A flashback in gaming nostalgia, remade for Switch. This 1992 classic is what we were playing back in the day. In many ways it's a game that was ahead of its time, definitely worth revisiting or discoving anew.
A relaxing and beautiful looking underwater conservation simulator. A fun and mesmerising zen-like game where you save the oceans and go treasure hunting.
But the BIG question is; Does it have good old British pub pool balls and rules. I'm always so disappointed with these games as they generally only have American pool tables.
@Tommy-and-Timmy Yep. I played WOT:Blitz for free on mobile up to tier IV. So now I've still got all the tanks that I unlocked and a much better controller than a mobile screen. It's a good (if not tough) game... for free!!!
If Wargaming did an Advanced Wars game... you'll end up paying gold for advanced ammo, and stupid amounts for premium virtual tanks. They have a very unethical pay-to-play model. This company must NOT be allowed to monopolise on the franchise!
A hidden gem of an indie game worthy of recognition with a simple premise. Be the guiding spirit of your own tribe of survivors, harvest, craft, build up and sail away in this simple but effective turn-based survival strat. Definitely recommended! Well worth a try for survival strat fans.
I really loved that app, thankfully I can still play with Miitomo 'unofficially' but it would be awesome if they developed another Mii based game/social network.
Yes ARK is an excellent game and works well enough on Switch, and yes the graphics aren't the best but the gameplay is really good and you do get the full Ark experience. Definitely one to pick up from the bargain bin tbh. It's a pity NL slammed it so hard it should be 5 /10 at worst, but don't let ratings put you off a thing.
If Ark: Survival Evolved is one of the worst Switch games ever how come I've got 360 hours in it if it's that bad?!! It's not one of the worst games it's one of the worst reviews! NintendoLife sure review bombed that one!
Along with the Epic Game give away (for PC) this has made my Christmas Advent countdown so much more fun. A huge thank you to Qubic Games. THANK YOU! I had to buy into the first couple to get going but it was worth it to get all these fab little games. So far I just can't put Wreckin' Ball Adventure down - looking forward to playing this with family over Christmas.
I came in like a wrecking ball... This physics-based platform roller is great fun solo and even better with friends. Give it a go its definitely worth it!
An excellent Switch adaptation of the not so famous board-game, now you don't require loads of space on a table to lay out your map and you can't lose the pieces. If you know the rules it's very simple to pick up, but if you're new to the game you may benefit from a bit of extra tuition. A great couch co-op to play with up to 4 players on the TV or on the go. This game is much better played with friends than against the CPU players. Some features are lacking and the expansion DLCs probably not worth it. All in all I'd give Carcassonne on Switch a solid 8/10 (because it's a game I love and enjoy and it's so awesome to have this on Switch).
I agree @ashfoxx I bought it on discount for Switch and am sad to report that it is CMS2018, but even more cut-down and simplified than the mobile version.
4 move, turn based has worked for 23 years - why change a winning formula only to break the game. There would be international uproar if Game Freak suddenly decided to change the core game mechanics that we know and love so well.
This is a most excellent game (arguably the best SW game), any updates from the devs are greatly welcomed although this particular issues doesn't affect me... but if they could just enable MP so we can have death-matches and our old-school duel battles again that would make this game so awesome on this platform.
IRK, it seems that they've not ported all the awesome parts of the game.
And how you can shoot or use a lightsabre without a mouse is a mystery to me, it's gonna be so much harder with controllers. I'll probably still get it tho.

I'm really enjoying playing Deep Diving Adventures. It was on sale the other day and I haven't put it down since. Such a chillaxed game!

@Tommy-and-Timmy That's fair enough bro, been playing the original World of Tanks on PC for years. Its not an easy game to get on with.

Re: Review: Animal Crossing: New Horizons - An Accessible And Addictive Masterpiece

Haters gonna hate! One thing has become blatantly apparent in this day and age, the majority of gamers are 'spoil little brats', you've finally got a mainstream Pokémon game on Switch just shut up and play it and be the best you can given the tools you've got! Seriously.
