned, neither was SMT x FE or Star Fox U, I believe that we will have another Direct in the beginning of next year to give us other stuff to look at. Plus more surprises

Overall, this Direct was really good.

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in the November Nintendo Direct

LasermasterA

SMT x FE news! Cause if I am thinking correctly, the gameplay could resemble Devil Survivor the way it plays, and the Overclocked version is my favourite SMT game! I would totally love it, plus that game needs more news.

I don't own a Wii U yet but I am getting it this month so extension of Digital Download Promotion would be cool.

Also having surprise news would be nice. Like some totally random unexpected, out of the blue awesome game! (GS4 please!)

Re: Review: Bayonetta 2 (Wii U)

LasermasterA

W00T!

Looked good, and now the game looks amazing. I can't still believe that Gamespot gave this game a 10, that too after 4 years! The last game was SMG2.

Can't wait to get this game. Now it is definitely a must buy for action game fans!

Re: Capcom Won't Greenlight Sequels If A Game Doesn't Sell Over Two Million Copies

LasermasterA

@Bulbousaur
Don't forget how they dumbed down the combat. They tried to incorporate various styles of Dante in the original series, but it ended up in a dumbed down jumbled mess. The game was much easier, style was much easier to accumulate and they had two buttons for dodge! Plus the timing was needed to be less precise in this game than any other DmC which was newbie friendly, but not how the original series was.

Plus no hard-locking and all that stuff. And obviously the game itself. One of the fights' dialogue just had Dante and the boss (don't remember who), consisted mainly of them cussing each other.... >.< Seriously.....

DmC was fun, great actually, but it was NOT a great Devil May Cry game. It would have been better to be called as a spin-off series or totally away from Devil May Cry altogether. The game would have been much better received then, as it wouldn't have been compared to the amazing games that preceded it.

Looks like there will be no more Devil May Cry. Adios Dante, looks like Bayonetta has replaced you.

Plus Platinum makes tons more action games anyway. Now I will go play Metal Gear Rising....

Re: Square Enix's Latest 3DS RPG Final Fantasy Explorers Won't Support Stereoscopic 3D

LasermasterA

Hey atleast it supports the Circle Pad Pro! I don't mind this move that much considering I don't use 3D much and I prefer a better control scheme over the 3D effect, if that was the factor in decision or whatever. In comparison I don't like the lack of Circle Pad Pro support on Smash, whereas the same game supports the C-stick on New 3DS. I know they said that it takes 5% of processing power but it still seems a tad much. Also that they are considering launching an amiibo peripheral for 3DS which uses the very same infrared communication as the CPP.

Obviously having both would be nice as developers shouldn't skimp out on what makes the hardware unique. As long as the game is good, I probably won't have too many complaints.

Re: Famitsu Releases Dossier on Sherlock Holmes' Appearance in the New Ace Attorney

LasermasterA

Yea this new Watson is looking really out of place. And anyway, how did this Sherlock and Watson become friends anyway? They can't have been roommates. Plus this Watson won't have taken part in the War....

@ShadJV
Yes. She will be the youngest prodigy at 8. Pearl while not a prodigy in the academic sense was definitely a spirit medium prodigy. She was also 8. I think they shouldn't have tampered too much with Sherlock's duo if they are putting them in the game... I would have preferred the camaraderie of the older Watson and Sherlock, but let's see how this turns out. It will be quirky that's for sure.

Re: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Will Support The New 3DS C-Stick, But Not The Circle Pad Pro

LasermasterA

This is a very bad move in my opinion. I was a bit miffed at the N3DS announcement as I just recently bought my Pokemon X/Y 3DS XL and now they announce a revision of 3DS which will have exclusive games starting with Xenoblade. Fine, I can make do without 1 or 2 games but this is so bad.

With N3DS I thought we could get more games that utilize the 2nd stick and thus more CPP support. And Nintendo is doing just the opposite, while it is a 1st party peripheral!!! This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I usually don't get peeved easily....

Re: Review: Mario Golf: Advance Tour (Wii U eShop / Game Boy Advance)

LasermasterA

Did somebody just mention Golden Sun?!!!

Seriously, Camelot's best games were on the GBA. Gotta try this one. Loved Golden Sun 1+2, loved Mario Tennis: Power Tour, and probably going to love this one as well. Haven't really played any of the Mario Golf games but I do like the golf games I have, and this being a Camelot game on GBA, I don't think I will be disappointed especially after reading this review.

(P.S. I still support Isaac for Smash 4.)

And that first picture looks very Golden Sun-ny.

Re: Poll: Tell Us What You Think of the New Nintendo 3DS

LasermasterA

I don't mind the new 3DS as much if it mainly had the amiibo support and the C-stick as well as the ZL/ZR buttons, because my circle pad pro could easily support the latter 2 functions and I am not interested in Amiibo. But I mind the fact that there will be exclusive games on this "new" 3DS. I won't be able to play these games without an entirely new "new" 3DS XL (even the naming is bad). I had trouble getting my first 3DS, I don't see how I could get another when I just want to spend on games rather than on a revised console.

The games that support this new C-stick which are not exclusive to this new "new" 3DS better support the CPP....

Don't know if I will buy this. If they have a really cool edition like that MH4 3DS, for a great price then I might bite, otherwise my Pokemon X/Y 3DS XL would do the job.

Playing Xenoblade on Wii anyway.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2 Confirmed By Capcom, Skipping Nintendo Systems

LasermasterA

@Remisio
If MH5 would be on PS4, I wouldn't know what to do...
But that is doubtful considering MH sells mostly in Japan and what is the most popular system in Japan? 3DS! So I am not worried much about Monster Hunter going to the PS unless Sony gives them a ton load of money which I doubt will happen looking at their current financial condition.

Nintendo, just buy the super awesome Capcom properties if it ever goes bankrupt which is not unlikely looking at the path Capcom is choosing.

Plus all this behaviour from 3rd parties is getting really annoying. They are releasing it on past gen but do not care enough to release it on the vastly superior Wii U? It can easily get the X360 or PS3 version of the game with some slight tweaks!

Re: Gallery: It's Time for a Shulk Super Smash Bros. Blowout

LasermasterA

@thesilverbrick
To be honest, many of my friends and I thought that a element changing mechanic would belong to Isaac in a similar way that Shulk got this stat changing mechanic. Well Isaac still has tons of options to explore,

I wonder if that is the reason behind why Sakurai said that. Well we can only speculate regarding that.

Still Shulk seems to be a good strategic character.

Re: Gallery: It's Time for a Shulk Super Smash Bros. Blowout

LasermasterA

@Jayvir

Well I just started Xenoblade Chronicles but from what little spoilers I know, I do know that it is kind of impossible for the two games to be in the same universe. I was just asking what he meant by that dialogue. Because Shulk will not appear in any other game besides this crossover and the NEW 3DS port (which is basically the same game).

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles Coming to 3DS in Japan

LasermasterA

@El_Scorpio

Yea now this move doesn't sound so good after all. This is what the 3DS XL should have been. Launching this after 45 million 3DS sales then putting exclusive games on it (1 or 2 is fine) that to, many, is just not nice!

@PrincessSugoi
That is fine, but I don't want to buy a new console of the same generation just for Wii ports. They should have used the CPU power only for multitasking and kept the games across both the same.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles Coming to 3DS in Japan

LasermasterA

... Now we are going to have another label on the games. This game works on new 3DS/ normal 3DS/ 2DS! Very simple! Plus I just hope not too many games come exclusively for new 3DS otherwise that would be a disappointing move considering it will feel like a new generation instead of a redesigned model. Cool surprise for JRPG fans on Nintendo consoles!

@PrincessSugoi
Not exactly. The game looks very bad compared to the Wii edition but the power will be enough to get downscaled games I guess. We already did get DKCR:3D although it was at 30 fps not 60.

Nintendo after all these surprises just give me and other GS fans, Golden Sun 4 and Isaac for Sm4sh (sorry I just had to say it).

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced

LasermasterA

@dkxcalibur

Exactly! I just hope that many of the 1st party games OR the 3rd party games are not built around the increased horsepower. They can use the 2nd circle pad though but people will have to buy the Circle pad pro. That is a better option than buying a brand new 3DS XL though.

Re: Xenoblade's Shulk Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. During Japanese Nintendo Direct

LasermasterA

@Legromancer

Yes I totally agree! Nintendo does need to give their RPGs exposure. Fire Emblem they have already given enough exposure with 4 characters, even Xenoblade now has one character! Now the only character left is Isaac from Golden Sun, a legendary series by Nintendo which has largely been forgotten. But its not too late, since they just got the GBA games on VC.

@Porky

Which demo? Plus we always have DLC.

Re: Xenoblade's Shulk Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. During Japanese Nintendo Direct

LasermasterA

To be honest, the trailer was pretty cool and emphasised on Shulk being a unique character with a different playstyle from the the other swordsman. The Monado variations look cool! Plus the trailer made my all hyped for an Isaac reveal as well. After all Isaac is another Nintendo JRPG character with a similar popularity to Shulk plus he has Djinns to use!

Here's to Isaac joining Shulk soon in Smash 4!

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced

LasermasterA

Well the good thing is now that more games will support the Circle Pad pro! I will so buy that Monster Hunter 4 new 3DS XL in a heartbeat if it comes out here!

The bad news is that the CPU is buffed up and there might be exclusive new 3DS games...
